The information highways:

Introduction:

We are all products of the information highway that we are on.

It was Clark Gable as Rhett in the 1939 classic movie, Gone with the Wind, who was the first to utter a swear word on the big screen. He famously said, “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn.” In those days, that was outrageous and caused a public stir.

I would like to presume that it was this event that signalled the world’s one giant step onto a slippery slope from which it can never recover.

That incident very quickly became acceptable and then the standard. Then the acceptable norm was stretched further and further, as the Bible was removed more and more, and now we’re in a world with no restraint, no biblical values or virtues, all in the name of human rights. But its human rights without God and His rights.

Evil, unchecked, will always advance, speaking great words of tolerance, until it is dominant. Because evil and error are spiritual forces they must always silence opposition to themselves as they gather momentum.

Psalm 74:20-23 “...For the dark places of the earth are full of the habitation of cruelty...The tumult of those who rise up against You, increases continually.”

Subtly, and un-announced, evil of all forms with no restraint is here. The people of the world blindly accept what the media highway decides is normal.

The great tragedy, which everyone will soon wake up to, is that “normal” has been decided for them by Satan, the godless standard setter, who is the god of this world.

Often when I look into the face of a complete stranger I wonder to myself if that person will go to heaven or hell.  Every time I look into the face of a CNN, SKY, BBC or other mass media anchor, I know I’m looking at someone destined for hell.

Sometimes I think...if only they knew. If only I could get them to see it!

Yes, some of them might get saved, but none will be secure in salvation if they remain a product of their media industry and bosses.

A very simple daily analogy is this: Almost everywhere there are escalators with one going up next to one going down. The same is evident on every highway – one lane goes one direction, right next to one going the other way.

This is a reflection of everyone’s lives. People are going one way or the other whether they admit it, know it, or not. Its heaven or hell and everyone is on one of those two highways.

Modern science, technology, medicine, education, communications, and just about every aspect of life has really advanced and matured, making our lives so much better and more convenient. But one thing modern man has not been able to improve, is the heart and morality of mankind.

Hearts can be fixed by heart surgeons, but the moral heart of man remains “desperately wicked” and is getting worse fast. (Jeremiah 17:9) The heart of fallen man pumps the sin-filled blood of Adam.

The highway to hell has upon it many, many more people than the highway to heaven.

How do I get onto the right highway?

To get onto the big highway to hell, with the great majority of people on it – do nothing.

To get onto the highway to heaven, you must make the conscious, wilful choice, get saved, which is free and then spend everything you have and are to keep going along the highway to heaven to the wonderful destination.

Don’t get me wrong, yes there is a heavy price to pay, but what you get in return is priceless beyond measure!

Check and guard your influences:

1 Corinthians 15:33 “Do not be deceived, evil company corrupts good habits.”

2 Corinthians 10:12 “We dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves, but they measuring themselves  by themselves and comparing themselves among themselves are not wise.”

John 12:43 “They loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.”

The fear or approval of men, friends, peers, or the world is a deadly force. It creeps up on you. A great big bull with a ring through its nose and rope tying it to a pole is going nowhere. The bull has the strength, to break free, but the nose-ring does the job. It’s too sore to pull away, so it stays put.

That’s just like far too many people. They are attached to opinions of man, the ways of the world and the group-speak of the media and they can’t break free because it’s too sore for their ego and pride.

The highway to heaven has you attached by a nose-ring to God and His truth, but the spectacular difference is that it reforms, reconstructs and changes you into a glorious instrument of the living God.

The world’s nose-ring is dirty, evil, sin-filled, wicked and tormenting. God’s nose-ring is a graceful, majestic, pure, instrument of wonderful transformation into holiness.

Proverbs 13:20 “He who walks with wise men shall be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed.

Psalm 26:4-5 “I have not sat with idolatrous mortals (people), nor will I go in with hypocrites. I have hated the congregation of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked.”

John 5:41 “I do not receive honour from men.”

Acts 5:29 “We ought to obey God rather than men.”

Too many measure themselves among and by themselves instead of the entire pure doctrine of the Bible itself.

Psalm 119:160 “The entirety of Your word is truth, and every one of your righteous judgements endures forever.”

Too many are products of their church minister and the church denominations and divisions, none of which are of God. (1Corinthians 1:10-11)

The calling of The Prophetic Scroll:

 

This publication is an information highway. It’s loved by most readers and hated by some. It is designed to fill many missing gaps in today’s modern ministries. It’s aimed at your head and your heart! It’s designed to stand as a ministry of watching and warning relating to all things prophetic and more as our Lord leads.

Part of the call is to present the Spirit of truth to today’s world and attack the spirit of error.

