This website is distinctly Messianic, comprising the Abrahamic expression of faith, which is to the Jew and the Gentile with a Hebraic character. We affirm the fullness of absolute truth contained in the Bible, embracing the cross and identifying with the convocations of the Lord as seen in the Feasts, the Sabbath and Passover. We reject the legalism of many in the Messianic movement. We reject the Babylonian Pagan traditions of the church. We consider all people Jews and Gentiles and those in all churches who are truly born of the Spirit of the living God to be one family. We reject institutional organised denominationalism (division). We foresee a great falling away of much of the church in these days, while at the same time a great restoration of part of the church. We affirm and identify with God's plan and call to the Jewish people in these days and will support and stand with them as future brothers and sisters. We stand happily with pre / mid/ and post tribbers. Our slant is cautiously pre-trib, but hey, post tribber...you're still family! Today much error has been added to Christendom and much truth has been removed. The Prophetic Scroll's aim is to deal with these issues and assist you on your road to glory.
I was saved in 1976 and became extremely interested in Bible prophecy, being an ex war-correspondent and photographer. My calling and aim is to share the dramatic and all-important issues of prophecy relating to our day. This is a calling to unfold and share the wisdom of God as contained in His word. There is also much teaching in these pages for your heart. It’s not all prophecy! Please study these things further yourself and understand that the format is non-exhaustive. Please search the scriptures to “see if these be true.” This is a "watchman" and Bible prophecy teaching website.

Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

Earthly and heavenly inheritances:
Earthly and heavenly inheritances:
As the time draws near for many to step into eternity, it’s appropriate to have a close look at the destinies promised in the Bible for the true church, the false, counterfeit church, as well as the tribulation saints, both Jew and Gentile. It’s good to know where you’re going!
The distinctions revealed in scripture are very important for us to know. They also offer amazing insights into the rapture of the church.
Our three groups of people are: ●The dead who were saved through the new-birth and the saved who are living; in other words the church. ●The saved of the Old Covenant including the tribulation saints. ●The counterfeit Christians and spiritual frauds.
The inheritance of each group is eternal and unchangeable once eternity has been entered. Any and all changes in your life must be made and done now!
Set your heart and soul to know Him more – now!
2 Corinthians 5:15 “He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.”
Basics of our inheritance:
The inheritance of all those truly born-again of the Spirit of God is eternal life, which in reality begins even now. It includes rule and reign with our Lord in the entire universe, but will include ruling in this restored earth as well, but will not be limited to it.
Our inheritance includes the completion of our salvation in totally new supernatural bodies, with all knowledge and numerous supernatural powers and abilities, transcending the natural world.
Our bodies will be the same as that of our Lord after His resurrection and ascension. We inherit His very character and nature. We become “partakers of the divine nature.” (2 Peter 1:4)
Most importantly, our new bodies and resurrected lives will be sin-free and perfectly holy forever. We will be without any deformities, sicknesses or imperfections of any sort.
Romans 8:16-17 “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God, and if children, then heirs- heirs of God and joint heirs with Messiah, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”
The Bible reveals two destinations with God-given inheritances. One is for the true church and the other is for the Jews and tribulation saints. Israel and the church are distinctly separate entities with their own characteristics. Both are unique and with differing destinations – for the next 1000 years.
The church is called a “mystery” because salvation is internal and separates us invisibly from the world. The Jews are no mystery. They are the visible manifestation of God’s miraculous calling.
The church is born of God from above and is totally supernatural, while the Jews are born of natural man. (Except of course those who are born-again)
The inheritance of the true church:
The church is unique in all time. It is a “mystery” as far as the Old Covenant and the Israelites are concerned. (Ephesians 3:2-10, Galatians 6:15)
The church is described as “having its citizenship and blessings in heaven.” (Philippians 3:20, Ephesians 1:3.)
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 “...The dead in Messiah will rise first, then we who are alive and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
So here we have: The saved dead and the saved living, as one group with a specific resurrection called the rapture, and a specific destiny and inheritance.
These verses below reveal more on our destination and inheritance:
1 Peter 1:4-5 “Through resurrection, we have an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.”
Philippians 3:20-21 “Our citizenship is in heaven from which we also eagerly wait for the Saviour, the Lord Yeshua Messiah, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able to subdue all things to Himself.”
Ephesians 2:6-7 “He raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly places with the Messiah Yeshua that in ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kingdom...”
Do we have a heavenly or earthly inheritance and destination, or both? The answer is both. Our Lord Himself could and did zip between heaven and earth numerous times after His resurrection, at the speed of thought!
It’s not inconceivable that we will have the same privilege. Just maybe we will have wonderful heavenly homes and some pretty neat homes right here on the restored earth as well – just because we can!
Our inheritance and destination is far more spectacular than we can imagine, or more than most people have any idea of.
