World Peace – Nay or Yay?
Introduction:
Yay, world peace is coming! Yay – let’s celebrate and cheer!
Nay, it’s not coming to this world. It’s coming to another world! It will come in on the wings of destruction and judgement of this world, and the instillation of a glorious new world, holy and righteous – forever! - Yay!
World peace the world’s way ends in pieces. “God will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed... It shall break in pieces the world’s kingdoms.” (Daniel 2:44)
Revelation 6:4 “...It was granted to the one who sat on the fiery red horse, to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given him a great sword.”
World peace, God’s way, is coming soon. (Psalm72:11) Peace comes in your own life in much the same way. It is peace by righteousness!
So, in terms of our prayer lives, who or what should we pray for, and how should we pray?
John 17:9 “I (Yeshua) pray for them. I do not pray for the world, but for those whom you have given Me, for they are yours.”
What is end-time Babylon?
Before we go any further, I must just quickly spell this out, because of all the confusion around it, and the importance of the correct identification of end-time Babylon.
It is not the original city in present day Iraq, which some claim is to be rebuilt. If you read all the biblical references, you will see it’s absolutely impossible. And no it has not been rebuilt – look it up.
End-time Babylon can only be the entire end-time world system, with its religions. There is no other explanation, or way of fitting in the hundreds of relevant verses.
When Babylon was destroyed, the Bible says it would never rise again – forever. That is a literal statement, but it also has profound prophetic meaning in that end-time Babylon – the world-system, will never ever rise again after its soon coming judgement and destruction.
Jeremiah50:39-41 “It (Babylon) shall be inhabited no more, forever nor shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation. As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and their neighbouring cities, no one shall dwell in it.”
World destruction and world peace in amazing name meanings:
Some types of the end-time world-system are: Babylon, Egypt, Rome, Nineveh, Sodom & Gomorrah, Lot, the days of Noah, and a few more. Nebuchadnezzar was king of Babylon at the time of the captivity of the Jews, and Moses was God’s man at the time of the Exodus from Egypt, headed by Pharaoh - Ramesses 11.
●Babylon / Babel: Strong’s H894. Meanings: Confusion by mixing together. But the origin of the word “Babel” in the original cuneiform Semitic language: “The gateway or bridge to God.”
●The king of Babylon was Nebuchadnezzar. Interestingly this name means: Tears and groans of judgement! The realking of Babylon is Satan – the god of this world.
●The word, “Pharaoh” means “great house.” The Pharaoh of Egypt during the time of the Exodus was Ramesses 11. This name means “Begotten by the sun!” or “born of Ra (sun).” This is total counterfeit of being born of the Son of God!
●The meaning of the name, “Moses” is “to draw out” or “rescue from.” The name is obviously symbolic of his own being drawn out of the Nile River as a kid, but has the same meaning for the later life of Moses as he drew out and rescued the children of Israel from Egyptian bondage.
●The meaning of the name, “Lot” is “hidden behind a covering veil.” This name means that we as believers are hidden in God from the reaches of terrible evil and judgement. It also means that the Jews will have the veil of blindness upon them removed, as the end-time judgements fall!
●The meaning of the name Noah is “rest,” (Strong’s, H5146, or Greek, G3575)
●The ark came to rest on Mount Ararat (Strong’s H0780) meaning: The curse is reversed and holy ground.
►Here is the grand summary:
The world today is a “mixture” of truth and error, right and wrong with no absolutes. The nations of the world are trying to build a new world of peace, a “bridge to God” without God. (Babylon)The leaders of the world will soon “shed tears and groan as judgment falls”. (Nebuchadnezzar) They will sit like gods in “great houses” (Pharaoh) enlightened by the false gods of the sun. (Ramesses) At this time God will “draw out” (Moses) His people, the Jews from the nations and rescue them with soon coming salvation and rest. (Noah) As judgement falls on the whole world, the spiritual veil of blindness upon the Jews lifts and they see their Messiah – our Messiah! (Lot)This will all lead to the Millennium and the resting of the earth as the great curse of Adam is reversed. (Ararat)
The peace of Babylon:
Today, many want world peace. Many churches and Christians pray for world peace. They are wasting their time! They are praying for the peace of Babylon. Here’s the surprise:
Jeremiah 29:7 “Seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, (Babylon), and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace, you will have peace.”
It would have been a very hard thing for Jews to pray for the peace of Babylon, because of all the evil upon the Jews in Babylon. But here is the key: They were to pray for the peace of Babylon so that its peace would rub off on them while they were in captivity there. It was for their own temporary “shalom” and well being.
The same biblical principle applies to the entire worldwide Diaspora (scattering) (By the way, that’s the exact opposite of what Islam does in nations where it is now found.
Likewise, as Christians we are to pray for kings and all in authority that we might live in peace. (1Timothy 2:2) We are exiles in this world, but peace in a nation is for our benefit and the unrestricted spread of the gospel.
