- After going through the news networks, we are still in this prophetic impasse. There are of course many things happening here and there, but nothing of major prophetic immediacy.

These will change on Sundays or as the Lord leads.
Psalm 78:31-34 “The wrath of God came against them...in spite of this they still sinned, and did not believe in His wondrous works, therefore their day He consumed in futility and their years in fear. When He slew them, then they sought Him; and they turned and sought diligently for God.”
Isaiah 5:20 “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness; who put sweet for bitter and bitter for sweet! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes.”
Jeremiah 23:22 “If they had stood in My counsel, and had caused My people to hear My words, they would have turned them away from their evil ways and doings.”
1 Corinthians 2:15 “He who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.”

Shabbat Shalom to all!
Seeing is not believing!
Message to committed Christians: Your presence in your nation is its light.
Isaiah 14:12 “How you have fallen from heaven O Lucifer, son of the morning and how you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations.”
In the verse above we see that one of the major desires of Satan is to weaken the nations. If he can do that, he has little obstruction to his big plans of disruption and control.
Satan was originally called Lucifer, which means “light bearer,” before his fall.
The same principle works in believers. We are the light of the world (nations) but be careful out there, if we fall we effectively weaken the nation because our light goes out.
Bear in mind that light always pushes darkness into retreat. Darkness can never push back the light, unless the light is not really light but darkness! (Luke 11:35)
There’s an old song that speaks of the things of the world growing strangely dim in the presence of the glory of the Lord. That is so true, but it works in reverse too. The things of the world become bright when there is no real glory of God.
There are many things that may leave you still a Christian, but will put your light out or make it dim and partially hidden. In the haziness and obscurity of dim light, devils and demons run riot.
Some factors that darken your light are: ●False or presumed doctrinal light. ●That which is of the spirit of error and pride. ●All forms of replacement theology, anti-Semitism will put your light out. ●Worldliness and imbedded sin will obscure your light. ●Ignorance of the truth is a sure way to be blinded. ●Church or even national traditions and customs can be a light killer (Not all are so.) ●The opinions of man, the world, your peers, friends and sometimes family, can be a hindrance. ●All forms of pride extinguish your light. That is pride of race, face, place, grace and more.
It is the light of God that gives sight. All other lights give sight of the material world.
Do you see the things not seen by the eye? Can you hear the things the not heard by the ear? (1 Corinthians 2:9) You see, what you see with your natural eye is temporary It will soon be gone. (2 Corinthians 4:18) What you see is therefore deceptive because it’s only partly real.
The world has eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear! (Jeremiah 5:21, 6:10, Psalm 135:16) Seeing is not believing! Believing is seeing!
The world is lost because it has ears that cannot hear. It needs ears of the heart! The world has eyes that cannot see. It needs eyes of the heart to see the kingdom of God and true light. They want to see and hear according to the wickedness of their fallen heart and of the world.
Sin, righteousness and judgement is what you must see and hear. (John 16:8) Your eyes and ears then become sensitive to God and His word.
The Spirit of wisdom and revelation is needed but is only known by revelation. (Ephesians 1:17)
Luke 24:45 “He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the scriptures.”
The world has made gods of what it sees and hears. That’s all from the voice of the fallen light bearer – Satan himself. This is the reason the world is against Israel. It just can’t see the truth.
Satan is increasingly producing voices of chaos, antagonisms and troubles in this world. He thrives on anarchy – that’s his best weapon for gaining control of the masses. The world thinks it can see clearly enough to fix its problems! That’s just why the world is destined for doom!
To be free from the knowledge and will of God is to be a prisoner of the knowledge of the world and the propaganda and proper evil of it. That’s the way to be a slave of sin.
There is a new heaven and earth coming where righteousness dwells. (2 Peter 3:13)
There is a new Babylonian world coming where wickedness and destruction dwells!
Being in right standing (righteousness) with God, and His way is deeply, heavenly refreshing with sensitivity to our Lord and majestic King.
Righteousness: Strong’s G1343, “Dikaiosyne”. Meanings: Acceptable to God, integrity, virtue, purity, holiness, correct thinking.
There are few people on this earth who do not take counsel from somewhere or someone.
Don’t be reasoned into being wrong because the counsel of the masses thinks they are right. They are building their own tower of Babel again.
Psalm 1:1 “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path with sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.”
As the counsel of the ungodly comes into your life, so the counsel of God goes out.
