- Due to the fast changing prophetic news environment, check back here for any new or urgent updates that are important.
- The signing of the Abrahamic Accord at the White House later today is of no prophetic consequence on its own. Collectively with others it does have significance, but not Daniel 9:27
- Iraq (the home of Babylon) is reported to be lining up to make peace with Israel.
- There will be no talk of, or deal relating to the Temple Mount at this signing.
- Iran and friends threaten missile attack on Israel and the UAE because of their new friendship.

Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose of this report is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah.
18th September 2020
Shabbat Shalom to all!
Watch the watchmen:
But first: Rabbi Jonathan Cahn’s prayer meeting, “The Return” will be held on the Washington Mall, Washington DC, on the 26th September. This day is known as Shabbat Shuvah. Interestingly the Bible reading for the day is, “Return O Israel, to the Lord your God.”(Hosea 14:2-10 Micah 7: 18-20 Joel 2:15-27) It’s all centred on a global call for the church to return to the ways of God, and for Israel’s return to Messiah.
Today is the beginning of Rosh Hashanah / Feast of Trumpets, depending on the sighting of the new moon. ●This is NOT the rapture time and start of the tribulation.
The current peace efforts between Israel and some Arab nations is NOT the final antichrist peace deal - not by any means. What they are is incremental peace efforts.
This is NOT the “peace and safety, then sudden destruction” verse coming about. That verse relates to the Daniel 9:27 peace deal and the tribulation.
But these things collectively are important in that they present a new dawn for the Middle East. The knock-on effects and influence of these peace efforts are causing others to want to jump on the band wagon too.
Because these are such critical and dangerous times, this is a more important time than ever to be led correctly by men of God who are led by the Spirit and have a history of accuracy and stability. There are many amongst the riff raff.
So many wannabe watchmen and teachers are leading people astray with inaccurate, wrong pronouncements. Some are so outrageous! A watchman of the Lord is not one who watches for possibilities. He knows where to look and what to watch for and is led by the Spirit of God, therefore he is right.
I was given some “100% for sure” information in charts and numbers and various things as to why this would be the rapture time – for sure 100%! It didn’t sit right. When checking it out myself nothing added up!
Because a blind, always-wrong watchman says something is a sign; that does not make it so, by any means.
Being wrong destroys your authority and credibility, and damages the prophetic word and the faith of others, especially new believers.
Being wrong on major biblical things means one thing for sure – absolutely: You have not heard from God and you speak your own opinions.
The Spirit led teacher / watchman will have a history of godly stability and is therefore trustworthy.
Discernment is more critical than ever in the face of fast growing deception.
Ezra 3:13 (Temple rebuilt) “The people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people...”
Error becomes an immovable mountain if not dealt with, because it is formed and secured on the pillar of pride.
Spirit led, and inspired knowledge, understanding and wisdom endures and produces godly fruit.
One way to know a false teacher: When brought to correction, they will turn on you because you won’t join them in propping up their pride!
The Spirit of God in your heart is the umpire. He brings peace when you are on the right track. But you need the baptism of the Spirit. If not your umpire is you, yourself.
The condition of the end-time church:
There is a powerful prophetic message for the end-time church hidden in the messages to the seven churches in Revelation 2 & 3. They were seven historic churches. All seven contain truth for us, but prophetically, they also plot the course of church history.
The first three churches, Ephesus, Smyrna and Pergamos speak of the times gone by. The last four plot the course of the end time church and run concurrently. They are Thyatira, representing the Catholic and other orthodox churches. (They are cast into the tribulation) Sardis is the church that has a “name to live but is dead”. They are told that Lord will come upon them as a thief and they won’t know when! This represents the denominational Spirit-less churches. (With a few exceptions) Then comes the glorious church – the church of Philadelphia. They have the key of David, opening the doors to the Jews. (Isaiah 22:22) This church keeps the word and is promised to be kept out of the tribulation. Finally we have the lukewarm church of Laodicea, which is spiritually blind. God “vomits them out of His mouth.” “Laodicea”: Strong’s G2993, “Laodikeia” From two root words: ‘Laos’ = people and ‘Dike’ =Ruling. This is the people ruled” or “people/self opinionated church.
The pictures below show all that remains of Laodicea today. The Spirit of God flew away from this church and God spat them out of His mouth. (Revelation 3:16) The pillars still standing represent truth, but all else is gone.
1 Timothy 3:15 (Amp) “You know how people must conduct themselves in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and stay – the prop and support of the truth.”