1 Corinthians 15:40-49 “There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies, but the glory of the celestial is one, and glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars, for one star differs from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body...we have borne the image of the man of dust, we will also bear the image of the heavenly Man.”
Hebrews 12:1 “We also are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses; let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.”
Revelation 22:5 “And there shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.”
The inheritance of the Old Covenant and tribulation saints:
Israel’s inheritance is the restored earth of the Millennium. It will be with human longevity restored. You may say that it’s not fair or equal for God to have an earthly and a heavenly destination for the two groups. That is God’s business, and I’m happy to leave it with Him!
Genesis 17:8 “I will give to you and your descendents after you the land in which you were a stranger – all the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”
Psalm 105:9-11 “He made His covenant with Abraham and gave His oath to Isaac and confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant, saying, ‘to you I will give the land of Canaan as the allotment of your inheritance.”
The Jews (and Gentile tribulation saints) will be the prime agents of God to restore the kingdom of God on the earth, in its original, pre-curse form. (Romans 9:26-29, Romans 11:26, Joel 2:32, Micah 4:7-8)
The centre of the earthly kingdom in the Millennium will be Jerusalem. (Isaiah 2:1-4, Zechariah 8:20)
The earthly Millennial kingdom will know and experience true peace. (Isaiah 9:6-7)
This earthly Millennial kingdom will not be the final act of God. (Revelation 21:1-5)
People will be in natural physical bodies, perhaps with some new supernatural dimensions, but essentially it will be natural and physical.
Isaiah 65:20-22 “No more shall an infant live but a few days, nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; for the child will die one hundred years...For as the days of a tree. So shall be the days of My people, and My elect shall enjoy the work of His hands.
People will again live for 800 to 1000 years, but they will die. There is no death for the raptured.
In the Millennium people will reproduce, but in the resurrection / rapture for the church there will be no marrying afterwards.
Matthew 22:30 “In the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.”
Luke 20:36 “In the resurrection they will neither marry nor can they die anymore...”
The two verses above are seen by some as applying to the final end of the Millennium. I’m not arguing or entering that debate.
►Jews who are born-again now are an exception in that they are part of the church. Ephesians 2:14-16, Galatians 3:26-29.
Destinations and the rapture:
If we have two very different destinations for the true church and for the Jews and tribulation saints, it goes without saying that there must be a different resurrection for each.
People who die now, who are within the true church, are immediately delivered to the presence of our Lord. They are not left in some holding-place to join those who will later become the tribulation saints.
The dead in Messiah, and those who are alive at the time will be caught up (raptured) to be with the Lord. The tribulation saints are never told that they will be “caught up to meet the Lord in the air” and then be rewarded in heaven while the tribulation is on the go on the earth. It just doesn’t fit!
The tribulation saints will all be collectively raised at the very end of the tribulation at the Second Coming. (Revelation 20:4-5) They will go into the Millennium right here on earth.
As there are different destinations for the church and the tribulation saints, so there are two resurrections, one called the rapture, separated by seven years.
Frauds, counterfeits and false Christians:
Psalm 10:13 “Why do the wicked renounce God? Because they have said in their hearts, ‘You will not require an account.’”
The great tragedy of many so-called Christians is that they think God loves them blindly and demands nothing of them!
It’s not wise to change God’s ways to suit your own. Today very few people, even in the church have a right heart after God!
Acts 28:26-27 “Go to this people and say: Hearing you shall hear and not understand; and seeing you will see and not perceive; for the heart of this people has grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing and their eyes have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart and turn, so that I should heal them.”
Jeremiah 7:23-24 “Obey My voice and I will be your God and you shall be My people, and walk in the ways that I have commanded you that it may be well with you.’ Yet they did not obey nor incline their ear, but walked in the counsels and the imagination of their evil heart, and went backwards and not forward.’”
There is an enormous group of people in the world who think they are saved because they say they believe. They may go to a church once in a while.
You will know them by their fruits which are:
●A major fruit of the counterfeit is ignorance of God’s word, with no interest in knowing it. ●No interest in deep, long study of the word, prayer, fasting, denial of self and taking up one’s own cross. ●You will know them by the fact that little has changed in their lives since they “believed.” They live for self. ●You will know them by the fact that they have no fear of the Lord.
●You will know them by the words they speak and the way they speak. “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” (Matthew 12:34)
●You will know them by all the fruits of the flesh as listed in Galatians 5:18-21. They are:
“Lusts, fornication, uncleanness, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissentions and heresies, envy, revelries.”
