24th January 2020
Shabbat Shalom to all!
More on 2020:
I have spoken on 2020 before, but this is an extension to my previous predictions.
I recently watched a compilation video of prophecies for 2020 by various Christian teachers, all put together. Let’s just say I rejected it all! It was nothing but pampering, financial promises for giving, man-pleasing, comfort-zone assuring, and of course all to the tune of “The Lord told me.”
They were all about “me, myself, and I”, the “me-now” materialistic, worldly church.
Of course they all missed the big prophetic events of our time – Israel!
So what is the Lord saying for 2020?
2 Chronicles 20:20 “O Judah and your inhabitants of Jerusalem, believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established. Believe His prophets and you shall prosper.” (Note the verse number above and below)
Exodus 20:20 “Moses said to the people, ‘Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.’”
Our Lord is saying that this will be the year Israel becomes prophetically central.
This will be the year of the true church standing as a “foundational pillar.” (1Timothy 3:15) upon which the Israeli dimension of His kingdom may rest. He is saying that He will use certain “watchmen opposite watchmen at the gate.” (Isaiah 52:8, 62:6)
These selected watchmen will together watch out for Israel, Jerusalem and the Jews. They will watch for the coming fall of the world! End-time Babylon the great, is a type of the world-system and it is due for a great fall.
Jeremiah 51:10-11 “The Lord has revealed our righteousness, come let us declare in Zion, the works of the Lord our God...His plan is against Babylon to destroy it.”
Isaiah 21:6-9 (The fall of Babylon) “The Lord said to me: ‘Go set a watchman, let him declare what he sees’...Babylon is fallen is fallen...”
The call of the watchman is to watch over words of truth and to watch for the enemy on the inside. It is to watch for all things prophetic relating to Israel, the church and the timing of it all.
A watchman speaks guides and warns, but you cannot speak without seeing first. The true watchman sees God’s word with substantial knowledge of it and revelation-eyes.
They will watch for Israel’s coming sight of the lifted veil and the falling veil of blindness on much of the church in pride.
The section of the church falling deeper into blindness will have their own “watchmen”, united as champions of deceptive error, leading their people to “find their lives in the world”! (Matthew 10:39, John 12:25)
The big message for 2020 is the veil lifting and a veil falling.
God’s work with and in Israel will become predominant, central and in the forefront. It will also be the great divider. It will divide between those who love the truth unreservedly, and those who don’t.
The 2020 church that stands with God’s plans for Israel will be persecuted and attacked, by many inside the corrupted church, and those outside in the world. But it will be blessed of God.
2020 is also the Hebrew year 5780, which translates as the 17th Hebrew letter “Pey” which means “mouth.” It symbolises victory. It has secondary meanings: “Speak”, “Blow”, and “Scatter.” The numeric value of “pey” is 80, which is prophetically significant.
This is the year of the mouth of the prophets and watchmen seeing and speaking for God. It will be the year of prophets and watchmen delivering guidance and blows to those in perpetual error.
It will also be the year of the blabber-mouths of the false prophets, who scatter rather than unify, and those who just talk plain rubbish in the name of the Lord.
The start of Israel’s salvation:
Joel 2:32 (Addressed to Israel). “It shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. From Mount Zion and Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the Lord has said, among the remnant whom the Lord calls.”
Romans 10:9 (Heading: Israel needs the gospel) “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, and you believe in your heart, that God has raised Him from dead, you will be saved.”
Psalm 80:5-7 “You have fed them (Israel) with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in great measure. You have made us a scorn to our neighbours, and our enemies laugh amongst themselves. Restore us O God of hosts. Cause Your face to shine and we shall be saved.”
Hosea 14:1-2-3 “O Israel, return to the Lord your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity. Take words with you, and return to the Lord, and say to Him, ‘Take away all iniquity; receive us graciously, for we will offer the sacrifices of our lips. (Repentance)
The Prophetic Scroll:
The overall purpose of The Prophetic Scroll (TPS) and me personally, is to glorify our Lord and His kingdom. It is to bring knowledge, understanding and wisdom to you of these things, particularly through the prophetic word of God. It is to warn, inform and reveal.
