24th January 2020
Shabbat Shalom to all!
More on 2020:
I have spoken on 2020 before, but this is an extension to my previous predictions.
I recently watched a compilation video of prophecies for 2020 by various Christian teachers, all put together. Let’s just say I rejected it all! It was nothing but pampering, financial promises for giving, man-pleasing, comfort-zone assuring, and of course all to the tune of “The Lord told me.”
They were all about “me, myself, and I”, the “me-now” materialistic, worldly church.
Of course they all missed the big prophetic events of our time – Israel!
So what is the Lord saying for 2020?
2 Chronicles 20:20 “O Judah and your inhabitants of Jerusalem, believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established. Believe His prophets and you shall prosper.” (Note the verse number above and below)
Exodus 20:20 “Moses said to the people, ‘Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.’”
Our Lord is saying that this will be the year Israel becomes prophetically central.
This will be the year of the true church standing as a “foundational pillar.” (1Timothy 3:15) upon which the Israeli dimension of His kingdom may rest. He is saying that He will use certain “watchmen opposite watchmen at the gate.” (Isaiah 52:8, 62:6)
These selected watchmen will together watch out for Israel, Jerusalem and the Jews. They will watch for the coming fall of the world! End-time Babylon the great, is a type of the world-system and it is due for a great fall.
Jeremiah 51:10-11 “The Lord has revealed our righteousness, come let us declare in Zion, the works of the Lord our God...His plan is against Babylon to destroy it.”
Isaiah 21:6-9 (The fall of Babylon) “The Lord said to me: ‘Go set a watchman, let him declare what he sees’...Babylon is fallen is fallen...”
The call of the watchman is to watch over words of truth and to watch for the enemy on the inside. It is to watch for all things prophetic relating to Israel, the church and the timing of it all.
A watchman speaks guides and warns, but you cannot speak without seeing first. The true watchman sees God’s word with substantial knowledge of it and revelation-eyes.
They will watch for Israel’s coming sight of the lifted veil and the falling veil of blindness on much of the church in pride.
The section of the church falling deeper into blindness will have their own “watchmen”, united as champions of deceptive error, leading their people to “find their lives in the world”! (Matthew 10:39, John 12:25)
The big message for 2020 is the veil lifting and a veil falling.
God’s work with and in Israel will become predominant, central and in the forefront. It will also be the great divider. It will divide between those who love the truth unreservedly, and those who don’t.
The 2020 church that stands with God’s plans for Israel will be persecuted and attacked, by many inside the corrupted church, and those outside in the world. But it will be blessed of God.
2020 is also the Hebrew year 5780, which translates as the 17th Hebrew letter “Pey” which means “mouth.” It symbolises victory. It has secondary meanings: “Speak”, “Blow”, and “Scatter.” The numeric value of “pey” is 80, which is prophetically significant.
This is the year of the mouth of the prophets and watchmen seeing and speaking for God. It will be the year of prophets and watchmen delivering guidance and blows to those in perpetual error.
It will also be the year of the blabber-mouths of the false prophets, who scatter rather than unify, and those who just talk plain rubbish in the name of the Lord.
The start of Israel’s salvation:
Joel 2:32 (Addressed to Israel). “It shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. From Mount Zion and Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the Lord has said, among the remnant whom the Lord calls.”
Romans 10:9 (Heading: Israel needs the gospel) “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, and you believe in your heart, that God has raised Him from dead, you will be saved.”
Psalm 80:5-7 “You have fed them (Israel) with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in great measure. You have made us a scorn to our neighbours, and our enemies laugh amongst themselves. Restore us O God of hosts. Cause Your face to shine and we shall be saved.”
Hosea 14:1-2-3 “O Israel, return to the Lord your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity. Take words with you, and return to the Lord, and say to Him, ‘Take away all iniquity; receive us graciously, for we will offer the sacrifices of our lips. (Repentance)
The Prophetic Scroll:
The overall purpose of The Prophetic Scroll (TPS) and me personally, is to glorify our Lord and His kingdom. It is to bring knowledge, understanding and wisdom to you of these things, particularly through the prophetic word of God. It is to warn, inform and reveal.
Job 22:28 “You will also declare a thing and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.”
The purpose of TPS is to present to you enlightened, spirit-led truth, without apology or the approval of man, denomination or institution, with no self-seeking. It is to stand with God’s exciting, dramatic plan for Israel and the church.
The problem today is that most churches don’t teach eschatology at all, so their congregations are largely in the dark.