These are the people to whom our Lord will say: ●“Depart from Me, I never knew you.” (Matthew 7:21-23) ●These are the people who do not have enough “oil in their lamps” (Matthew 25:3) ●These are the people who presumed they would be saved on their good works and to whom our Lord says at the Great White Throne Judgement – “Anyone not found written in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire.”(Revelation 20:15)
Our Lord talks of the “resurrection of damnation.” (John 5:28-29) This is the end for the fake Christian and the unbeliever.
My friends, you need to be born-again from above by the Spirit of God, through the shed-blood, the cross and water. This means that the essence of “you” dies and you become a “new-born creation.” Believing is not enough. “Even the demons believe and shudder at their future.” (James 2:19)

Some inheritance and destination details:
Where are our new heavenly mansions? They are not on the earth. They are in heaven which will be our abode and headquarters, from which we will rule and reign in the whole universe. (John 14:2-3)
Our Lord said that He was “going away” to prepare our dwelling places in heaven. The abode of the tribulation saints is the earth. Just that alone proves two distinct destinations and inheritances.
What will your future body look like? Will you have any choice in the matter?
It’s not exactly clear, but some people maintain that we will have a choice in our appearance up to a degree. We must remember that we will be in an environment of total holiness and purity.
Our future eternal bodies will be set at about 30 years old. Medical science has recently discovered that DNA stops ageing at about 30. This is also more or less the time our Lord was crucified and rose again.
Okay – that’s not cast in stone – but I like it a lot, barely being able to walk these days!
We will maintain our essential identities and major characteristics, but our eternal future state will be purified and perfect.
We will differ from each other based on our works done while alive on earth and in response to God’s call and leading. (1 Corinthians 15:40-42, 1 Corinthians 3:12-14)
Part of our inheritance will be the rewards represented as crowns in some verses and as gold, silver, precious stones in others. There will be loss of reward for the times we were dumb turkeys.
Some people will be given greater authority in the resurrection than others, again based on their diligence and obedience to God’s word and call now.
The grand, glorious amalgamation:
At the end of time as we know it, which will be at the end of the Millennium, huge changes will take place. This present earth will be destroyed and re-made into something so spectacular and glorious we can’t even imagine it. The heavens (all the stars of the universe) will also be renovated.
Every single trace, spiritual and otherwise of sin and evil will be destroyed from the entire universe. It will be pure, holy and righteous forever.
This will be when all the unbelievers of all ages finally appear before God and are cast into hell.
This will be when saved Gentiles and Jews of all ages / dispensations come into one new, eternal dimension and purpose, amalgamated by our Lord with one purpose and with Him. This is called the “eternity of eternities” and we have no idea of the glory that lies ahead!
All people will have resurrection bodies. So the tribulation saints finally end up just the same as the true church. The unbeliever will also receive bodies that live forever, but will be imprisoned forever.
God knew all these things long ago and planned it all. He even knew, before the foundation of the earth, that you would become one of His own and then predestined it to be so. By the way, predestination is not that difficult to understand.
Predestination is based on God’s foreknowledge – simple. It’s like this: If you knew that your neighbour, who is an obnoxious pig now, would get saved next week, you wouldn’t greet him with “oink, oink” now, would you?
Numbers 14:21 “As I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.”
Hell – the inheritance of unbelievers
All humans live forever. All will see God. All unbelievers will have a glimpse of this universal glory from the dock of the Great White Throne courtroom. All unbelievers will retain and perhaps be given full knowledge like us. BUT it will be too late.
Their horror is that they will be imprisoned in the dungeon of hell for eternity, unable to escape the dark clutches of Satan, his demons and fallen angels. They will be in a supernatural prison of untold horror.
Can you imagine the horror of suddenly knowing all things and suddenly realising how wrong you were when the truth was right before you and you rejected it?
At the end of the day there will be few who are saved. Many who think they are are not. The problem today is that few people will pay the price – any price in fact.
Can you be saved and not believe the Bible? Can you be saved and never change your ways? Can you be saved and hang onto sinful lifestyles?
The answer is yes you can be, if your intention is to repent, reverse and change those things. If there is no intention to change, you may not have the indwelling Spirit at work in you.
Yes, of course salvation is not based on works, but if you have the Spirit of God in your heart, there will be evidences down the line.
Revelation 22:3-5 “There shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face and His name shall be on their foreheads and there shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light, and they shall reign forever and ever.”
Please note the last few words of this spectacular verse above! We will reign forever!
The word “reign” as used here is Strong’s G936 = “basileuo” meaning: “Kingly power, governorship and rulership.”
How amazing is that? My friends, we have the most incredible inheritance imaginable laid up before us. In time to come, we shall reign with our Lord forever and ever!
What or who will we reign over? I don’t know – I’ll tell you when we get there. But do remember that there is a whole universe out there!
Psalm 23:6 “Surely goodness and mercy shall pursue me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
I took this picture of a section of Lone Creek Falls in the forests of Mpumalanga, South Africa.
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
