|This ministry has a distinct kingdom, Messianic vision, identifying with God’s call and plan for the Jewish people and the church. My position is pre-trib! Personally: I was saved in 1976 while working as a war correspondent, journalist, photographer, artist and environmentalist. My calling is to share these great end-time dramas, to stand as a watchman and above all, to glorify my God.|

Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

Shabbat Shalom to all!
The tree-huggers delight:
The Bible uses plants, trees, colours, animals, birds, numbers and more to describe people and nations. It is the subliminal symbols that are of great significance and meaning, especially in relation to Israel.
Did you realise that the entire course of Israel’s history is plotted in the trees? There is much more to these symbols and metaphors - for another time.
Here are some amazing messages blowing in the wind, relating to Israel.
►The Olive tree: (Romans 11)
These trees have very deep, well established roots. They are sometimes called eternal trees, because they are so hardy; they live for many thousands of years. An ancient olive tree appears to die, but then miraculously, new shoots appear out of the dead wood continuing its existence.
The olive tree produces a rich olive oil which has numerous uses, but is also a type of the Holy Spirit. Olive oil is required to keep the temple menorah flames burning. This symbolises light. Olive tree leaves are symbols of peace. Remember the dove bringing back an olive branch to the ark after the flood of judgement.
The root of the olive tree is symbolic of God Himself. The root is called, “holy.”
Biblically, there are two olive trees of importance. The natural olive tree, is symbolic of Israel, and the wild olive tree, is symbolic of the church. The wild olive branch was “grafted” into the natural olive tree, thus partaking of the goodness of the root.
The national emblem of Israel includes two olive branches.
An ancient olive tree grove:
►The Fig tree:
The fig tree is symbolic of spiritual fruitfulness after severe pruning or judgement. It relates to Israel in the tribulation period, awakening to spiritual life.
The fig tree is unique in that its blossoms appear before the leaves. It should have fruit appearing before the leaves. This is why our Lord cursed the unfruitful fig tree, causing it to die. The root was not destroyed though, and a new tree full of fruit, is about to appear.
When the disciples asked out Lord what would be the sign of His coming, He listed a number of judgements to fall on the world. But one of these was the sign of the fig tree.
Matthew 24:32-34 “learn the parable of the fig tree: When is branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that the summer is near. So also you when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the very doors. Assuredly, I say to you, ‘this generation (of Jews) will be no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled.’”
Present day Zionism and the awakening of the Jews, as well as modern anti-Semitism are signs of the fig tree putting forth leaves and about to produce much spiritual fruit.
►The Almond tree:
The almond is the first tree to flower in its season, which at the end of winter. The flower has five petals to it, five being the number of grace. The temple menorah, a symbol of light, has oil cups or containers in the shape of almond flowers.
The Hebrew word for “almond” is “shakeid” which also means to “awake” and “watch”.
The almond is symbolic of Messiah’s resurrection. It speaks of the supernatural power of God as seen in Aaron’s almond branch that budded in one day. (Numbers 17:8)
Jeremiah 1:11-14 “The word of the Lord came to me saying, ‘Jeremiah, what do you see?’ I said, ‘I see the branch of an almond tree.’ Then the Lord said, ‘you have seen well for I am about to perform My word.’ And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying, ‘what do you see? And I said, a boiling pot and it is facing away from the north.’ Then the Lord said to me: ‘Out of the north calamity shall break forth on all the inhabitants of the land.’”
The message here is that as the almond (Israel) flowers and buds she will be plunged into the tribulation period.
Jeremiah 31:28 “It shall come to pass that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy and to afflict them, so I will watch over them to build and plant says the Lord. In those days they shall say no more, ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes...’”
Psalm 80:8-9 “You have brought a vine out of Egypt, You have cast out the nations and planted it. You prepared room for it, and caused it to take deep root and it filled the land.”
This vine, Israel, is described as “the choicest vine.” But it is a vine that also has within it a “winepress.” (Isaiah 5:1-2) The “winepress” speaks of the crushing tribulation to come!
God planted Israel as a “noble vine” of the highest quality, yet it became an alien, degenerate vine. This speaks of Israel's rebellion to Messiah. (Jeremiah 2:21)
As with the olive and the fig tree, the vine will bear its good fruit in its time, which is just around the corner!
►Other trees symbolic of Israel:
Joel 1:12 (Context: Israel is invaded in the tribulation period) “The vine has dried up and the fig tree has withered; and the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree. All the trees of the field have withered. Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.
