|This ministry has a distinct kingdom, Messianic vision, identifying with God’s call and plan for the Jewish people and the church. My position is pre-trib! Personally: I was saved in 1976 while working as a war correspondent, journalist, photographer, artist and environmentalist. My calling is to share these great end-time dramas, to stand as a watchman and above all, to glorify my God.|

Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

The End-Time Teacher
The times that the world is about to go into are referred to in the Bible as “times like never were before, nor ever shall be again.” (Matthew 24:21) They are unique!
In these days the “love of many (Lit=most) will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12)
The times are described as “perilous.”
Special requirements are needed for these situations. The end-time teacher, a pastor, or one within another type of ministry platform or office, needs to be specially equipped, prepared and called.
He is to forewarn, to disclose the ways of God, to reveal the plot and plan of God and the devil. He is to impart, proclaim and divulge what the Spirit of God is saying now.
He is to blow the trumpet and beat the drum, shine the spotlight, and roar like a lion. He is to shriek – Mayday, mayday, mayday, hit the siren button and show the way to victory, peace and safety.
The pastor must be a called and equipped teacher. Not all teachers must be pastors in terms of the five-fold ministry gifts.
Conditions for the end-time teacher:
The only way you can really know who you can trust in these end times is by knowing the word of God yourself. It is your measure. A real, active, alive knowledge of the Spirit of God and especially the revelatory gifts of the Spirit are essential.
The Spirit of God is the teacher, revealer and the discerner. The end-time teacher, obviously, must know how to “read” hear and obey Him.
●He must have eyes to see – spiritual eyes!
●The end-time teacher must know his Bible backwards and especially Bible-prophecy. He must know the Holy Spirit and be baptised in the Spirit. He must operate in the revelatory gifts of the Spirit.
●The teacher must win and warn with the wisdom of the word. He must resist, and rebuke the things of the devil. He will be loved and hated!
●He must be known for his cross-bearing, fear of the Lord, brokenness and the preaching of it.
●He must be free from falling into deceptions.
●He must preach “all scripture.” (Acts 20:27)
●He must have a track record of fasting, prayer and study of God’s word.
●The end-time teacher will be known by his doctrinal stability and personal restraint.
●He must be free from the dictates of the kingdom of the world in all ways.
●He must walk in holiness.
Characteristics of the false teacher:
The Bible warns that in these days there will be many false teachers and deceivers.
The condition of the ground (heart) for error, deception and false teaching and false prophecy to grow in, is hard ground. Hard to God, and soft to the devil, that is. It is a heart full of pride and a lack of repentance which hardens the heart and blinds the eyes to the true deep things of God.
False teachers are often bitter, unforgiving people. Remember that a “root of bitterness” spreads and poisons many. (Hebrews 12:15)
The false teacher will lead people away from the cross, or at least be silent on the power of the cross. If they had the power of the cross at work in them, they would not be false teachers!
The false teacher will always produce false doctrine in some shape or form. Their false doctrines are rarely one-off items and often linked to a string of others. They normally worsen in time.
The deadly teacher’s death progression:
A simple error in a teacher is no big deal, because it can normally be corrected easily on repentance. But if not checked, there is a crossover point where a deadly spirit comes in and takes over.
●Error becomes a “hobby-horse” and intensifies, blinding the victim to the error.
●Deception follows error and others join in. Deception is far deeper in meaning than a simple error.
●A sect, meaning “section” within the church is the next deadly stage. Private interpretation and selected doctrines ignoring others, is the order of the day. Control begins to manifest.
●A cult is the final stage, where Satan rules supreme. The word “cult” comes from the word “culture” meaning illigitimate works and worship. Heavy domination and control take over.
The pathway is: Error – deception - sect – cult.
There are many signs along this deadly pathway, ultimately leading to hell. The biggest almost universal common factor is seen in the accompanying spirit of legalism, which is similar to witchcraft. It rarely manifests all in one go. It is progressive.
A key to identifying error or deception in teachers is often seen in their manner of operation. Many times they were “safe” teachers before. At some point, pride and self righteousness came in with an un-teachable spirit.
Be absolutely sure of this – they have no anointing of God although they claim it. Their “anointing” and “blessing” is a fraud of manipulative words, designed of the devil to entrap the weak or gullible.
They will ignore the majority consensus of a truth, bringing in new revelation, and gather around themselves an exclusive club- like group of supporters.
They believe that their inner circle is the real truth and all others are wrong and must be excluded from their “club”. They will speak against pride, using that as a cloak to hide their own pride.
