Fixing for a fight – Countdown to WW111:

Introduction:

The yet to be fulfilled big biblical wars of Isaiah 17, Ezekiel 38 &39 and Psalm 83 are all on the horizon!

All three of these huge wars have certain similar characteristics and one all important constituent which is currently missing.

The Bible does not give us the exact timing of these wars, but it does give many important clues as to when the world will be at war again and why.

These three wars contain some verses that imply that they could take place just before the tribulation begins. Other verses indicate that they will take place in “the Day of the Lord.” This is a well known and accepted title for the entire tribulation period. Some people include the “birth pangs” and forerunners in the “Day of the Lord.”

Whichever way you look at it, it’s not far off now.

I’m dealing with these three wars in this edition, but keep in mind the other coming conflicts I have been writing about of late could break anytime now.

These include the Ukraine / Russia conflict still simmering, the Muslim migrants awaiting their “jihad” instruction. And just about the whole of the Middle East.

The three wars:

The three wars which make up the campaign of WW111 are: ●The war of Psalm 83. ●The war of Isaiah 17 (Damascus / Syria), and: ●The war of Ezekiel 38 & 39 (Gog & Magog). These wars are listed separately and have slightly different characteristics so they will most probably be distinctly separate from each other, although they may run into each other or overlap to some degree. They have enough similar characteristics to look at them collectively and call them, “the campaign of WW111 (not Armageddon).

If they occur separately, they will not be far apart in time.

Some of the characteristics:

I encourage you to study the verses relating to these wars yourself. So, I’m not going to go through each verse, as I look at the similar characteristics.

Also, please read and study the surrounding chapters to give you the context.

●The attackers are all enemies of God and of Israel. They “hate you- Israel” and they hate God.

●They all desire to destroy Israel and “cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more.”

●One of their aims is to plunder the goods of Israel including agricultural and livestock products. This may well include oil and gas from the new massive gas fields. (These gas fields are now estimated to be three times larger than originally thought.)

●These enemies of Israel are all of Arab descent and are Muslim. Both Muslim sects, Shia and Sunni are represented.

●These enemies of Israel and God are all accompanied by the nations of the world. In today’s terms this would be the UN, EU, NATO or numerous individual nations.

●The children of Israel will cause “desolation” to these their enemies. The “day of destruction” will be a “day of grief and desperate sorrow.”

● “Woe” is declared to the multitude of nations who join Israel’s enemies in these wars. “They will flee like the whirlwind.” “They will be no more”. “This will be the portion of those who plunder us (Israel.”)

●Some people will “look to their maker” and call on the Holy One of Israel, implying salvation as a result of these conflicts.

The missing constituent:

It is Israel. But this missing constituent is in the wings awaiting its entrance. Yes there have been skirmishes already, but Israel is not yet on the stage as it is revealed in these prophecies. Israel could be drawn in if attacked or enter the fray in a very short period of time. She is ready and waiting. In fact Israel could be active in these wars literally within minutes.

Many observe that Damascus is already a “ruinous heap” thus fulfilling the Isaiah 17 prophecy. Not so. The current war in Syria has nothing to do with Israel right at the moment. She is the chief attacker and victor.

Israel’s secret weapon:

America, hang your head in shame. China, you are no match. Britain you are nothing. NATO your weapons are junk. Iran, you are useless. Russia your bear is a dead rat. Arab nations, you will be blown to smithereens.

If I left out your nation, this should cover it:  All nations- your military might is as significant as a squashed flea!

Israel’s secret weapon is impenetrable, and indestructible. It is always loaded. It endures forever and is all-powerful.

It is the word of the living God backed by God Himself.  God’s servant in these wars is Israel, His “battle axe” (Jeremiah 50:21). Arab’s Christians and world leaders, if you think you can defeat and bring down Israel; you need to defeat God and His word. You giant idiot!

Deuteronomy 33: 29 “Happy are you O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the shield of your help and the sword of your majesty! Your enemies shall submit to you, and you shall tread down their high places (Lit=of pagan worship.)”

The “final solution” is coming. For untold billions it will be a huge surprise. Israel will be the victor!

Obama let me rub this in your face: Israel will be the victor and you the loser. David Cameron, let me flaunt this in your face: Israel and their God will be the victor and you the loser. Merkel, let me hang this banner in front of you: The Jews will be the victors and you, Germany, will come bowing to them!

Now let’s look into God’s amazing, deadly secret weapon! (I have spoken of this in a few previous editions some years ago, but it is now becoming very relevant.)

