The spread-rate of the coronavirus is starting to turn down as can be seen in this graph for the US. What adds more weight to it is the fact that this is a repeating pattern in many other places. Its early days, and it is still spreading, but it seems to have peaked.
- Some tribulation verses imply that people will carry on as normal with marrying, commerce and industry and the like. This is not a picture of lockdown!
- Gordon Brown calls on world leaders to form a “temporary” world government to resolve the medical and economic crisis.
- Now that Netanyahu is finally confirmed as the President of Israel for the next 18 months, expect some action against Palestinian aggression.
- Jews and Bible believing (evangelical) Christians are being blamed for Covid 19 by an article in The New York Times albeit indirectly.
- Two nights ago I was awakened suddenly at 2.30am by a loud sharp alarm bell of sorts going off. It was nothing I had heard before, or was from the area. It was so loud and vivid it shook me. I have had a similar experience before with a trumpet blast. I’m no dramatist with things like this. The sense I got in my spirit was one of urgency!

Hosea 4:3 (No truth, mercy or knowledge of God in the land) “Therefore the land will mourn; and everyone who dwells there will waste away with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air, even the fish will be taken away.”
Job 12:24-25 “He takes away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth, and makes them wander in a pathless wilderness. They grope in the dark without the light; he makes then stagger like a drunken man.”
2 Corinthians 5:15 “He died for all that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.”
Acts 20:24 “I do not count my life dear to me, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Yeshua, to testify to the grace of God.”
Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose of this report is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah.

Shabbat Shalom to all!
When the pressure is on:
What do you really do in thought and action when the pressure is really on and all things begin to shake?
It’s like the good -old toothpaste tube law: When you squeeze it, what’s inside comes out. This is when you see what’s really in your heart! “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” (Matthew 12:34)
Out of the heart under strain do you hear the mouth speak, shout, screech, swear, stress out, or be silent? Is your thinking stained, strained and stretched by stress?
Pressure sharpens your focus! It can cause you to curse or cause incredible blessing, if you change your focus to the things of God. Yes, a virus can change your focus to victory.
Tests create endurance, or in some cases cause people to give up.
Today we have a multitude of spiritually superficial, shallow shepherds, blind as a bat and deaf as a doornail to the voice of God, and with the mouth of many parrots leading their blind flock.
A lot of what you believe is related to the spiritual input from your spiritual fathers are and who you hang around with and identify with. In this day, you need to make sure who your spiritual friends are! You need to forsake many, and gather new ones.
I would feel a lot safer learning from a hell-fire and brimstone preacher of the cross than the modern, be blessed, be prosperous, be happy, positive-only preachers.
To construct this modern positive-only gospel, you have to remove all the “hard sayings and severity of the gospel. Their gospel becomes a half-baked ear-tickling tickle.
Endurance produces character. This is why a lot of the modern church is so spineless.
Some churches, you dare not walk into. They need a big sign outside saying “Enter at your own risk” or better still, “Danger, do not enter”
James 1:3 “Know that the testing of your faith produces patience (Lit=endurance) “
When the pressure is on beware of the pressure to err! Many times pressure causes you to run away and take the easy, wide road with the multitudes. That’s when you fall into error and then fear. When you have decided to take the easy erroneous road, don’t think God will help you along.
Isaiah 30:28 “His breath is like an overflowing stream, which reaches up to the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of futility; and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.”
If your heart is not right with God, why should He lead you into all truth? The verse above applies to the world, but the principle is universal.
We are seeing a massive rise in deceptive teachings particularly relating to Israel, to the pre-tribulation rapture and the tribulation period.
As God prepares to move in new ways with Israel, there will be alarming and dramatic signs. The thrilling sounds of the shofar are shattering the midnight sounds of silence over Jerusalem even right now. (Literally!) The alarm of awakening is sounding; the ancient walls of Jerusalem are vibrating and reverberating with the breath of the Lion of the tribe of Judah – arising ready to roar onto the stage!
This is the time to reach out to the Jews with the good news of salvation in their Jewish Messiah – our Messiah. This is the time to throw out and destroy the obstacles to them coming in to the kingdom, created by the church.
If God has finished with the Jews, as many teach, how do you explain the great regathering to the land? Do you think that is just God having fun, or that it’s just meaningless coincidence?
In this day you are in trouble if you do not know how to discern the voice of truth.
You cannot obey the voice of the Lord if you can’t hear the voice of the Lord. The voice of the letter of the word is not the voice of the Lord. It is dead letter and produces death, legalism and bondage. (2 Corinthians 3:6, Galatians 5:9)
These are very dangerous days, not so much because of any virus, but because required repentance is being ignored and the source of “truth” for the people is the devil’s deceivers – the media.
A good starting presumption is not to trust the mass-media. Regard it with automatic suspicion. Obviously I’m not talking about a hard news event, but all their “exalted” opinion pieces.
Isaiah 2:12 “The day of the Lord of hosts shall come upon everything proud and lofty, upon everything lifted up.”
What follows is some of the sermon or book titles of my own spiritual fathers. I cut my spiritual teeth on this lot, starting in the late 70s. Some of these great men of God would be scorned and rejected today. But their work stands with transforming power, for the few that find them.