Psalm 5:9-10 “There is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is destruction; their throat is an open tomb; they flatter with their tongue. Pronounce them guilty, O God! Let them fall by their own counsels...”
Psalm 26:5-6 “I have hated the congregation of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked. I will wash my hands in innocence...”
Psalm 119:104 “Through the counsel of Your word I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Jeremiah 15:16-17 “I found Your words and I ate them, and Your word was to me the rejoicing and joy of my heart; for I am called by Your name. I did not sit in the assembly of the mockers, nor did I rejoice. I sat alone because of Your hand, for you have filled me with indignation.”
How to be led astray:
- Ignore the necessity of being Spirit-filled, led and taught, with His inner witness.
- Don‘t discern between those of the Spirit of truth and those of the spirit of error.
- Give yourself to false prophets and those with a history of failed predictions.
- Just be a lazy slob and blindly follow what you’ve been taught without question.
- Exalt and elevate preachers and teachers, giving their words unchecked authority.
- Don’t check out and study the scriptures yourself; don’t pray over your study.
- Maintain an attitude of know-it-all pride. Go along the wide road with everyone else.
- Exalt church tradition and customs above God and His word and ways.
It’s time to be ready and let your light shine. Things are about to happen suddenly.
Pray for your light to shine brightly continuously. Pray for your nation to be open to light.
Edition 498: December 3rd 2019
Rapture of the remnant:
These are words of life!
There are many who believe every single Christian will be raptured and others who believe that only those that meet certain conditions will be raptured. Of course this is a very important issue which we need to look into diligently.
The bottom line is that every true born-again Christian will be raptured. But that is a small group! It consists of few amongst the many of those who call themselves the church. Those of the counterfeit or false church, not truly born-again, will not be raptured. Only the remnant few will be.
Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate for wide is the gate that leads to destruction and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult (confined) is the way which leads to life and there are few who find it.”
We need to examine objectively who the true church is, and who it is not and why.
In these end-times the gap between the true and the false church is widening. The “remnant church” is a fairly broad term used for true, Bible-believing and applying Christians who have been properly born-again and who have the fruits to prove it.
It is not enough to simply profess to be a Christian, without the active new-birth, repentance and the following fruits.
It really is not up to us to decide who is truly born-again or not, although we can tell by the fruits. This edition is simply to present you with some frightening realities and guidelines.
The Bible indicates that those who are truly saved will be taken in the rapture and the others will be left behind.
Sin resides in the fallen self-life or soul area of the believer. Through the new-birth, the Spirit of God resides in the spirit-man of the believer, which is now one with God. The unbeliever has a fallen nature in soul and spirit.
It is only the new-birth that re-creates us as new beings, perfect in spirit. This inner perfection then works through to our soul and thinking, renewing and changing us from within, as we renew our minds daily.
God will not dwell with sin in His presence. So it is logical then that only the truly saved qualify for the rapture. That makes it exclusive, which is a reason why worldly thinking despises it.
Who is who in the zoo?
Shock and horror comes into the picture as we look at the identifying factors of whom the real church is and who it is not and why!
Proverbs 24:20 “There will be no prospect for the evil man. The lamp of the wicked will be put out.”
Psalm 10:4 “The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts.”
The most dangerous “Christians” are those who get rid of, or downplay the cross and its work in us.
Beware of the modern principles of tolerance and passivity. When you have to change the age-old tenets of scripture to make them relevant to today, you are in trouble. God convicts of sin. If you remove or change what sin is, you remove conviction and you are on the slippery slope.
Mixing the word and the world, sin and holiness is like trying to mix God and the devil.
The false church, biblically called the “harlot” church will be huge. (Revelation 17:1) The remnant church is the biblical Philadelphian church. (Revelation 3:7-13) Don’t go with the flow of the blinded masses. Set your sail into the wind.
1 John 4:1-6 “Test the spirits whether they are of God, for many false prophets have gone out...They speak of the world and the world listens to them. We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; by this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.”
Proverbs 16:2 “All the ways of man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits.”
The remnant church is the “light of the world”. It is the “pillar and foundation of truth”. (1 Timothy 3:15) Once it is gone in the rapture, deep darkness immediately descends into the fallen “temple” of this world. Once the light has gone and the pillars have been removed, the false church will speedily join the multi-faith delusion with the evil powers of false prophet driving it.
Identifying the fake church
The false, counterfeit, fake church is all around us and growing fast. You will know them by their fruits, which will become manifest especially when the pressure is on.