Part of the call of The Prophetic Scroll is to offer the stability of the truth. It is to present the knowledge of what’s going on and why and how to find your way to victory. It is to dispel and cast out fear with knowledge and understanding of the truth, led by the Spirit of God.

Part of the call is to look for repeating patterns in history, signs, numbers, dates and more all as the Spirit leads. It is to deal effectively with the 27% of the Bible which constitutes prophecy – and much more.

The call:

●To be on the cutting edge of all things prophetic as revealed in the scriptures.

●To feed you with this rare food.

●To help you prepare for eternity, not just in terms of salvation, but eternal reward.

●It is to attack, criticise, warn, and rebuke the great errors of our day. It is to come strongly against the works of the devil in many false doctrines. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

●It is to confront and clash with religion, the biggest lie of the age and to warn others to flee.

●It is to say what the Holy Spirit is saying now in these critical days. It is to present the depths of the love of God in biblical goodness and severity.

●It is to be straight, honest and personal with no airy fairy, wishy-washy, half-baked hogwash in these perilous times.

●Above all it is to present the offence of the cross in your face, so that you can only accept it or reject it.

●It is to identify, stand with and walk with other watchmen as led by the Spirit.

1 Chronicles 26:16 (Temple Gatekeepers) “...At the West Gate, on the ascending highway you shall have watchmen opposite watchmen.”

If you have “watchmen opposite watchmen” you fill in the gaps. What one does not see the other will, so you will have full, well-rounded coverage and insights into the things of God.

The call of the Prophetic Scroll to Israel:

This part of the call is to stand with and make known God’s word to Israel in these days. It is to stand with Israel and to come against their enemy, as our own.

Israel is the only nation on earth with a direct clear title deed from God to ownership of the land and city. This is one of the reasons why they are hated with a supernatural hatred.

The deepest and longest hate campaign in the world is against the Jews. It is so because it is also the deepest and longest love story in the world, with soon-coming great and dramatic results!

The central key verses of this section of the calling are:

***Ezekiel 3:17 “I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel, hear My word and give warning for Me.”

***Esther 4:14 “For if you remain silent at this time; deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for a time such as this?”

***Isaiah 62:1 “For Zion’s sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth like brightness and her salvation as a lamp that burns.”

Very soon there will be great danger, terror and judgement upon all who oppose and come against God’s work with Israel today. Almost the whole world will be on the receiving end! Many churches, even some ministers reading these words, are about to be cut off by God ahead of the terror that awaits them.

The future of the BDS Movement and everyone in the camp of replacement theology are in for the greatest shock they will ever have. It will send shudders of shock, through them. It will soon be too late for them to change course.

Isaiah 41:11 “Behold, all those who were incensed against you (Israel) shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish.”

Psalm 129:5 “Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.”

What to me is simply outrageous and tragically funny is to hear so many ministers proclaim that they are Bible believers, blessed by God, doing His work while at the same time proclaiming replacement theology or support for the BDS Movement or other anti-Semitic activity.

They are blessed alright – blessed of the devil himself.

What is your life?

Do all roads in your life lead to the cross? Is self, the world and the demonic crucified in your life?

The most important question you can ever ask yourself is the same question God will ask you! “What is your life?”

Psalm 144:3-4 “Lord what is man that You take knowledge of him? Or the son of man that You are mindful of him? Man is like a breath; his days are like a passing shadow.”

Yes our lives are like a breath and passing shadow, but this is in terms of time in the universal, eternal scale of things. We have the opportunity now to create eternal jewels out of “shadows” and pure gold out of “breath”.

Colossians 3:4 “When Messiah who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”

Why are so many careless and unconcerned about their eternal state and spiritual lives, when truth is actually so exciting, revolutionary and radical? It’s because their leaders, church, peers or close friends are spiritually lukewarm or dead!

When dealing with spiritual issues there is no neutrality.

If you as a minister present a half truth, or half of the gospel, the other half will be filled with presumption and error.

Ephesians 5:15-16 “See that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Proverbs 19:8 “He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who keeps (acquires) understanding will find good.”

Proverbs 15:24 “The way of life winds upwards for the wise; that he may turn away from hell below.”

Why it’s all so important today:

It’s always important to have spiritual eyesight and know where you are and what’s going on. But there is one point in time identified in scripture as the most decisive and critical time ever in history and that is now.

We all get the news from our choices of media. The mass media is the only place we can get world news from. Receiving pure hard news from these sources is fine, but we dare not receive into our hearts the opinion-reports.

If you know your Bible well as taught by the Holy Spirit, you will see how deceived mass-media news anchors are. You will have a true measure of all things in your heart and you will not fall for the garbage-opinions of the media.