So, what we see here is a very powerful and accurate picture of the end-time church. Some of it is the walking dead. Some are a horror of evil. Some are cast into the tribulation, spat out and condemned. And right in the midst is the church who keeps and loves the word and is pro-Israel.
Bear in mind that there is a terrible, tragic church and a glorious, growing powerful church side by side in these days. Don’t get tunnel vision for just one side of the coin.
The Bible speaks of a great end-time revival (the latter rain) in the last days. (Joel 2:23, Hosea 6:3) and in many other verses.
A major prophetic mark of the times is increasing deception in the church. You can’t have increasing deception without increasing deceivers and that’s where the problem lies.
Satan used deception to try to stamp out the early church because he knew it would wreck his kingdom. Now we have the same scenario again. Sometimes you have to be severe in your dealings.
Acts 13:9-11 “Then Saul, also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit looked intently at him and said, ‘O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all unrighteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? And now indeed the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time, and immediately a dark mist fell upon him...”
It is most important to know prophetic things to come, but also the timing of those things, to avoid deception. You must see with spiritual eyes today.
A Spirit-led and inspired watchman / teacher is always restrained in what he sees and says. He is led by the restrainer.
We are now at the start of the new Hebrew year 5781. It will end and change to 5782 on Rosh Hashanah 2021. That is September 7th - 8th 2021. That’s a very important date!!
This year, 5781 is going to be year like no other. It’s going to be a wild time of stress, strain and pressure. But in the midst there will be islands of peace amongst the pillars of truth.
The good news is that we are on the verge of great revival. We are seeing it in many nations of the east. Of course there will always be churches deteriorating and dying.
Many of those who have gone off into a ditch will repent and return. Many will continue to slip and slide further away.
As we enter the beginning of these wild times, I want to assure you that The Prophetic Scroll will be your place of spiritual stability and rest.
Edition 538: September 8th 2020.
Trumpets now or next!
The rapture, now or then!
Regular readers know that I (and many others) maintain that the rapture will take place on a Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah). In fact I have maintained that it is impossible for it to take place at any other time. Of course the big question is which Feast of Trumpets?
I began my journey into the Feasts of the Lord when I was about 2 years old! I grew up in a Jewish neighbourhood. My mother taught in a Hebrew nursery school, so I was thrust into Hebraic culture from the day dot. The fridge was often full of gefilter fish! But it really all came alive to me in the early 80s.
So the feasts are nothing new to me. I have shared on their importance since TPS began.
We are ten days away and closing in fast on this year’s two-day event.
It is still possible for us to fly away this Feast of Trumpets, but it is increasingly less likely.
The all important dispensation transition:
The seven feasts are in fact an astonishing, miraculous picture-type of the major world prophetic peaks. They reveal the great dispensation changes from the Old Covenant to the New, back to the culmination of the Old Covenant as seen in the seven year tribulation, and then the transition to the dispensation of the Millennium.
But here is the all-important, severe and critical point: The feasts annihilate and destroy anti-Semites and “Christians” in replacement theology!
Passover, Unleavened bread, Firstfruits and Pentecost, were prophetically fulfilled by the work of the cross, through to resurrection and the church age. These collectively relate to the church.
The Feast of Trumpets through Atonement to Tabernacles relates primarily to Jewish time, and the events of the tribulation, leading to the Millennium. (See diagram below.)
Many say that all the feasts were prophetically fulfilled by the church. You are then saying that the last three feasts (in blue below) have no required fulfilment by Israel. You are simply replacing Israel with the church, making you a pure proponent of cursed replacement theology.
We are now on the very doorstep of the great transition, just like the seasons, from one dispensation to the next. The big question now is: Are you truly saved?
The professing, confessing, non-born again, so-called Christians who will be left behind at the rapture will suddenly be faced with their most heart-wrenching question ever: “Why me? I’m not a Jew or a Muslim; I’m a Christian, why was I left behind?”
The rapture will reveal what real salvation is and isn’t. It will reveal how far from repentance the left-behind crowd are. It will reveal who truly loves the Lord and His word. It will reveal in an instant the shocking truth of God’s word. It will reveal who has sold their soul to the devil, knowingly or not.
Many Christian leaders say that the feasts are for the Jews and we have our own convocations, like Christmas and Easter. Of course they don’t know the origin of their pagan convocations. They were founded by the early Catholic church and introduced to keep the Jews out of the church.