There is a certain dryness and powerlessness in them, to say nothing of the fact that their spiritual ignorance lets the devil in with his “wisdom.” They won’t stand in the storms.
There’s a new church forming! It is doctrinally pure, with no mixture with Babylon, clean and glorious. This is just as the wide-road church plunges into deeper darkness.
Your own goals for the time ahead should include a greater depth of death to self and the world and strong determination to follow our Lord to glory, no matter what.
Don’t get bent out of shape with things that don’t matter. Don’t worry about pleasing others or what they will think. Don’t be one of those with regrets when you fly into the kingdom of glory.
Set your goal and focus on glorifying God in your life. These things you will never regret and be eternally thankful for.
O, yes – will it be Rosh Hashanah this year? Stay tuned!
Edition 411: April 3rd 2018
End-Time Ailments of the Soul:
Job 3:25-26 “The thing I greatly feared has come upon me, and what I dreaded has happened to me. I am not at ease, nor am I quiet; I have no rest, for trouble comes to me.”
That verse most certainly describes our present world situation. A massive increase in psychological ailments of the soul is taking place right now, and those within the church, who are not prepared and equipped, are not immune. The Bible prophesies it all.
This is one of my favourite subjects. I have written much on it, but this is new material. This edition should be seen together with the other editions on the subject, which you will find under the heading - “Counselling,” under the “Editions by Subject” button.
The intensifying, end-time ailments:
The Bible makes reference to almost all of the end-time ailments in some shape or form. They are intensifying now. Here are just a few of them:
Stress, depression, anxiety, fear of rejection, loneliness, uncontrolled anger, drug use, manias, paranoia, panic attacks, personality disorders, eating problems and more.
The characteristics of the end-time world are succinctly described in the verses below:
2 Timothy 3:1-5 “In the last days perilous times (Lit= times of stress) will come, for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people, turn away.”
Here’s the shocker: Almost all are biblically identified as sin. To name them anything else, is to miss-diagnose them, which means that sufferers will not be healed! This is why psychologists are failures. You can’t take pills to make sin go away! Blame-shifting does not make sin go away.
There is a remedy and answer for them all. It is not the psychologist! It’s all in God’s word.
As the world moves at great speed further and further away from God, distress of nations and individuals increases dramatically. That is simple cause and effect at work.
This is a huge, very fast growing problem worldwide today.
Suicide is generally a capitulation to the pressures of stress anxiety, despair, helplessness and more. All suicide surrenders to the enemy – death.
Suicide involves a turning away from God to a focus on self.
Proverbs 1:32-33 “The turning away (from God) of the simple will slay (Lit=kill) them...But whoever listens to Me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without evil.”
Self must go to the cross, where it dies - not at your own hand! Cross-death always results in resurrection to newness of life.
Suicide is often caused by and related to demonic curses at work. Suicide itself, almost always generates generational curses in the families of those left behind. These forces need to be dealt with, addressed and broken through spiritual warfare.
I don’t know what the numbers are, but I can tell you, according to numerous Bible verses, that huge amounts of psychological problems are caused by involvement in the occult, and all related activities. This always brings demonic activity.
I am now going to build a scenario based on some all-important verses. Don’t stop reading now!
1 Corinthians 3:16 “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you. If anyone defiles (Lit = destroys) this temple of God (the body), God will destroy him...”
This is the famous verse used to suggest that those who commit suicide, killing the body, will be spiritually destroyed by God. It is the verse that has created the suicide-stigma for ages.
There really is no other interpretation of the verse. So, that simply means, - don’t gamble with it! What if it means exactly what it is saying?
Now let’s have a look at an incredibly deep and far reaching verse:
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 “Our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
This verse says that all our problems no matter how big, are temporary. They are in fact “light afflictions” while we look at what we can’t see – heaven and our future glory. There will be no problems in heaven. There will be no sin in eternity. All sin, problems, and the like, belong to this temporary realm.
If we endure through them, a miraculous thing happens. Instead of a heavy weight of stress and problems, we receive an eternal, heavy weight of glory as reward.
As said, all our problems are related to sin somewhere in the chain, and all sin is of this temporary world. Now have a look at this verse:
Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish transgression (Lit=sin), to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity (sin), to bring in everlasting righteousness...”
So this is saying and confirming that all sin will be forever destroyed, and everlasting righteousness is coming. How wonderful is that?
So why swop a glorious eternity where there will be no sin or problems of any sort for a temporary realm of sin and problems?