Job 22:28 “You will also declare a thing and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.”
The purpose of TPS is to present to you enlightened, spirit-led truth, without apology or the approval of man, denomination or institution, with no self-seeking. It is to stand with God’s exciting, dramatic plan for Israel and the church.
The problem today is that most churches don’t teach eschatology at all, so their congregations are largely in the dark.
There is a certain dryness and powerlessness in them, to say nothing of the fact that their spiritual ignorance lets the devil in with his “wisdom.” They won’t stand in the storms.
There’s a new church forming! It is doctrinally pure, with no mixture with Babylon, clean and glorious. This is just as the wide-road church plunges into deeper darkness.
Your own goals for the time ahead should include a greater depth of death to self and the world and strong determination to follow our Lord to glory, no matter what.
Don’t get bent out of shape with things that don’t matter. Don’t worry about pleasing others or what they will think. Don’t be one of those with regrets when you fly into the kingdom of glory.
Set your goal and focus on glorifying God in your life. These things you will never regret and be eternally thankful for.
O, yes – will it be Rosh Hashanah this year? Stay tuned!
Edition 344: December 28th 2016
What if you are not left behind?
What if you are not left behind?
New things lie before us in many more ways than one!
We all know the “Left Behind” series and the many other teachings out there on what to do if you are left behind at the rapture.
What if you’re not left behind at the rapture? Have you ever thought of the implications and the many things that will immediately set you into your unchangeable eternal state?
My objective in this edition is to provoke you to some serious thought and then serious action.
1 Corinthians 3:12-15 “If anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become manifest; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work it is...if it endures, he will be rewarded. If it is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.”
Can you be wrong on many issues and still be saved? What if you are wrong on many biblical issues and the rapture takes place and away you go?
What if the rapture takes place and you were quite right on many issues? What if your heart was wrong? What if your heart was right?
One thing you can’t do is go back and change things, make them right, and repent after you have gone in the rapture. You can change things now.
In this edition, I want to look at some of these eternal issues and what actually constitutes a truly successful Christian from God’s point of view.
Today we are in one of the worst times ever and one of the best times ever. The pressures to compromise are intense. Deception is rife. Sin and wickedness are advancing at a phenomenal rate. Hatred for the gospel and messengers of it is monumental.
But in the midst of all this “grace does much more abound.” (Romans 5:20). We can and must take the pressures and make them work for us. Cast off, reject and destroy from our lives all the evil and turn the tables and grow in purity and holiness.
The ways of the word:
The requirements for a truly successful life are just the same as they always have been.
“Study to show yourself approved to God”, or don’t study and show yourself approved to the world and man. Compromise will take the pressure off! You can Christianize and sanction the devil and make his ways your ways, but you will pay the price.
Jeremiah 15:16 “Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts.”
Job 23:12 “I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.”
The way to grow in the Lord is revealed in the verses above and the tragedy of the modern spineless Christian is revealed in the verses below, which are the way to be a normal worldly Christian neatly fitting in with the ever-changing world.
John 12:43 “They loved the praise and approval of men more than the praise of God.”
Galatians 1:10 “Do I seek to please men? If I still pleased men, I would not be a servant of Messiah.”
My friends, most Christians today live with this tragic “machine” driving them – seeking the approval of the world! The world will and does welcome them, but they doom themselves to the shallows of spiritual bankruptcy.
You defy the devil or accommodate and appease him. If you are wise you will resist him, then he will flee from you. If you don’t, do you think he will flee from you? You are inviting him to stay – a very stupid thing to do.
You must learn to love and devour the truth and reject error. If you don’t or won’t, truth then becomes relative, which makes it not truth.