The command of God is to make the Jews jealous and to take the gospel to them first, not keep them from the church! (Romans 1:16, 10:19)
Isaiah 57:14 “...Prepare the way, take the stumbling block out of the way of My people.”
The Bible speaks of one of the beasts of Daniel (Rome) being given power to deceive by changing times and seasons. This would refer to changing the Gregorian (Catholic) calendar, changing the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday and the introduction of Babylonian Christmas and Easter.
I was listening to a Messianic Rabbi the other day, bemoaning the terrible curse the church has inflicted on the Jews, by removing the feasts and replacing them with the pagan festivals of Easter and Christmas. He said there were very few Jews in Israel that would ever identify with and participate in these Babylonian pagan practises.
Jews had already been in Babylonian captivity once before!
Christians who participate in and support Christmas and Easter are participating in paganism. They do so because their good friend, the world does so very well.
The church has an amazing blind-spot in this area. The blind-spot has developed over time into a belief-bias. They think that Christmas and Easter are of God.
They have fallen for the group-speak of the world. Tragically, group-speak becomes group-permission and belief!
Here is one of many verses that kicks group-speak in the head:
2 Corinthians 10:12 “We dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves, but they, measuring themselves by themselves and comparing themselves among themselves are not wise.”
The verse below is the glorious opposite of the world’s group-speak, belief, and blind-spot bias:
Jeremiah 6:16-17 “Stand in the paths and see, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it, then you will find rest for your souls...They said, ‘we will not listen to the watchmen.’”
When Israel returns to the Lord, they will be pure and holy!
Zephaniah 1:4 “...Against the inhabitants of Jerusalem, I will cut off every trace of Baal from this place, the names of the idolatrous priests, with the pagan priests.” (Baal = pagan, Babylonian custom.)
Some key names and terms for the Feast of Trumpets:
The feast begins on one of two possible days, when the new moon is sighted. It is therefore called the feast of which no one knows the day or hour.
If I said to you that the rapture / tribulation start will occur on a Feast of Trumpets, I cannot be setting a day or hour!
Anyone who says the rapture will take place on a Feast of Trumpets can’t be accused of date-setting!
The feast takes place in the “twinkling of eye.” This is a Hebrew idiom referring to that brief time when the sun sets over the horizon, producing a last twinkling. Do you see the relevance?
The feast is also known as: The opening of the gates of heaven. (Psalm 118:19-20, Isaiah 26:2, Revelation 3:7) But Israel remains on earth to fulfil the final feasts prophetically, so who are the gates of heaven opened for? Hmmmm, I wonder!
The Feast of Trumpets always occurs on Tishrei 1st, the beginning of the Hebrew New Year. The word “Tishrei” means dissolving sins. It also means “you shall begin.” It is the time of the ultimate new beginning for Israel and the church in their new bodies and new locale – faaaaar away!
This feast is also known as the feast that confuses the devil, because of its variable starting date.
There are many more incredible factors, parallels and types. You will find some of them under the link on the right, headed “Editions by subject” and “Feasts of the Lord.”
The timing of the rapture / tribulation start:
Romans 11:25-26 “I do not desire brethren that you be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel, UNTIL the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And then all Israel will be saved.”
The word used for “come in” is Strong’s G1525: “Eiserchomai”. Meanings: To go into, as food enters the mouth; To arise and come into a new existence; To come to life.
We can write the verse this way: “Blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles (church) has gone in the rapture. And then all Israel will be saved...”
It is Israel that comes to life, and the church that comes to a new resurrection life – fully completed for ever!
The prophet Habakkuk asked the Lord: ‘How long, O lord, until these things (violence and treachery of the wicked) come about?’”
Habakkuk 2:2-3 “The Lord said, ‘write the vision and make it plain on the tablets that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak and will not lie...’”
We see that we can know the time. Note the Lord’s answer: “It will speak and not lie.”
That simply means that we are to wait until He speaks or shows us.
The Lord may speak within the next few days leading up to Trumpets. I am listening. I am also not going to lie and make up all sorts of things to make a case, when the Lord is silent on the issue right now.
Only the remnant few will be ready and go in the rapture. Many who think they are saved are not!
The glory of the Feast of Trumpets:
It is the only feast that recognises and identifies the end of the times of the Gentiles and the start of the time for the Jews.
It is the only feast that effectively condemns replacement theology.
The hidden gems in this ancient feast are truly marvellous and quite shocking for those who have been kept in the dark about it all by their church leaders.