Anything that is tinged with legalism has no Spirit of God in it. Legalism has an attractive spirit drawing people in. It is riddled with exclusivity. It manifests in control and bondages rather than liberty. It believes it owns its truth and it is that truth doorkeeper.
They say the opposite, but they are divisive, creating disunity in the body. This has been on the go since time began!
Listen to warning bells in your heart and see the spiritual red-lights flashing!
Knowing the works of the devil:
Satan’s “truth” is error. It is also “truth,” led, inspired and illuminated by him and his demons. Satan’s light masquerades as light but is deadly angelic darkness! (Matthew 6:22)
Revelation without the Spirit is dark light and dangerous because it looks real. (Luke 11:35)
The church has had an abundance of light, yet some have hidden it under a bushel! (Matthew 5:15)
“The truth will set you free”, says the Bible. But the truth in the devil’s hands will bring you into bondage in the name of freedom!
Satan wants you to accept and love him. He will use whatever he can to draw people onto that road to enslavement.
If you are really concerned about something that may be truth or error and you don’t know what to do. Judge it according to all truth – the Bible. Judge it according to the New Covenant epistles. Judge it according to well established truth from reliable sources. Judge it according to the still small voice of the Spirit in your heart. Listen to it, hear it and do it.
If you follow a particular teacher, take note of their track record in predictions and prophecies. Take note of their use of manipulation and lies. Above all take note of their repentance or lack of it, after they have fallen into an error.
By the way, most YouTube “prophets” and predictors have a 100% failure rate! They are also the ones who have never repented for the enormous damage they have done to the church.
Take note if the teacher you are concerned about is baptised in the Spirit with the evidence of tongues or not. This is essential for this day. I would go so far as to claim that any teacher without this baptism will not be able to remain consistently in the truth.
John 16:13 “When He, the Spirit of truth has (fully) come, He will guide you into all truth...and show you things to come.”
One of the most incredible fruits and benefits of knowing God’s word deeply is that it makes you a true psychologist. It makes you your own psychologist! It gives you insight and understanding of why people, including yourself, do things.
You can go and lie down on the couch in your lounge and analyse yourself – free. (Just don’t do it when others are watching you!)
The good teacher:
The end-time teacher must take you from time to eternity. He must lift you out of worldliness and the complacency of much of the church world today.
The real, true teacher must direct you away from himself! He must teach you how to follow and hear from someone else – The Spirit of God. Of course he must do that successfully.
Far too many preachers want to keep the sheep under their control. Sheep are God’s own people, not any others. Far too many men behind pulpits want to keep the sheep perpetually lazy. That keeps them in a job!
There is a huge danger in non-called teachers and ministers of the gospel.
As a teacher, you transmit what you are! So be careful out there. What are you transmitting?
Many times receiving a teacher’s words carries with it a transfer of the spirit of the teacher, because he is an authority figure.
Here are a few things which can be transmitted from an authority figure to the brethren: ●Authority, ●leadership, ●wisdom, ●encouragement, ●blessings, ●gifts of the Spirit, ●ministry gifts, ●the Holy Spirit. Also: ●Deception, ●error, ●discouragement, ●curses – and much more.
Judging the teacher:
Who you are at the very core of your character will manifest in your teaching. If you as a teacher have never been brought down to the ground and crushed like a worm in brokenness you will always be a dangerous teacher, full of self.
Teachers have an incredible responsibility upon them. They will receive a much stricter judgement. (James 3:1) They must be empty of self and full of God’s Spirit.
We are to “test the spirits to see if they are of God” (1 John 4:1)
Luke 6:40 “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.”
1 Timothy 6:3-5 “If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to the wholesome words of Messiah and to the doctrine which is according to godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words from which comes envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wrangling of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.”
2 Timothy 2:14 “Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive with words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers.”
There’s a reason why the same teachers always produce hogwash and fall into deception. The reason is that Satan knows he can use them. He knows their vulnerabilities. He knows that they are full of self – which is his domain!
He knows that they are full of pride of place (material standing), pride of grace (their own spiritual views,) pride of face (acceptance by others.) Satan knows that certain types won’t repent of error. He’s got them! (This analogy is from Derek Prince.)
It is up to you to judge these things in a teacher from whom you receive.
The teacher must be known by:
The teacher must be known for walking in the fear of the Lord, knowing it and teaching it. He must elevate and exalt the cross of Messiah and the personal walk of cross-bearing.