Truth of God’s word must burn you, cut you and hurt you. But then it sets you on fire with an unquenchable godly fire of His glory. It sets you truly free! Being a man pleaser, a world appeaser, a pagan participator (Christmas etc) nullifies the power of the cross in you and makes you weak, blind, enslaved and imprisoned. You will be too blind to even see it.
Many can’t forsake their worldly traditions because it makes them odd with the devil and his people, and right with God.
The terrible tragedy is that most people can’t see that they are just another brick in the world’s wall – all just the same and powerless. They may well be saved – but by the skin of their teeth!
When the world begins to hate you for your righteousness, then you know that you are on the right track. When the word reveals the world to you and you see it clearly as a kingdom of darkness, you are on the winning way.
This is the time for more and more spineless preachers of compromise to make the church darker and darker and more ineffective. It is the time for more and more appeasement of evil and sin and for many to come against the truth and the bearers of the truth.
You will be known by people and by God, by your fruits. You will be known by what you compromise on, sanction and allow, and on what you take a stand on and resist.
Are you one with your traditions like Christmas and Easter for example? The cross divides and separates between the holy and the unholy. If you are still one with your pagan traditions, you do not know the power of the cross. You can’t defeat enemies while you think they’re your friend!
Traditions work in the same way that Hitler did. He said: “Make the lie big enough and say it often enough and the people will believe you.” This is what the devil does. He has done it through Catholic invasions of truth and through the media.
The compromised church of today:
The mainstream church today is how not to be! The church’s love affair with the world, its traditions, its sins and evils are mainstream today and have even infiltrated into many Spirit-filled churches.
The love and acceptance of sin and evil in the church is pandemic. It is commonplace.
Do not compare yourselves among yourselves or among the churches. Your measure is the word of God and the fruits it produces.
What you take a stand on is the backbone of your beliefs and shows who and what you really are. What you compromise on reveals how spineless and world-dominated you are.
Do you want great success in your life, with eternal consequences? Seek out what God sees as successful. Seek out what and who God truly blesses. Seek out what God’s favour always falls on and what He chooses, and simply choose the same things.
If you go in the rapture, you will immediately see and know all things! You’ll immediately know every sin, every thought, every good motivation, every right and wrong thing.
Imagine the unbeliever’s shock of arriving in hell and discovering that none of their born-again friends are there. Imagine the shock of arriving in hell and discovering that it is all real and not a nightmare and that the Bible was true all along!
If your God is not great in all His holiness, purity and judgement, you will not endure in these days.
At this time of the year, people often say to me “happy Christmas”. I say thank you but don’t return it. Sometimes they ask why and I say that I have nothing to do with Christmas. Before even wondering why, they get offended that their idol is not being placated. They don’t think because they can’t.
Ministers themselves promote pagan-rooted traditions without question!
The basics of the Christian faith:
The following are the titles of some brilliant books by Watchmen Nee. I’ve read them about 5 times over: “Not I but Christ.” “Love not the world.” “The Messenger of the cross.” “Spiritual authority.”
There is actually a progression in those titles alone. As we realise that “I” must go to the cross and be crucified, then love for the world begins to decrease. We then become the “crucified” messenger of the cross...We become the message! This is what gives us spiritual authority to overcome the world and defeat the enemy.
If you are on the right track you will: ●“Hate your life in the world”. (John 12:25) ●You will see yourself as “undone”. (Isaiah 6:5) ●“Death will be at work in you”. (2 Corinthians 4:12) ●You will be “decreasing as He increases”. (John 3:30) ●You will be empowered by the inexhaustible resurrection power of the cross. (1 Corinthians 1:18)
1 Corinthians 2:2 “For I determined not to know anything among you except Yeshua Messiah and Him crucified.”
This is all elementary. It is foundational of our faith and the way forward. It is the way of cross- bearing.
Trying to live the Christian life always results in failure. It always results in a works orientated life and a legalistic approach to the things of God. But when you give up and throw yourself on your face before our Lord and say “I can’t do this,” God says thank you very much, now we can get started.
Jeremiah 10:23 “O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.”