The Feast of Trumpets is marked by 100 trumpet blasts in various patterns. The trumpet is the shofar. Some of these shofar blasts represent:
●The anniversary of the creation of the world. ●A call to repentance. ●Hearing God’s voice. ●Calling to Messiah to come quickly. ●The day of judgement to start. ●The ingathering of Israel. ●The awakening of the dead.
Have a look at this amazing, prophetic verse below. Note that masses will come to worship on the Temple Mount. That should tell you a thing or two about the future of the Mount!
Isaiah 27:13 “In that day, the great trumpet will be blown, they will come who are about to perish in the land of Assyria and they who are outcasts of Egypt, and shall worship in the holy mount at Jerusalem.”
Generally, I don’t put a lot of weight on things like this, but this is interesting so I will just touch on it:
From the Feast of Pentecost this year to the Feast of Trumpets, is 113 days. This number 113 represents the “long hot summer” and speaks symbolically of the length of the church age. Just to see what would come up, I typed into the search engine, “Prophetic meaning of 113” This is what came up: “The snatching away of the saints.”
Psalm 113:7-9 “He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap, that He may seat him with princes – with the princes of His people.”
“Shortened day” – Wrong!
I have seen so many fancy, astronomical, mathematical, exercises of linguistic gymnastics trying to show how the days of the tribulation are shortened. (Matthew 24:22)
So severe will the tribulation be that people will seek death. It will be a time like never was, or ever shall be, in its terrible severity.
It will be so severe that the Bible says, the days will be “shortened” (That is an incorrect translation.) They will not be shortened. The days are clearly numbered, measured, given and determined. If it is shortened it is not seven years long.
The correct translation of the word “shortened” is “cut out in time.”
Once saved always saved – Wrong!
In these dangerous days where the suicide rate is dramatically escalating and many believers are giving up, it is important to address this subject now.
It’s always good to know what constitutes salvation and where the limits and boundaries are. It goes to your spiritual preparedness.
Those who claim ‘one saved always saved’ are doing you a disservice, as you drop your defences!
When you are truly born-again, the Bible says that nothing or no one can snatch you out of the Lord’s hands. This all goes to eternal security for the true believer. But there is one missing candidate in the verses that can cause you to lose your salvation.
It is you, yourself. You can willingly, by choice reject the Spirit of God from yourself.
You do not drift in and out of salvation. Sin does not cause you to lose your salvation, neither does a backslide. But beware of the following verse!
I have never heard an acceptable explanation for this frightening verse from any proponent of ‘once saved always saved’:
Hebrews 6:4-6 “It is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit (believers) and have tasted of the good word of God and powers of the age to come, if they fall away (complete), to renew then again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.”
Not only does this verse show that you can lose your salvation, it shows that if you do, you can never get it back again! There are others like it too.
Revelation 3:5 “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.” (This implies that you can have your name removed.)
Interestingly, the Bible says that sin has been removed by the cross. That is past tense. It is a done deal. The problem with sin in the believers life is that it resurrects what God has removed by the cross, effectively nullifying the work of the cross in that area!
Sin has been removed, but your resurrecting of it slowly eats into your very being. Walking in holiness is the way to go!
Too many come looking for salvation as a sort of sponsorship, or cheap insurance policy or some sort, like a commodity, but they will not die to self, the world and the demonic.
Then there are the untold masses who think they are saved, because they put their hand up in church and said a sinner’s prayer.
There are many fruits of salvation. “A tree is known by its fruit.” If you are truly saved it will be seen in your fruits and in your ongoing relationship to the world, the flesh and demonic, and of course, in your thinking:
►World: 1 John 5:4 “Whatever is born of God overcomes the world.”
►Demonic: 1 John 2:13 “You have known Him, and you have overcome the wicked one....”
► Flesh: Galatians 2:20 “I (self / flesh life) have been crucified with Messiah...He live through me.”
►Thinking: 1 Corinthians 2:16 “...We have the mind of Messiah.”
Salvation is free, but it is extremely costly. Salvation of the soul (not spirit) is where the work is required. Do you know the terror of the Lord? (2 Corinthians 5:11)
The good news is that when the blessed hope of our salvation is complete, we will be just like our Lord – fully glorified! (Romans 8:30, 1 John 3:2)
The trumpet / shofar of God is about to sound: Exodus 19:16 “The sound of the trumpet (shofar) was very loud, so that all the people that were in the camp trembled, and Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God...”
If it’s not this year, it will be next – stay tuned. I can assure that I will be keeping a very close, prayerful watch, and will keep you on the cutting edge too. Be blessed dear friends!