But we know that Israel's story does not end in the tribulation. Joy will return.
The Cedar: Symbol of power, royalty and majesty. The Oak: Symbol of strength and stability. The Palm: Symbol of military victory and victory in Messiah. The Pomegranate: Symbol of abundance and joyfulness. The Acacia: Symbol of beauty. The Myrtle: Symbol of God’s favour and blessing.
The grand summary:
Israel is: Deeply rooted in God with an eternal future. Israel contains the light-producing oil of the Spirit of God and soon will be Messiah’s light of the world! Israel will be at peace soon. The church is a “wild” family member of Israel through our joint root in God. Israel will become fully fruitful after pruning. Israel’s ripening fruit is a sign of Messiah’s coming. Israel will bud and come to life supernaturally in a day and then bring the light of salvation to the Gentile world. Israel will go through the winepress of tribulation, be attacked from the north and fall under calamity, because she was the choicest, noble vine and yet gave herself to paganism. (Baal) Finally Israel will fulfil God’s call and plan in power, majesty and strength, abundance, and blessing.
All of this is revealed in the nature of this forest of trees, and the corresponding Bible verses. How can you not be a tree-hugger!
Edition 432: August 28th 2018
Who will repent?
The soon-coming seven-year tribulation period will begin with no true believers on the earth, thanks to the rapture. The world will then be filled with counterfeit Christians, Jewish and Gentile unbelievers and of course, the mass-media!
This will be the most tumultuous time ever.
Multitudes of Jews (the majority) and Gentiles will be saved in the tribulation. Huge numbers will not repent and become great enemies of God before their ride to hell.
So, who will repent and be saved, and who will not, and why? The answer is, I don’t know, only God knows in His esteemed foreknowledge. But the Bible does give us many clues, views, signs and insights into who will repent and why.
This edition is a careful examination of this all important issue. Many of the principles relate to what causes repentance generally speaking, as well as in the tribulation.
God is merciful, loving, compassionate, forgiving and full of grace, but there is a limit to His grace, which you must not cross. His desire is that all come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)
The meaning of the word “repent” (Strong’s G3341) is to have a change of heart and to turn around and go a new way. It also means rejecting the old way. It is active and a deliberate act of will. Repentance is always relative to the values and virtues of the Bible.
Please bear in mind that pride and a lack of repentance are evil twins, and humility and repentance are holy twins. In many ways, repentance is similar to cross-bearing.
Repentance must be deep. It must even include your thought life. Your thought life is your own secret place – forbidden to all. But God knows every thought and intention of your mind!
You can and must straighten out your thought life! Try it, you’ll be surprised.
Psalm 139:1-4 “O Lord, you have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and rising up, you understand my thoughts afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. There is not a word on my tongue, O Lord, you know it altogether.”
There is a big difference between godly repentance and feeling sorry for oneself!
2 Corinthians 7:10 “Godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, not to be regretted, but the sorrow of the world produces death.”
Repentance is an ongoing walk. It produces holiness which produces spiritual sight, knowledge, understanding and wisdom. It clears out sin and prepares for a new godly universe. (Daniel 9:24)
As we head for the soon-coming climax of the ages, who repents and who will not, and why?
Malachi 3:2 “Who can endure the day of His coming? Who can stand when He appears? He is like a refiner’s fire...”
Nahum 1:6 “Who can stand before His indignation, and who can endure the fierceness of His anger? His fury will be poured out like fire”.
Who won’t repent:
Repentance is a gift of God, but He gives it to those who He knows, in His foreknowledge, will use it and not scorn it.
There would of course be some exceptions to this, but generally, those who will not repent are those who have “seared their conscience.” Most of the so-called intellectual, liberal left are dominated by pride and self righteousness and will not repent. Those under the spell of the religion of humanism will generally not repent.
Those beguiled by the witchcraft of legalism in and out of the church, will be unable to repent because of the power of those curses at work.
In the tribulation period, those who have received the ultimate control symbol, the mark of the beast, will be forever lost.
Why won’t they repent?
Remember well that Yeshua is a friend of sinners who humble themselves, but a frightful terror to the unrepentant and proud.
Proverbs 1:28-29 “They will call on Me, but I will not answer; they will seek Me diligently, but they will not find Me, because they hated knowledge (of God) and did not choose the fear of the Lord.”
The proud and unrepentant have a god they can control and make dance to their tune. They have no fear of the Lord.