It is possible to be exactly like a Christian, but not be one!
The nature of the counterfeit Christian church today is easily identifiable if you know where to look: ●It consists of the lukewarm and those mixed with worldliness. ●It consists of the superficial, and those who do not clearly distinguish between light and dark, truth and error. ●It consists of those with hazy doctrine. ●It consists of those who are of “another Jesus,” who are enemies of the cross of Messiah and have no cross of their own to take up. ●It consists of those who hate correction and discipline and want nothing to do with judgement. ●It consists of those with no price to pay, who don’t “count the cost” of discipleship. ●It consists of those whose main chant is “Me now,” and “I am he.” ●It consists of those who love the world and being approved by it. ●It consists of those who secretly love their sin. ●It consists of the spiritually untidy (normally seen in general untidiness too). ●It consists of those with no prayer life. ●It consists of those with no interest in evangelism. ●It consists of those who don’t forgive others. ●It consists of those who are blind to the kingdom of God, and blind to the kingdom of this world.
The counterfeit Christian hates denial of self, never talks of, or even believes in hell and judgement to come. He hates being warned and barks at the warning signs.
This “me-now” generation of Christians is the “get more” generation. It is those who have manufactured, with doctrinal support, new modern-day idols of materialism.
The churches that won’t teach or deal with current events, eschatology in particular, are either blind or a fraud. They are Christian fake-news. The avoidance of current events creates the illusion for their feel-good suckers, that everything is fine and will continue as always. (2 Peter 3:4)
The false church has no power. They think they do, but they don’t. They do have the power of deception through manipulation which they use masterfully.
What a shock many professing Christians who put their hand up in a meeting to accept the Lord, will get when the Lord says to them. “I don’t accept you, depart from me, I never knew you”! What a terrifying shock many will get when they are left behind at the rapture!
2 Peter 2 is all about the danger of false doctrine. Here are some of the headings within the chapter from my Bible: ●Destructive doctrines. ●The doom of false teachers. ●The depravity of false teachers. ●The deceptions of false teachers! Please study this chapter.
Galatians 1:8 “If we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached, let him be accursed.”
Galatians 2:5 “We did not yield submission even for an hour (to false brethren) that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.”
Jude 1:3-4 “...I am exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints, for certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men who turn the grace of God into licentiousness and deny the Lord.”
►It is important to know how Satan can bring down a Christian:
It begins with bad fellowship and its influence. Truths once held are cast aside and new modern, acceptable, tolerant and relevant “truth” comes in – all in the name of love. Then the major foundational doctrines of salvation get cast aside in favour of worldly, universal doctrines. These people then become enemies of the cross of Messiah and often end up as all-out enemies of God and His people.
The truth will set you free”, says the Bible. But the truth in the devil’s hands will bring you into bondage in the name of “truth” and freedom! Spiritual discernment is required.
The modern church makes you happy in the world, and pleased with yourself rather than having a fear of God and of your own inner potential to be your own proud god.
Unity is powerful and good, but only when it’s of God. Be careful of whom you come into unity with.
Building a new world, or even a Christian world, mans way, in unity, is just like the building of the Tower of Babel, and we know how that ended. (Genesis 11:6)
The character of the true rapture-ready, remnant church:
Knowledge of the rapture, even if it is basic, is essential for your life’s walk today.
The pre-tribulation rapture view is found predominantly (not exclusively) amongst Spirit-filled churches. This speaks volumes! What also speaks volumes is that most of the post-trib rapture believers are of the Spirit-less churches like the orthodox churches.
If you are right with God from His perspective: ●You love and exalt His word and its author the Holy Spirit. ●You receive correction and discipline easily and well. ●You walk in supernatural, sustaining power. ●You eagerly reject the word of the world and its ways. ●You see the spirits of the world clearly. ●You operate in the gifts of the Spirit as required. ●You un-questioningly receive, love and stand with God’s plans for Israel, the Jews, and Jerusalem. ●You endure hardship.
The cross must always be central. A Christian with the battle-scars of the cross on his life is safe.
The application of the cross produces death and resurrection. It kills you and raises you to newness of life. The cross kills you the great “I am.” It slays your pride. You cannot be free from inner, deadly pride without the ministry of the cross in your life.
You can tell a lot about a ministry by its alliances and affiliates. “Show you me your friends and I’ll tell you what sort of person you are.”
The godly church will be known by the quantity of Bible exposition it presents. Too many are ill-informed and ignorant of the full truth. They are churches of personal opinion.