Problems are temporary, even if they last all your life on earth that is still temporary. Why cause yourself eternal problems based on a temporary situation?
Do you see how unwise it is to focus on the temporary and miss out on the eternal?
You see, in this life we always have a chance to go back, repent, or change things. Suicide though, is final and complete. If you have made a huge mistake by committing suicide, you can’t go back and change things. It’s done!
The verses I’ve used here say: Suicide will get you destroyed (in hell). All problems which are sin-related are temporary. In eternity (not far off) all sin will be gone and everlasting righteousness will be here. Endurance through all problems and looking to eternity, will make your problems a “light affliction” and give you an eternal reward of glory!
Joy is found in and emits for your spirit. Happiness or unhappiness are temporary and originate in the physical and bodily areas.
1 John 2:17 “The world is passing away and the lusts of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever,”
Let’s deal with some more ailments:
●●●Is your soul at war with God?
1 Peter 2:11 “Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims (Lit = aliens and exiles) abstain from fleshly, worldly lusts which war against the soul,”
When we become too entangled in the ways of the world, there are consequences. According to the verse above, you are then in a war, which you can’t win. You need to die to the world!
●●●A spirit of depression and heaviness weighs people down. They end up almost blinded by the weight. The opposite is the eternal weight of glory that is coming to those who qualify!
Isaiah 61:3 “Put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.”
Heaviness and depression are spirits and must be treated as such. Also, please note that praise is one of the answers. You rarely hear people under this spirit praising others or God. But it is required because it shifts the focus from self-orientation away to others, which always helps.
Sometimes, you need to make a sacrifice of praise, even if you don’t feel like it. Praise is also closely related to thankfulness. In fact the word “thanks” in many languages is the same word for grace. So when you praise and give thanks you are inviting grace upon your life.
●●●Rejection and fear of rejection is a great problem today. People want acceptance, and too many times look for it in the wrong places. When we turn our hopes and love to the Lord, in repentance and humility, he will give us enduring acceptance.
Isaiah 54:4-6 “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed nor be disgraced...For the Lord has called you like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, like a youthful wife that was refused (Lit=rejected.)”
●●●The way you dress has consequences:
Deuteronomy 22:5 “A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God.”
Do you believe that a man dressing like a woman is an abomination to God? Read that verse again! I tell you, that if you are a walking abomination to God, you will never be blessed of God, and you will end up being demonised. How about that...your clothing can get you demon possessed!
●●●Do you honour your parents?
Proverbs 30:17 “The eye that mocks his father and scorns obedience to his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.”
Honouring your parents has consequences. It does not matter how good, right, or wrong they are, you still need to honour and respect them. That is not fashionable today. The verse above most certainly describes a curse.
●●●Discipline and control your thought life and your words:
Mark 7:21-23 “From within, out of the evil heart of men, proceed evil thoughts...all evil things come from within and defile a man.”
Matthew 12:36-37 “I say to you that for every idle word men speak, they will give an account of it in the day of judgement, for by your words you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned.”
Your thought life produces your words, which produce your beliefs and actions. You can control your thoughts. Learn to cast down evil imaginations.
●●●Fear is a crippling force in many people’s lives these days and it can affect them severely. In many cases it is a result of rebellion to God’s ways. There is a very specific type of fear which comes from God upon people who reject His ways.
Deuteronomy 28:65 -66 “The Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes and anguish of soul. Your life shall hang in doubt before you and you shall fear day and night and have no assurance of life.”
Job 11:13-18 “If you would prepare your heart, and stretch out your hands to Him; if iniquity were in you and you put it far away, and would not let wickedness dwell in your tents; then surely you could lift up your face without spot. Yes you could be steadfast, and not fear...and your life would be brighter than noonday though you were dark, you would be like the morning and be secure.”
●●●Coming against God’s people, Jews and Christians, has consequences causing them to run into all sorts of problems.
Genesis 27:28-29 “God will give you the dew of heaven and fatness of the earth...Cursed be everyone who curses you and blessed be those who bless you.”
●●●Corrupted ways are the order of the day. Remember that these end-times are compared by God to the “days of Noah!”
Genesis 6:11 “The earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence...indeed the earth was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.” (Days of Noah)
●●●Exalting your own ways will lead you to disaster. When you do, almost always, religious idolatry comes in as well.