Pride, in all its forms keeps God away. It’s a battle between the pride of life and the pattern and working of humility, which brings God near.
The humble will be well-known in heaven.
Pride is the power which causes sin to shine. Pride refines and legitimises sin making it acceptable. Spiritual darkness is a close friend of the unrepentant and proud.
It is pride that often causes people to become too sensitive to being hurt. Pride is a product of the flesh (self) and does not like to be affronted. It is this same pride that causes people to carry hurts and injuries around with them, causing them never to be free. With some you can see it in their eyes and hear it in their talk. They have made their hurts their friends!
You can’t hurt and injure a dead person! – Death to self is extremely liberating.
Pride is the dark glass in front of you that hides the face of truth and alters the appearance of sin and blinds you to its dangers and the need to repent.
You can alter the appearance of sin and change its definition, but you can’t change its nature and that will crush you, because you won’t see the need to need to repent!
Hollywood has created a world of golden statues, celebrities of hell, and golden-calf idols. They are idols for destruction, icons of hell itself. This has infiltrated into the church and the minds of many Christians today because they’ve been beguiled and bewitched by the world’s devil.
Many of today’s Christianettes need to be entertained and amused all the time. They have more in character with the idolatry of Hollywood, and the media, than with our God.
Interestingly, the world continues in ever worsening sin, yet condemns and criticises those who call them to repentance, which is true freedom.
Now, have a look at this incredible discourse:
Deuteronomy 8:2 “The Lord your God led you all the way these 40 years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His word or not...to do you good in the end. (vs16)”
Psalm 106:13-15 “They soon forgot His works; they did not wait for His counsel, but lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tested God in the desert. So, He gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.”
Do you have “leanness of soul?” Note the enormous tragedy in these verses above. God was testing them to do them good in the end, but they tested God and got nothing except emptiness! It’s not very clever to test God!
There are some people who come to God, but won’t leave their god of the world. They want both! They secretly want to continue in sin. They get nothing from God. He won’t even listen to them.
Psalm 66:18 “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear.”
You can win arguments with people about the truth, but that does not always change their hearts. Some people are so in love with their false beliefs that they won’t repent or lay them down no matter how wrong you prove them to be.
When you come to God in repentance and belief, wonderful things begin to happen!
Job 42:5-6 “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye (spiritual) sees You. Therefore I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes.”
Excuse me for sharing this; I do so from the point of view of testimony:
“Repent in dust and ashes” That’s crazy talk! O yes, I don’t agree. I’ve often maintained that it is good to do things demonstrably. It breaks your pride even if it makes you look like an idiot sometimes. I often used to go to a nearby graveyard and begin a fast of repentance lying in the dust of some anonymous grave.
The shock of not being able to repent:
There are some who are tragically forever lost and can’t repent. They can’t see their terrible state.
You may not like the above statement, but those who know their Bible well and the voice of The Spirit in their hearts would rather take warning and fear – and be safe.
Please read the following verses one after the other. I have selected them for their gravity and seriousness in this regard. They need no comment:
Hebrews 6:4-6 “It is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit and tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away (completely) to renew then again to repentance ...”
2 Chronicles 36:15-16 “The Lord God sent warnings to them by His messengers...because He had compassion on His people. But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at the prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, till there was no remedy.”
Hebrews 12:16-17 “...Esau who for one morsel of food sold his birthright...afterwards he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with teas.”
John 9:4 “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.”
John 12:35 “A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you...”
Isaiah 55:6-7 “Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his ways.”
1 Timothy 4:1-2 “The Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.”
All who don’t love the truth, including the necessity of repentance, are in grave danger. They will soon backslide in the pressures, and become spiritually sterile – sell-outs.
It does no good to preach to the hard-hearted.
A warning call:
Ezekiel 33:5 “He heard the sound of the watchman’s trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself, but he who takes warning will save his life.”
You will not be able to repent and make right with God, the instant you have stepped into eternity. You fate, good or bad is eternally sealed at death or rapture. There will be no regret in repentance and there will be eternal regret for the lack of it.
The godly teacher is to teach, preach and proclaim of the immense danger for unrepentant sinners. The church today has taught so much on the love of God that the flock think they have nothing to fear. That is the very reason much of the church is so worldly.
The godly teacher is more than a teacher. He is the watchman, tuned into God first and the people second. He must be a vicious watchdog in the face of attacks.