It’s not about making the world a better place of peace. That won’t happen. It is about God’s interest in His own blood-bought children.
Note what happened to Babylon after the Jewish captivity. It was destroyed! It occurred when the Jews left Egypt. The same is occurring right now as Jews leave Europe! The same destruction will come upon the world suddenly, at the rapture (1 Thessalonians 5:3)
Beware when God’s exiles leave! Beware when the exiles leave Babylon! Beware when the exiles leave the world at the rapture. Then all hell breaks loose.
Don’t waste your breath praying for world peace! You are praying for the world of man without the God of truth and the cross of Calvary. If that were to come – you would be screwed by the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth! (Revelation 17:1)
Revelation 18:10 “...Alas, alas, that great city Babylon - the mighty city! For in one hour your judgement has come.”
The world’s soon coming demise is inevitable. Concern yourself with that which fills heaven and glorifies God. The smoke of Babylon’s burning will glorify God.
The peace of Jerusalem:
Interestingly, the Bible says we are to “pray for the peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6) But will peace come to Jerusalem? No sir, it won’t! So why pray for something that the Bible says won’t happen.
Jerusalem will soon be surrounded by many world armies, all out for her destruction. (Zechariah 12:2-3) This takes place at the end of the tribulation period.
But peace will come to Jerusalem under the Prince of Peace at the Second Coming. That is also when peace will come to the world. So, in effect, world peace comes as Jerusalem lands up in peace!
You can’t have world peace without peace in Jerusalem under the Prince of peace!
So, the peace of Babylon (world) is coming soon as it is destroyed, and a new world order – the Millennium is created by our Lord. The Millennium arises out of the fiery ashes and smoke of the world’s destruction. Goodbye Babylon!
The peace of Jerusalem will be a glorious partner for the peace of the new world – under the rule and reign of our Lord and you and me! What a slap in the face for the mass-media that will be!
With this little exposition above, I hope this may direct your prayer accurately in these matters.
The glorious New Jerusalem:
Upon the destruction of end-time Babylon, arises a new world, and a new magnificent city.
There is a fair amount still unknown about this incredible, miraculous, marvellous, wonderful, enormous city. But there is enough to blow your mind, and your socks off!
It is exclusively for believers... “Right of admission reserved”! It will have no slimy scribes!
The New Jerusalem is referred to as, ●the Tabernacle of God, ●the Holy City, ●the City of God, ●the Celestial City, ●the Heavenly Jerusalem, ●the Foursquare City. ●It will be the place “where righteousness dwells.” ●It will be fantastic in beauty, value, perfection dazzling in all ways. ●It will be lit by the glory of God, ●made of and filled with gold, silver, and jewels of great value. ●It will be a place of unimaginable blessing fully manifest. ●It will be full of incredible animals, birds, plants and spectacular angels and angelic beings. There is much, much more.
Babylon was a great city. But a heap of dung compared to the New Jerusalem. Babylon, like all man-made attempts at peace failed miserably because of it inherent, inborn, ingrained, genetic sin, wickedness and evil. It was man’s best effort. It was the world’s best effort – all cursed, doomed and then destroyed for its wickedness and godlessness.
One of the purposes of the tribulation period is to bring an end to all transgression and to bring in everlasting righteousness. (Daniel 9:24) Universal peace will result.
Hebrews 11:10 “By faith Abraham waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.”
Isaiah 9:7 “Of the increase of His government and peace, there will be no end...”
In the Millennium, our Lord will remove the curse on nature itself and create a new covenant for the whole of natural creation! How wonderful!
Hosea 2:18-19 “In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, with the birds of the air and with the creeping things on the ground...I will betroth you to Me forever...”
I talk a lot about humility, the cross, brokenness and the like – all necessary now. But we must not forget that God Himself will exalt us appropriately in His time.
Daniel 7:18, 22, 27 “The saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever...The time came for the saint to possess the kingdom...Then the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole of heaven shall be given to the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall obey and serve Him.”
Unspeakable great blessings are to be realised in the kingdom under the rule of Messiah with a mighty display of supernatural power, beyond anything imaginable, or within understanding of mortal man.
There will be pure glory, peace, rest, comfort, health, full knowledge of all things, the essence of wisdom, no more curse, sickness, war, oppression, injustice, violence or any such thing.
In the Millennium there be one pure, universal language and not before, as some sects teach. Zephaniah 3:8-9 “I will pour out My indignation and all My fierce anger and all the earth shall be devoured (tribulation)...For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language...”
The trumpet confirmed:
I rarely share this sort of thing, because of all the lying frauds out there, so I treat these things with suspicion. I’m generally not given to fancy visions and the like, but I most certainly don’t rule them out altogether. This is appropriate now.