These wonderful discipleship teachers of old, pulled the rug out from under you, condemned the hell out of you, and often times left you floored, in surrender to our Lord, in a manner that caused you to be so very thankful! I would trust my life with them!
My aim is to show that just in the titles alone, you can see that they are of another glorious world: (My library contains thousands more.)
Derek Prince: ●Fierce times are coming. ●I will shake all things – the nations, the church and Israel. ●Facing the last days without fear. ●Living in a world falling apart. ●Evil forces of the end times. ●The Spirit of Antichrist ●Disasters that are about to come upon the earth. ●Facing God’s judgment.
Watchman Nee: ●Not I but Christ. ●The messenger of the cross. ● A living sacrifice. ●The spirit of judgement. ●Salvation of the soul. ●Love not the world.
Charles Finney: ●How to be free from the world. ●Victory over the world.
AW Tozer: ●That incredible Christian. ●The divine conquest. Gems from Tozer.
Looking at the titles should give you an idea of the content. How many of these titles do you hear preached today? By the way I have ‘devoured’ these books, tapes and teachings and thousand more about eight times each. I have about 300,000 pages of hand written notes from them.
Be blessed as you prepare your heart mind and soul for the glorious appearing of our Lord – soon and very soon!
Edition 334: October 19th 2016
Amazing prophetic insights:
Amazing prophetic insights:
In this edition I want to have a further look at some things we have just touched on before and others not at all. Most of these things relate to the rapture of the church and the following tribulation period.
When we pre-tribulation rapture believers, look at the tribulation period, there is always a sense of glorious victory and thankfulness that we will “escape these things.” The post-tribber always looks ahead to the tribulation with fear, gloominess and despair!
Most of this edition requires pure simple logic. I know that many will bear witness to these truths and their hearts will leap for joy!
Luke 21:25-26 (Amp) “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars, and upon the earth distress, trouble and anguish of nations in bewilderment and perplexity, not knowing which way to turn at the roaring of the tossing sea. Men will swoon away and expire with fear, dread and apprehension and at the expectation of the things that are coming upon the world, for the very powers of the heavens will be shaken.”
Psalm 19:9-11 “The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever. The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether, more to be desired than gold, fine gold, sweeter than honey and the honeycomb. By them, Your servant is warned, and in keeping them, there is great reward.”
Insights into the tribulation period:
Right up front let me say that the true, born-again church will not go through any part of the tribulation. But not all who think they are the church are the church! Many entire churches will go right into the tribulation!
Many are believers in name only. Their hearts are far from God, as can be seen in their fruits and love for the world.
All of the unsaved will go into the seven-year tribulation. Many will get saved and become “tribulation saints”. Many will turn viciously against God, cursing him, knowing that the judgements are from Him.
The entire world system will be destroyed in the seven-year tribulation. We as believers are offered a great escape before it all goes bang.
Bible names and descriptions of the tribulation period:
●Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7) ●Seventieth week of Daniel for “My people” (Jews) (Daniel 9:27) ●Day of Israel’s disaster (Deuteronomy 32:35), (Obadiah 1:12-14) ●The wrath of God (Revelation15:1) ●The hour of judgement (Revelation 14:7) ●The day of distress and tribulation (Deuteronomy 4:30) ●The overflowing scourge (Isaiah 28:15, 18). ●The day of vengeance (Isaiah 34:8) ●The year of vengeance and retribution (Isaiah 34:8) ●The day of wrath and ruin (Zephaniah 1:15) ●The day of darkness, blackness, and gloominess (Zephaniah 1:15)
Let’s string these descriptions together:
Coming upon “My People” (Jews) is disaster for Israel, the wrath of God, the time of judgement, distress and tribulation. An overflowing scourge, vengeance and retribution, is coming. Ruin, darkness, blackness, gloominess.
If you look at the character of these points above, and there are many more, you can only come to the conclusion of a pre-tribulation rapture. Since when is even one of these points above due to come upon the church?
The very purpose of the tribulation period is to bring Israel to salvation and to bring wrath, punishment, vengeance, judgement upon the world for its sin.
We, as believers have been brought to salvation and received the judgement and punishment due to us. Our Lord paid the price and gave the resulting salvation to us as a free gift.
On the cross, in the agony of suffering for us and payment of the price for all our rebellion, our Lord said “IT IS FINISHED.” That meant the payment for all sin was finished and completed by the cross. The only condition is that it must be believed and received, through the new-birth.
If you say the church now has to pay again for our sin by the events of the tribulation, you are saying, His work is NOT FINISHED. You are the deceived liar. How dare you tell our Lord His work on the cross was incomplete!!
I hope you also see why there will be such great regret, sorrow, sadness, gnashing of teeth, weeping and wailing by the masses during the tribulation.
Imagine the shock of discovering (too late) that all these horror judgements are due because of sin, evil and wickedness. But that someone had came along and fully paid the price for them all, so that they could go free. And they rejected Him. Now they must pay up!
Imagine the shock of having to pay for something that was already paid for, but you rejected it, and now you can’t pay because you are full of the disease that you want to be free from. You can’t pay for sin with sin! You can only pay for sin if you have no sin!