Eternal rewards are given for:
One of the purposes for the judgement of reward is to have our lives evaluated. There will be shame and sorrow as we stand before our Lord, but it will be just for a moment. It is to set us in our eternal state. We will differ from each other as the stars do - forever. (1 Corinthians 15:41-42)
The rewards consist symbolically of crowns: The incorruptible crown, the crown of rejoicing, the crown of righteousness, the crown of life, the crown of glory.
Rewards are also referred to as: Heavenly treasure (Matthew 6:20, 1 Peter 1:4) Special blessings. Special responsibilities will be given to rule with our Lord in the whole universe. (Matthew 19:28; Revelation 2:26.)
●A reward is given for “A glass of cold water given in His name.” In other words it is many small seemingly meaningless things. Please note a reward is not given for a glass of cold water given! It is for what is done in His name, for Him and His kingdom.
●“Those who are born of God will overcome the world” (1 John 5:4). We will be rewarded for beating the rat race and ignoring the Joneses.
●Rewards will be given for circumspect, non-greedy living and living with less.
●Rewards will be given for denial of self through the taking up of our cross daily.
●Rewards will be given for defence of the truth (2 John 1:7-8)
●Rewards will be given for standing with Israel.
●Rewards will be given for knowing Him and making Him known.
●Rewards will be given for hearing God’s calling for our lives, and doing it.
●Rewards will be given for being a radical Christian in all ways.
●Rewards will be given for judging rightly and well. (1 Corinthians 2:15)
●Rewards will be given to those who are kind and compassionate to animals. (Red setters in particular – yes you Joanne)
●Rewards will be given for generous giving and hospitality (Luke 6:38 James1:17)
●Rewards are given for prayer and fasting (Matthew 6:6)
●Rewards will be given for compassion for the suffering. (Matthew 25:37-40)
●Rewards will be given for being hated. (Luke 6:22-23)
●Rewards will be given for loving your enemies. (Luke 6:35)
●Rewards will be given for endurance (2 Corinthians 4:17-18, 1 Peter 1:6-7)
●Rewards will be given for quality work in employment (Colossians 3:23-24)
Loss of reward (Unholy smoke!)
The Bible likens the believer’s rewards to gold, silver, precious stones and wood hay and straw, all being hit by fire. A puff of smoke is all that will be left of the second group. It also says that some will have no enduring reward, but be saved so as by fire.
So what causes the loss of eternal reward in our lives?
It would be pretty much the opposite of many of the things listed above, but also our wilful sin.
It will most certainly include the following of false doctrine. It will be for getting wrapped up in legalism and following pagan, unholy, Bible-condemned traditions.
What is your life?
If I were to ask you, “What is your life?” You would come up with many good things that you have done in this world. If God asks you, “What is your life?” What would be your response?
Imagine wasting your life. Most can’t or won’t imagine it because they believe that are happy, successful people, and that is their measure of success. The problem that I am talking about is more real than what your eyes can see.
Today very few can take correction without getting bent out of shape and biting back at the one bringing them correction. We are in a world of extreme, excessive pride where people refuse to repent and change. They are spiritually disabled and crippled and doing eternal damage to their eternal reward-state.
Psalm 55:18-19 “He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle which was against me...They do not change, therefore they do not fear God.”
Proverbs 14:6-8 (Amp) “A scoffer seeks wisdom in vain, for his very attitude blinds him and deafens him to it, but knowledge is easy to him who is teachable and who understands. Go away from the presence of a foolish and self confident man, for you will not find knowledge in his lips. The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way, but the folly of self-confident fools is to deceive.”
Exodus 33:13-14 “I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know you, and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is your people. And He said, ‘My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’”
The power of the fear of the Lord:
Psalm 60:4 “You have given a banner to those who fear You, that it may be displayed because of the truth, that your beloved may be delivered.”
Job 28:28 “The fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.”
The fear of the Lord implies sensitivity to God.