A few months ago, I was awakened from my sleep at about 2am with a startling, loud, pure trumpet blast. I sat up suddenly, but there was no one around, and no identifiable source of the sound. It was not a dream, it was too vivid. I did share it with a few friends, but as the days went on, I shelved it.
A few days ago I was studying my Bible and came across this verse:
Jeremiah 6:1 “Gather yourselves to flee from the midst of Jerusalem! Blow the trumpet in Tekoa and set up a signal fire in Beth Haccerem. For disaster appears out of the north and great destruction.”
“Tekoa” is a small town just south of Jerusalem. But the word itself means “The trumpet is confirmed.”
On discovering that, I almost fell on my head! Instantly I knew what it meant for me. – WW111 is on the horizon!
I’m not setting a date, but I do believe that we are on the doorstep of great dramas – and they will break suddenly! I will share much more on this very soon – you will be startled!
God is building and restoring Israel. As He builds with His builders, there is a supernatural wall around His work.
Nehemiah 4:18 “Every one of the builders (of the wall of Jerusalem) had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me.”
What an amazing verse (above) Building with a sword at your side and a sounding trumpet!
We work with God’s fiery, two-edged sword at our side, as our guard, and His watchmen’s trumpet, raising our attention.
Jeremiah 23:29 “Is not My word like a fire? Says the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?”
How does world peace come?
The only hope for fast falling humanity and suffering environment is the judgement of God, destruction of evil and a new peaceful world of glory. The climax of evil is irreversible and the total destruction of sin is inevitable.
There are only two ways for world peace. One is through the peace of Babylon and the other through the peace of Jerusalem. The former excludes the cross of Calvary!
The peace of Jerusalem occurs when the Jews have recognised their Messiah - the crucified, risen Prince of peace - Yeshua HaMaschiach the anointed One.
To achieve the peace of Babylon (world), you must get rid of the cross and you must give Jerusalem to Islam and the world.
►I hope you see why Bible prophecy, the salvation of the Jews, Jewish Jerusalem, true Christians, and the cross of Calvary are all a detested anathema to the world and its god.
The world’s anti-Semites, and the church’s replacement theologians, are working hard for the peace of Babylon. But do they have a big, nasty surprise coming, or what!
World peace is coming by world war. We all want peace rather than war, but for any sort of enduring peace you must get rid of Satan and those whom he has infiltrated. That’s how it works.
Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks (tribulation period) are determined for your people (Jews) and your holy city (Jerusalem) to finish transgression, to make an end of sin...to bring in everlasting righteousness.”
Because mankind is a spiritual being, world religions play a part in everyone’s life, even the atheist. To create world peace, you must create world unity. All world religions would have to become one or fall under one leader. All religions without the cross can quite easily be brought together as one.
All their paths lead to god – Satan!
Almost all wars throughout history have been fought over land or religion.
Islam wants world peace, but through world Islamic domination and control. Interestingly, it is Satan who comes to kill, steal, destroy and lie. These are the tenets of Islam.
If you could have world peace, you must have a world boss! Who would that be?
The end purpose of world peace is to dominate and control the world and put down all resistance. The end purpose is for the world boss to receive worship. That is the ultimate goal of Satan!
You can’t have world peace with Israel being part of it, because God has His own unique plan for Israel and the salvation of the world through them after the veil has lifted.
2 Samuel 7:23 “Who is like Your people, like Israel, the one nation on earth whom God went to redeem for Himself as a people, to make for Himself a name and to do for you great and awesome deeds for your land – before Your people whom you redeemed for Yourself from Egypt and from the nations and their gods.”
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is in fact praying for the destruction of the world in the tribulation, because that is when peace comes to Jerusalem.
You will pay:
Everyone pays for sin! The unbeliever pays an unimaginably terrible price at the Great White Throne. Christians pay for sin through loss of reward at the judgement seat of Messiah.
You can choose your coming payment method! Be careful now – choose wisely! You can choose the payment our Lord made for your sins at Calvary, freely given to you by supernatural transfer. This payment transaction is completed at the judgement seat of Messiah, where rewards are distributed. Or you can choose the wrath of God as payment for sin and its accompanying Great White Throne judgement, with its “reward of hell.”
If you don’t choose, you have chosen – the wrong one!
Finally
“Don’t cry for me Argentina. The truth is I never left you.” Do cry for Babylon and thank God that you have left her!
Jeremiah 51:54-55 “The sound of a cry comes from Babylon and great destruction from the land, because the Lord is plundering Babylon and silencing her loud voice...”
Note well that the “loud voice” of Babylon, which can only be the mass-media of today, will soon be silenced in its destruction by our Lord. How great thou art, O Lord!
Pray for people in the world to see the world and leave it fast on the new-birth train. Be thankful and grateful for the grace you have and pray that your faith will stand securely in His glorious love.
I took the picture of the massive 3000yr old baobab tree in the Limpopo Province. It is no more. One night recently, it split down the middle fell over and died. It’s now in baobab heaven!
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