God’s secret nuclear weapon:

Zechariah 5:2-11 “He said to me, “what do you see?” I answered and said, “A flying scroll, its length is twenty cubits and its width is ten cubits.” Then he said to me, “This is the curse that goes out over the whole earth: Every thief shall be expelled, according to what is on the side of the scroll and every perjurer shall be expelled.” I will send out the curse says the Lord of hosts; it shall enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears falsely by my name. It shall remain in the house and consume it, with its timber and stones. Lift your eyes and see what this is that goes forth. A basket goes forth. This is their resemblance throughout the whole earth. Here is a lead disc lifted up and there is a woman sitting inside the basket. This is wickedness and he thrust her back into the basket and threw the lead cover over its mouth. Then I looked and there were two women coming with the wind in their wings, for they had wings like the wings of a stork and they lifted up the basket between the heaven and the earth. So I asked the angel, where are they carrying the basket? So he said to me to build a house for it in the land of Shinar when it is ready, the basket will be set there on its base.”

Now, let’s have a look into the original Hebrew words used in these verses. Hebrew is a language where words have different meanings sometimes. We have to go into the context to get the right ones. These verses were written some 2500 years ago, so the prophets used words and terms that they were familiar with back then.

● Zechariah uses the term a “flying scroll”. The word used here is Megillah (Strong’s H4039) which is a metal cylindrical container with a cap on it. It is used to contain the scroll of God’s word. But here we see that it is very big and it flies and goes out over the whole earth. This Megillah is 20 cubits by 10 cubits. The 10 cubits here is the circumference and not diameter.

The image below shows the normal megillah (bottom right) that contains God’s word in scroll form. The image also shows the dimensions of the megillah mentioned in Zechariah and a Trident intercontinental ballistic missile. These flying nuclear bombs are what is being referred to by Zechariah, through the eyes of his understanding back then.

●The next important word we must understand is “curse.” The original word used by the prophet for “curse” is the Hebrew word “alah”. It is spelled like that and is used in a few other places. It means to swear or curse, and is also used in association with foreign gods. The resemblance to “Allah” and Islam by extension is not coincidental!

●Next we see the people involved. These are thieves and those who swear falsely by the Lord’s name. Well, now we have very wide application. The thieves could refer to Islam’s attempted theft of the land of Israel. Those who swear by the Lord’s name covers just about the whole world!

●Note that the curse “remains afterwards.”  This implies that it has some sort of residue that will remain after it consumes timber and stone. This is most certainly in line with nuclear destruction and the radiation aftermath.

●Then we see aflying basket: The word used for basket is, “epha”. This word simply means “a container”

●Now we see a woman in the basket. The original word used here for “woman” is, “Ishah (Strong’s H801). Interestingly this word means either “fire offering” or “woman”.  (Strong’s H892). You need to use the context to see which one is right. The fire offering here is said to be “wickedness”. I think the results of a fiery nuclear war will most certainly fit that bill. “A fire offering” in Strong’s can also be translated as “fiery sacrifice,” which is the same as the meaning of the word “Holocaust”.

●The lead disc: This strange flying metal cylinder containing a fiery sacrifice is topped with a lead disc. Many nuclear weapons are encased in lead to prevent exposure to radioactivity while the bomb is being handled and prepared and to prevent radiation leaks from the fuel.

●Now the prophet looks again and sees two women (fire offerings) in a container with wind in their wings, being lifted up between heaven and earth. This applies to the outer atmosphere which is the domain of intercontinental missiles.

●Finally we see the container of the fiery offering brought to a house in the land of Shinar to await its launch from a “base.”

Shinar is Babylon, if you look it up. This most certainly does not apply to the original city of Babylon.

This is obviously applying to modern “Babylon the great” which throughout the Revelation is a type of the world system, with the US as head of the world.

Let’s now summarise this whole section and see what come up with:

►Zechariah sees a long thin flying metal container with a lead top to it. This container is associated with a curse that covers the whole earth. It is delivered upon thieves (criminals or Muslims who try to take Israel) and those who swear falsely by the Lord’s name.

The metal cylinders contain a “fiery offering or sacrifice”, lifted up between heaven and earth. It has some sort of residue that causes it to “remain.” on wood and stone. They are stored in many nations until needed.

A note to the post-tribulation rapture crowd: You will go through all of this and you will not be protected as you think. May I take this opportunity to wish you well and lots of luck! You will be experiencing nuclear war firsthand. “Comfort one another with those words” as you are blown to pieces and burnt by nuclear fire!

How interesting that God would use the word “megillah”, which is the very container of the scroll of His holy word to deliver His judgement on those who have rejected His holy word for Israel!

Here is another verse implying nuclear conflict. The context here is Jerusalem, Israel and the Jews.