Biblical, Spirit-led truth is a most amazing, wonderful and terrifying thing! It breaks hearts wide open and shines light inside. It softens hearts and sets them on fire with zeal, and love for God. It hardens un-surrendered hearts and shines darkness into them.
The true, safe, godly church will be known by its special place for Israel and God’s word on Israel in their ministry and lives. They will also strongly come against replacement theology.
Joel 2:15-16 “Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly...Let the bridegroom go out of his chambers and the bride from her dressing room.”
The context of the verse above is the Second Coming of the Lord and not the rapture, which would have occurred seven years before this. But note that our Lord (the bridegroom) leaves heaven to descend to earth at the Second Coming, with His bride – the church!
Assuring your salvation:
Romans 8:38-39 “I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God...”
The verse above is a comfort to all who believe. It is an assuring anchor of great security.
But note that there is one important ingredient not here, which is the item that can cause the loss of salvation. It is you yourself!
No, nothing can cause you to lose your salvation except yourself. You can throw it away, and there are many verses indicating that. But we most certainly do not drift in and out of salvation. It is absolutely safe, secure, protected and preserved, if we don’t reject it ourselves.
Hebrews 6:4-6 “It is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and tasted of the heavenly gift and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and tasted of the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.”
2 Peter 2:20 “If, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world, through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse than the beginning.”
Revelation 2:5 “Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.”
John 15:2-6 “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away, and every branch that bears fruit He prunes...If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they come and gather them and cast them into the fire.”
We must actively work on our salvation.
We as born-again Christians are not working for our salvation. We are working for the salvation of our soul. The word for soul is “psuche” from where the word psyche and psychology comes from. It is the realm of our thinking, personality and character.
1 Peter 1:8-9 “...Now you do not see Him, yet believing you rejoice, with joy inexpressible, and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith – the salvation of your souls.”
Romans 6:22 “Now having being set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit of holiness, and the end, everlasting life.”
When your life’s motivation is to glorify our Lord, you are on the right track.
John 7:18 “He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but he who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true and no unrighteousness is in Him.”
Psalm 18:20-21 “The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands, for I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God.”
Note that eternal rewards are given for holiness!
Proverbs 23:7 “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”
I’ve said much about the importance of your thinking of late, and will continue to do so. It is so very important. It is the channel of the devil, or the fortress of God. It creates your actions, your beliefs and more. It will get you rewarded in eternity or leave you with nothing but disappearing smoke for a reward.
Think on these things:
Luke 2:35 “A sword will pierce through your own soul that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
Jeremiah 17:9-10 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked. Who can know it? I the Lord search the heart (thoughts). I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways and the fruit of his doings.”
Proverbs 12:5 “The thoughts of the righteous are right, but the counsels of the wicked are deceitful.”
1 Chronicles 28:9 “As for you my son Solomon, know the God of your father and serve Him with a loyal heart and a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.”
To the “Christians” who thought they were saved and were not and get left behind at the rapture, it is the end of the world, but not completely so for you personally. You will still have an opportunity to repent and make right with God in the tribulation period.
That will make you a “tribulation saint,” and qualify you for the Millennium, but you will go through seven years of hell on earth, but you won’t end up in real hell.
If you throw out the opportunity in the tribulation, you will go to hell with all unbelievers.
Psalm 73:17 “When I went into the sanctuary, I understood their end...O how they are brought to desolation in a moment. They are consumed with terrors.”
Backsliders come home! Prodigal sons and daughters come home! Backsliding Israel come home, your time is running out fast!
The backslider does not lose his salvation, but he is on a deadly path.
You can lose nothing by coming to our Lord now, or put yourself in immense danger by failing to do so. Be biblically diligent with your life.
Psalm 132:4-5 “I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids, until I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling place for the mighty God of Jacob.”
Psalm 139:23 “Search me O Lord and known my heart; try me and know my anxieties; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
Psalm 130:6 “My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning. I say, more than those who watch for the morning.”
And at the end of the tribulation period – what a wonder:
Revelation 19:13-14 “He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called, The Word of God, and the armies in heaven clothed in fine linen, white and clean followed Him on white horses.”
Psalm 73:24 “You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterwards, receive me to glory.” (Rapture)
Wisdom derived from biblical truth is a wonderful place to rest.
I took this picture early in the morning from my tent out in the beautiful Namib Desert. Those are three Gemsbok (Oryx)
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