If you are ignorant of the Bible, you have no measuring standard, and you are in a world of variables where anything goes. You are then gullible and open to being led and formed by the devil-led opinions of the media.

Bear in mind that the mass-media has to keep itself in business and make itself believable.  Bear in mind also that the opinions of the media are in fact the opinions of their bosses and their boss-Satan. Don’t underestimate the power of the media.

All forms and sources of input into your heart must be filtered through and measured by the word of God and the living Holy Spirit.

I’ve shared this many times before, here it comes again:

In the ancient Greek the word “hoopocrites” is the origin of the word “hypocrite”. The “hoopocrite” was the person in ancient theatre, who would come onto the stage to introduce the next act. If it was to be a tragedy, he would wear the reverse-smile mask. If a comedy, he would wear the smiley mask. We still have these two masks today representing theatre. But, the real meaning of the word is the person behind the mask is not the same as the mask.

The biblical original word “kosmokratos” means “world power”. It is used to describe Satan.

It is Satan who is the world power, the original “hoopocrite” wearing a smiley mask or a tragedy mask. He is the world power behind the masks. He is not the same as the masks. He is the true hypocrite, the master of camouflage.

Satan is so clearly seen as this world power and “hoopocrite” in the mass media.

One day we will all stand before the living God in judgement, not some swine media boss or reporter. Your eternal destination and your eternal reward-state, depends on which highway you are on.

Bear in mind that truth and error often travel the same highway with error camouflaged as truth.

Truth and error are not matters of opinion. They are not matters of some private interpretation. Have you ever listened to critics of the truth declare that it’s all a matter of interpretation and opinion – fools! Next time you hear that take note that the next thing out of that person’s mouth will be support for the devil.

We are on a narrow highway of and to the beauty of holiness righteousness and purity. Most are on the wide-road, the highway to hell!

***Isaiah 5:14-16 “Sheol (hell) has enlarged itself and opened its mouth beyond measure....”

***Isaiah 14:9-11 “Hell from beneath is excited about you, to meet you at your coming; It stirs up the dead for you, all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. They all shall speak and say to you: ‘Have you become as weak as us? Your pomp (pride) is brought down to Sheol (hell).’”

The dark, deadly highway:

The verse below (and others like it) speaks of a frightening time that lies ahead:

John 9:4 “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.”

The majority of this will be fulfilled in the tribulation period, but we could see a fair amount beforehand.

What event could prevent the gospel from going out? It could be mass government control. It could be the results of an EMP attack. It could be a result of any number of large geo-political events. Let’s remember that Satan is alive and well and is intensifying his works in these days, because he knows his time is just about up. (Revelation 12:12)

The big bottom line is, are you ready? Do you know our Lord and His word? Do you know how to stand against the devices of the devil?

The true, full, undiluted gospel is the super, super-highway! It is the greatest and most powerful source of all truth, righteousness and holiness. Church doctrine is a highway as well, but the way the gospel is treated, cut, edited and selected is where the problems lie.

My friends, the kingdom of God is so much bigger, larger, deeper and richer than any church and its doctrine.

Of course churches are fine that see themselves as part of this giant enormous kingdom rather than through churchy tunnel vision.

The deadly media:

Today the mass media is a different animal. It is deadly dangerous. It operates in your life in what we call gradualism. Little bit by little bit, it changes your beliefs and values.

►You must know and understand how the spirit of antichrist works. It must come against and replace the true Messiah, and then the door is open for the false Messiah. That’s how replacement theology works. It comes against the truth that God has a wonderful plan for the Jews and then it replaces them with the church. That is also how anti-Semitism works. It comes against God’s plan for Israel and then replaces Israel with the Arabs / Palestinians.

That, my friends is just how the mass media works today. It comes against the truth then fills it in with all their satanic deceit, lies, presumptions and garbage.

Don’t underestimate this...don’t do it!

Finally:

I’ve said this a dozen time recently. I don’t know exactly what is coming and exactly when, but I have a very strong inner witness, feeling that something big is about to break on the world prophetic front.

I’m not one who goes around saying, “the Lord told me”. But I know when I have this strong inner witness in my heart, not to ignore it. It’s always right.

Now is the time to stand strong. Now is the time to fully surrender all aspects of your lives to our Lord. Don’t wait till the shaking starts. Do it now.

Proverbs 27:19 “...A man’s heart reveals the man.”

I took this picture of the giant Makuku Makete Baobab tree, some 3000 years old in one of our private game reserves. That’s my niece, to offer some perspective. This tree had a 40m circumference! This tree and many others in the area are no more. They died due to local drought.