He must always elevate the tri-une God.
●He must uphold the veracity and authority of the entire Bible with no changes, additions or subtractions. ●He must not mix false doctrines with truth. ●He must not mix the philosophies of the world with the truth of scripture. ●He must not change or rename well established doctrines, bringing in new revelations.
Beware of progressive revelation. New revelation will never throw out the old. If any new revelation is of God it will simply shed new light on truth that has been there all along.
The end-time teacher must be able to endure hardship. (2 Timothy 2:3-4, Hebrews 12:7) He doesn’t sit complaining and whining about his tough time. He must not own an AK47.
Be careful of the manipulative methods of many, when peddling error. They use all sorts of “biblical” manipulation to get support or sympathy for their cause. They try to solicit love and empathy for themselves and more importantly, their gross errors.
The safe end-time teacher is one who is consistent. He knows well-established doctrine deeply. He is forever slain by the veracity and power of the word which he always elevates and exalts.
Beware of anyone criticising truth-seekers while holding onto gross error themselves! Never turn the other cheek to the spirit of error!
Be careful of the teacher who is neutral to the great sins of the world today.
Derek Prince once said: “A Christian who does not know his Bible has no right to hear from God.”
Titus 1:9-13 “Hold fast the faithful word as you have been taught, that you may by sound doctrine both be able to exhort and convict those who contradict...Therefore rebuke them sharply that they may be sound in the faith.”
2 John 1:10-11 “If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.”
Romans 16:17 “I urge you brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned and avoid them.”
2 Thessalonians 3:14 “If anyone (in the church) does not obey our word in this epistle, note that person and do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed.”
Gods purpose for Israel:
The end-time teacher will have Israel in her proper place. Israel is the spine of prophecy. Everything is connected to it. All God’s purposes and plans are wrapped up in the final seven years, very soon to begin.
Exodus 19:5-6 “If you (Israel) will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation...”
Do you know there is a Jewish Lion in heaven right now? He is the “Lion of the tribe of Judah” (Jews).
Jeremiah 30:5-7 “We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear and not of peace. Ask now and see whether a man is ever in labour with child? So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins like a woman in labour and all faces turned pale? Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it; and it is the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.”
There will be much more on this in the next two editions, God willing.
The end-time teacher must keep the pressure on!
Pressure produces growth and chases the riff - raff away. That’s what you want!
Many people come into the church and appear to be gloriously saved. They exhibit all the fruits of the Spirit. They make lots of “fruity” noises, pray loud and long, sing and dance like a prisoner released. Then when the pressure is on it’s all over and they’re gone.
It was hell fire and brimstone preacher Charles Finney 250 years ago, who had the most amount of converts remaining faithful to the Lord all their lives! He was no easy-believism preacher!
Think about this: The eternal reward state is compared to many things. One of them is, “wood, hay, stubble / gold, silver, precious stones, being hit by fire. (1 Corinthians 3:12) It is the first batch that goes up in smoke with no enduring result. It is also that first batch that is common and always around in large quantities!
The second batch is enduring, valuable and rare, not readily available or seen. What are you? What have you worked all your life for in service to our Lord? Are you a unique, rare, an exquisitely, spiritually beautiful being?
Another thing worth considering is that before your works stand the test of time, they must stand the test of fire! This fire is fair, beloved brethren! God gives rewards, but also fire to test them!
The final judgement is an eternal judgement. The one who does the most within God’s will, gets the most in reward! That’s the exact opposite of socialism, communism, Marxism and the like!
The end-time teacher sees the future!
It’s an awesome thing to see into the future! It is shattering, humbling, stirring and encouraging.
Daniel saw the future and was forever changed. Joel saw the future and was humbled. John saw the future and fell to the ground as dead. Many others had dramatic encounters and saw visions of hell, heaven, great glory and more. They were all affected severely and visibly.
God entrusted to these people His word on these powerful end-times, for all to read, study and see. These are some of the things the end-time teacher must know well and proclaim and teach.
The entirety of the end-time message is a most dramatic and powerful tool.
Colossians 1:28 “Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Messiah.
These are critically important days for you personally, and the corporate church. The church is under attack from outside and within.
Satan’s chief weapons, the world system and gross error are advancing. But you can and must advance further, higher, and better.
These are some of the most exciting times ever for the end-time teacher. What an incredible responsibility God has given him. What a day to live in!
I took this picture from a chopper, early in the morning flying in the Monks Cowl area of the Drakensberg Mountains.
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