The media call themselves the watchdogs of society. A number of CNN anchors are Muslims and homosexuals. How can they be the watchdogs for the true Christian? They don’t call anyone to godly repentance, not even themselves. They call the masses to hell.
Deuteronomy 27:18 “Cursed is he who makes the blind to wander out of the way of God.”
Psalm 10:13 “Why do the wicked renounce God? Because they have said in their hearts, ‘you will not require an account.’”
You will never escape from God! Believers would say, ‘that’s great we don’t want to!’ It is the unbeliever who must hide in the dark because he trusts in himself and loves sin.
Romans 2:4-5 “...The goodness of God leads to repentance, but in accordance with your hardness and impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourselves wrath in the day of wrath and the revelation of the righteous judgement of God.”
What is shocking about this verse below is that these people knew and recognised that their intense suffering under the wrath of God in the tribulation period, was coming from God. Yet they did not repent and in fact turned on God.
Revelation 16:9-11 “Men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory...They gnawed their tongues because of the pain and sores and did not repent of their deeds.”
Revelation 9:20-21 “The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons and idols of gold and silver, brass, stone and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. They did not repent of their murders or sorceries or their sexual immorality or thefts.”
You have to be as stupid as a media news anchor to refuse to repent, as it is revealed in these tribulation-period verses above!
Rome will not repent:
Do you know that the Roman Catholic church has a very close link to Babylon? Many of its practices, traditions and beliefs come right out of Babylon. We see great judgement coming upon the end-time “whore of Babylon” in the book of Revelation. (Revelation 17:1-18)
We see the wrath of God’s judgment upon her for her self-exaltation and all her evils. Most commentators including myself agree that “Babylon the great” is the end-time world and its world-religion led by Rome.
Rome: Greek: Strong’s G4516. “Rhome” Meaning: “Presumed strength.”
Rome is not in the Old Covenant, but the word in Hebrew means, “The one who exalts herself”.
By contrast our Lord calls us “the little flock, which are given the kingdom.” (Luke 12:32)
According to the message to the church at Thyatira in the Revelation, which most commentators agree is the Catholic church, and other similar orthodox churches, will not repent. They together with the “lukewarm, spat out church of Laodecia, have a terrible future coming. Here it is:
Revelation 2:21-23 “I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds, and I will kill her children with death...”
The lukewarm church of Laodecia is also commanded to repent, but does not! (Revelation 3:19) The dead church of Sadis is commanded to repent. (Revelation 3:3) The loveless church of Ephesus is commanded to repent. (Revelation 2:5) The compromising church of Pergamos is commanded to repent. (Revelation 2:16)
Funny thing this: The world back then was awe struck and amazed at the magnificence of man-made Babylon. But it was a scummy, slimy hell-hole compared to the glory of the God-made New Jerusalem! The descriptions are mind boggling.
Compare the Vatican with the New Jerusalem! Wheeeewuuu! I better get off this now!
The fruit of repentance:
Genuine repentance brings instant forgiveness. This then produces “fruit of repentance.”
Repentance produces forgiveness, and correction in that area, which makes us right with God.
Acts 3:19 “Repent and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.”
The fruits of repentance are many, most being obvious. Stability, assurance, confidence and strength to move forward without hindrance are primary. Freedom from guilt, liberty and increased faith are good fruits too. Perhaps the greatest fruit, if we could call it that, is holiness.
Repentance produces refreshing! Glorious, liberating refreshing!
Time is up!
The pressures are going to increase dramatically and suddenly. Supernatural forces of good and evil will intensify in their battle for you.
We have very little time left before great things break forth. People have very little time left to get their lives right with God.
Easy believeism is the curse of the modern western church. It is nothing but the seeking of ongoing comfort and pleasure. Many of them will go to hell because the church has given them a false hope.
Those who seek to be right with God now and who move in repentance now, will be forever thankful to the living God for leading this way.
Once you have tasted the deep things of holiness, which only repentance produces, you become a wonderfully strange and odd person, with no regrets.
I strongly recommend that those who are serious with our Lord have a serious repentance session with Him. Make it a special event, a milestone, a point of identification.
Repentance is the way to safety with God. It is the way to a life of joy and peace which rubs off on others. The real winners are the repentant ones.
Psalm 51:12-13 “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You.”
Repentance keeps holiness close. The lack of repentance is a great danger and horror.
I took the background picture of the side of an old rusted steam engine I found out in the wilds and inserted one of my warthog pictures for fun. I changed it blue and added some textures.
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