Zechariah 14:12 “This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all people who fought against Jerusalem. Their flesh will dissolve while they stand on their feet, their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets and their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.” Again to the post - tribulation rapture crowd – “Comfort on another with those words.”

An amazing thing:

What never ceases to amaze me is the ignorance and stupidity of coming against the living God and His word.

Most people would think Obama is well educated. Most would think David Cameron is a clever individual. Most would think the numerous ministers of the European nations are intelligent. Most would think the leaders of the Arab world are intelligent. Most would think the leaders of all the churches of the various forms of replacement theology are wise shepherds.

Most are as stupid as these people themselves are!

Imagine participating in a war in which the outcome is spelt out in Bible prophecy and it shows your total doom and destruction?

►This is the end of Psalm 83. It is addressed to the entire confederacy of nations that join the Arab nations in war against Israel:

Psalm 83:13-17 “O my God make them like whirling dust...as the fire burns the wood, so pursue them with Your tempest, and frighten them with Your storm. Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name. Let them be confounded and dismayed forever. Let them perish.”

►Here is the end of the Isaiah 17 prophecy addressed to multitude of nations that will be involved in this war:

Isaiah 17:12-14 “Woe to the multitude of many people who make a noise like the roar of the sea and to the rushing of nations that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters...But God will rebuke them and they will flee far away and be chased like the chaff...then in the morning he (they) will be no more. That is the portion of those who plunder us (Israel).

►Here is the end of the Ezekiel 38 & 39 prophecy addressed to multitudes of nations who will be involved in this war:

Ezekiel 38:21-23 “I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My Mountains, says the Lord God. Everyman’s sword will be against his brother. I will bring him to judgement with pestilence and bloodshed. I will rain down on him and his troops and on many people’s (nations) who are with him, flooding rain great hailstones fire and brimstone.”

Ezekiel 39 continues with the theme of destruction upon the nations of the world that collectively came against Israel in this great war. “You will fall upon the mountains of Israel and I will give you to the birds of prey...I will send fire upon you. It will take seven years to clean up and burn the weapons used. For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land.”

Do you see the consistent theme of destruction upon those who come against God and His word for Israel?

So then, how can these world leaders have any intelligence at all? Their doom is spelt out clearly. It will happen just as it says right here! I wonder how many troops and civilian deaths these world leaders will be responsible for.

Churches of replacement theology and BDS, you will be as guilty as Hitler when you side with the military attempts to destroy Israel. You and your leader Satan and the mass-media will soon meet up with Hitler – you can hang your heads together with him!

Military manoeuvres:

Right now we have a huge, never before seen military exercise taking place in Saudi Arabia called “Northern thunder.” More than 25 nations are involved simultaneously. These just happen to be the nations mentioned in Daniel 11 relating to the “King of the South”. This is a rehearsal, a joint exercise, but for what? We will all know pretty soon won’t we!

It’s not long now!

We don’t have the exact timing of these things, but we do know that it has to all begin very shortly. So many ducks are lining up in a row right now. You have to be blind or uninformed not to see it all.

We may see the start of these wars within days, or months. Years...I think not!

My friends, someone is going to hit the “big red button” very soon and the world’s most exciting times will begin to roll.

The prophets of old looked forward to these times with anticipated excitement.

Finally:

It doesn’t really matter exactly how these things will all play out. What does matter more than anything else ever is...are you ready spiritually?

You must tear down your inner connections to the world system. You must “come out (of the world system) and be separate”. You must understand that you can do it again, get ready, repent, study God’s word and all those things, up to the point that you step into eternity. Then it’s all over and done. No going back then. No second chances then.

If you are newly saved or a returning prodigal, I have some very good news for you. The Bible talks about the last being first! Do you want to jump the queue and get right to the front? If you have thrown your life away, throw yourself at the feet of our Lord – you will have a great entrance to the eternal kingdom of God.

Judgement is the safest most loving thing. It divides between right and wrong, truth and error. It separates between the holy and the unholy. But we as believers have the incredible opportunity of “judging ourselves now so that we won’t be judged.”

We have the spectacular opportunity of getting ready and being ready for eternity right now. What a privilege to be found judged and examined now while the unsaved will be found wanting as the they are judged at the Great White Throne of our Lord and cast into hell because they rejected God’s free gift of salvation through cross of Messiah. They left it too late!

I took this picture at the edge of the giant Etosha salt pan, 120 kilometres long in Namibia. This surreal place gives one the feeling of desolation, which is just what is coming to this world! Etosha means “The Great White Place”. It is teaming with wildlife. It’s totally awesome – one of my favourite places to get lost in!