The fear of the Lord is the most powerful experience we can learn. Without it there is great danger! The unsaved world will fear the Lord in the tribulation period, but it will be too late. “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:31)
The fear of the Lord comes by choice. (Proverbs 1:29) It then grows as you get to know God more and more, led by His Spirit.
In His presence your view of everything changes. You can’t create it or manufacture it.
This is the secret key. It is the way right into God’s presence. It is the way to genuine, real, deep knowledge, understanding and wisdom of God.
The fear of the Lord is a doctrine hated and resented by Satan his demons and the world. It is despised by lukewarm Christians and all wolves in pulpits.
One day all arrogant people will stand before God. One thing they will not do is say to God, “Now listen to me God, this is what I believed in life!”
Our Lord’s book of favourites:
Does our Lord have favourites? Is He a respecter of persons? He is not a respecter of persons in terms of who can be saved. But He most certainly is in the bigger picture. In fact He has His own special book of His special favourites. Here it is:
Malachi 3:16-18 A Book of remembrance: “Those who feared the Lord spoke with one another, and the Lord listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name. They shall be Mine says the Lord of hosts, on the day that I make them My jewels. I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him. The Lord shall discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not.”
Examine yourselves to see if you are in the faith, says the Bible. But it actually goes further. We also need to examine the things in our lives that we think we need but really don’t!
Those who stand with and for Israel will be great in the eternal kingdom:
Much of the way we should be is contained in the letter to the church at Philadelphia in the Revelation.
In loving Israel, we are choosing to love the object of God’s love. This is the seal of truth of our love for our Lord.
The church always suffers the effects when it loses sight of its Jewish roots and heritage. When it disobeys Gods command to choose the Jews, its foundation is cracked.
When you reject Israel and chose the Palestinians in their place, you are rejecting God and choosing Satan. It is Satan who has tried to choose Jerusalem. So pick your choice! But pick it wisely otherwise you will most likely end in hell with the leaders of Satan’s choice – the mass media.
Don’t tell me you love God if you love Satan’s choices! – You liar!
What you really love is evident in your words, what you talk about and what you do about it.
Zechariah 3:2 (Amp) “The Lord said to Satan, ‘The Lord rebuke you, Satan!’ The Lord who has habitually chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you.’”
Zechariah 2:12 “The Lord shall inherit Judah as His portion in the Holy Land and shall again choose Jerusalem.”
2 Chronicles 6:6 “I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there; and I have chosen David to be over My people, Israel.”
Zechariah 8:2-3 “I am zealous for Zion with great zeal; with great fervour I am zealous for her. Thus says the Lord: I will return to Zion, and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, the Mountain of the Lord of hosts, the Holy Mountain.”
The Spiritual Man:
Psalm 119:59 “I thought about my ways, and turned my feet to Your testimonies.”
Have you been examining yourself to see if you are in the faith? (2 Corinthians 13:5.) Have you been “numbering your days” (Psalm 90:12) to make them count with God?
If you are spiritual: ●You will know them by their fruits. ●You will know them by their liberty and freedom. ●You will know them by their judgements. ●You will know them by their hatred for the world. ●You will know them by the world’s hatred for you/them. ●You will know them by their fear of God. ●You will know them by their knowledge, understanding and wisdom of God and His word. ●You will know them by their identification of and rejection of error and deception. ●You will know them by their holiness. ●You will know them by their love for the eternal destiny and souls of men.
Your spiritual life is far more important than you may imagine. It has eternal unchangeable consequences wrapped up in every aspect of it.
My friends you are on the verge of becoming eternally valuable; don’t miss the opportunities.
1 Samuel 26:24 “As your life was valued much this day in my eyes, so let my life be valued much in the eyes of the Lord, and let Him deliver me out of all tribulation.”
I would rather be condemned, judged and rejected by the world for defying it, than be condemned by God for standing in defence of the world.
I took these pictures of the two giants – the baobab tree and the elephants in our neck of the woods. I’ve put the tree through some filter effects.
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