Jeremiah 18:12-17 Rejecting God’s warning they said: “This is hopeless! So we will walk according to our own plans and we will all do the imagination of our own heart...Because My people have forgotten Me and have burned incense to worthless idols, and have caused themselves to stumble in their ways, from the ancient paths, to walk in the pathways and not on the highway, to make their land desolate and a perpetual hissing...I will scatter them as with an east wind before their enemy; I will show them the back and not the face in the day of their calamity.”
A Greek philosopher, Protagoras said: “Man is the measure of all things”. This is the essence of godless humanism. He also said that “there is no absolute truth”. This thinking has produced a downward devolution and value of humanity.
For ages and again today, the leader of the Catholic church says that they are the only authority that can interpret scripture. That is absolute idolatry based on the rejection of numerous verses. You need to fully and completely reject, with contempt every such claim and belief. It is from hell.
True, deep, peace of mind only comes when we fit into God’s plans for our lives. You can’t be at rest and in peace outside of God’s will and plan for you.
A great tragedy is to be filled with sin unknowingly, because you have rejected God’s definition of sin and now you have no restraint in you because you have rejected God’s word. Your life will be like a parched, dry desert.
Never ending curses at work:
Today, the subject of curses is very rarely taught in the churches. Most don’t even believe them. They are more real than you can imagine!
People under a curse always fall and fail. Things just never seem to go right for them. We all have things go wrong, but a curse is like a continuing dark cloud of failure.
Deuteronomy 28:45-47 “All these curses shall come upon you and pursue you and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God...And they shall be upon you for a sign and a wonder and on your descendants forever...therefore you shall serve your enemies, whom the Lord will send against you...”
Deuteronomy 28:20 “The Lord will send on you cursing confusion and rebuke in all you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed...because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me.”
Deuteronomy 28:21 “The Lord will make the plague cling to you, until He has consumed you...”
Deuteronomy 28:28 “The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of heart.”
There are many more, but here is a short simple, one sentence description of curses at work from the verses above:
●They bring destruction. ●They cause you to serve the enemy. ●They cause confusion. ●They cause failure in whatever you set your hand to do. ●They cling to you and you can’t shake them off. ●They create madness. ●They create spiritual blindness.
Some wonderful answers:
Isaiah 48:18 “Oh that you had heeded My commands! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.”
Repentance is little known, taught or experienced in today’s shallow, lukewarm church.
But true deep repentance of thought, word and action, is extremely liberating and refreshing. It’s like the atmosphere after a big storm – clean, crisp and refreshing. It clears the air between you and God setting you on a new course.
2 Corinthians 7:10-11 “Godly sorrow produces repentance not to be regretted, but the sorrow of the world produces death. You sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what godly fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication. In all these things you proved yourselves to be clear in this matter.”
Proverbs 16:3 (Amp) “Commit and trust your works to the Lord and He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and so shall your plans be established and succeed.”
Psalm 23:3 “The Lord restores my soul; He leads me in paths of righteousness, for His name sake.”
Wonderful, miraculous salvation:
One of the great powerful ways to know if you’re really saved is this: Through the new-birth we are made perfect holy and pure in spirit. It is man’s spirit that becomes the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. Our soul and body remain unchanged at salvation.
But the Spirit of God now works in us through to the outside causing us to desire holiness in soul. Do you have an inner hatred for sin and an inner desire to be right with God? Does something inside of you touch your conscience and draw you to change? If so, you are saved.
We must know how salvation works. We must know how to “rightly divide” and apply the word in terms of soul and spirit.
The following is a contrast between the verses relating to our spirit (positional truth) and our soul and body (temporal truth).
●We are in the world but not of it. We are seated in heavenly places, but we are to die daily. ●We are more than conquerors, but we say: “O wretched man that I am”. ●Greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world, but - in me dwells no good thing. ●I can do all things through Messiah, but we can of ourselves do nothing. ●We are complete in Him, but we must fall on this rock and be broken. ●We have abundant life, but if we find our lives, we will lose it.
You can chose: Exaltation, health, prosperity, victory, godly authority, or humiliation, repeated sickness, enduring poverty, failure, defeat, spiritual gullibility, mental breakdown, emotional instability.
When you cease to depend on God, His rulership of your life ceases. You become a slave to self.
A sign of the Spirit of God at work in an individual includes stability.
Faith is a fight. It takes courage and determination in the face of increasing pressures.
Hope gives our salvation optimism and changes the winters of stress and depression to spring and summer. People obeying God just seem to turn things to gold.
I created this image with gold leaf and superimposed the elephant eye and golden feathers.
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