Amazing insights into the people of the tribulation:
The verses I’m going to use below are most interesting, but few people have any idea what is fully contained in the messages.
●Note in these verses below, that they all occur in the tribulation period. ●Note that they deal exclusively with the Jews and not the church! ●Understand that the great commission given to the church has been taken over by Jews in these tribulation verses. ●The conclusion must be that the church is not here during the tribulation and God is completing His initial call to the Jews given in the days of Abraham.
Zechariah 8:22-23 “Many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord. In those days, ten men of every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”
Isaiah 49:6 “I also will give you (Israel) as a light to the Gentles, that you should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.” (Context from surrounding verses is during the tribulation.)
Isaiah 55:5 “Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, and nations who do not know you shall run to you (Israel,) because of the Lord your God, and the Holy One of Israel; for He has glorified you.” (Context is in the tribulation.)
Isaiah 60:2-3 “Behold the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you (Jews), and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”
There are so many other verses like these. In terms of correct Bible hermeneutics, interpretation and application, you can only say that the Jews are the primary focus in the tribulation.
►We have now seen that the tribulation is to bring judgement and punishment on the sinful world. We’ve seen that the Jews do the work that the church should be doing and we’ve seen that the church is mysteriously absent during the tribulation. Where is the church?
So, why is the church not fulfilling her role as evangelists and mission workers in the tribulation? Consider the following:
Ambassadors of Messiah:
In a few passages, the Bible refers to true born-again believers as “ambassadors for Messiah” (2 Corinthians 5:20). The word “ambassador” means a non-permanent envoy or messenger.
The ambassador to a foreign nation was historically called home first before a declared war would start.
Isn’t that an amazing insight? Even today, when a nation goes to war with another, the ambassadors deliver the judgment and are then recalled. If we are the Lord’s ambassadors to this world, and the war of the entire tribulation period is coming soon, where would we be recalled to?
If we are “aliens and exiles” (1 Peter 2:11) in this world, temporary, non-permanent envoys, our home “nation” is heaven! That means a pre-tribulation rapture!
We are to be faithful ambassadors of a lot more than salvation only. We must deliver the news of the coming judgement. We must represent and describe our eternal home country as well. It is a powerful tool of evangelism.
If the future universe, our home, is pure, holy, sinless and righteous, that is what we must present to Satan’s world.
Please understand that the course of the world (Ephesians 2:2) is constantly moving further away from God, while the absolutes of God’s word have not and are not changing to accommodate the world.
Quite an insight:
2 Thessalonians 2:1-7 “Concerning the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah and our gathering together to Him, we ask you not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit, or by word or by letter as if from us that the Day of the Messiah has come.. Let no one deceive you by any means, for that Day (tribulation period) will not come unless the falling away (departure) comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition...and now you know what is restraining, that he might be revealed in his own time...He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.”
I’ve highlighted the “departure”. The original word used has the definite article in front of it, meaning that it is wrongly interpreted as a general “falling away” of the church. The correct word (and it is in Strong’s), is “the departure” of the church.
Do you see how one single word can change an entire meaning?
The character of the whole world changes in a flash at the rapture. It’s not simply because of the rapture, but because the antichrist steps unrestrained, onto the world stage then. The dispensation changes immediately at that point.
As we have seen, the purpose of the tribulation is to bring judgement and punishment on the world. It is to bring Israel to salvation and restoration. The church is already saved and made holy and righteous.
Zechariah 8:13 “It will come to pass that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing.”
Romans 11:15 “If their (Jews) being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be, but life from the dead.”
Isaiah 49:22-23 “Thus says the Lord God: Behold I will lift My hand in an oath to the nations (Gentiles), and set up My standard for the peoples; they shall bring your sons in their arms and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders. Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers; they shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord, for they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.”
Why in the tribulation do the Jews preach to the Gentiles? Why is there such a powerful consistent theme of the Jews blessing the world? That is the church’s job!
Here we see a job which was given to the church being performed in the tribulation by the Jews. This is the blessing of God going to the nations.
Again it begs the same logical question. Where is the church? – Have a guess!
Isaiah 13:6-13 “Wail for the day of the Lord is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty...every man’s heart will melt, and they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrow will take hold of them; they will be in pain as a woman in childbirth. They will be amazed at one another; their faces will be like flames. Behold, the day of the Lord comes, cruel with both wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate; and He will destroy its sinners from it...I will punish the world for its evil; I will halt the arrogance of the proud...Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth will move out of its place, in the wrath of the Lord.”
The single greatest reason for the tribulation period is spiritual. It is because the world will not accept the only legitimate payment for sin – all sin, including the hidden sin-nature born of Adam, flowing in all unbelievers.
It is only the shed-blood and sacrifice of the cross that is the full, once-off payment.
If we were in any part of the tribulation, we would be partaking of the punishment and judgement for sin upon the Messiah-rejecting world. We would be twice judged for sin. This would also mean that the work of the cross was insufficient and unfinished in dealing with our sin.
The cross or the tribulation:
Repentance for salvation is a one-time event. The new birth is a one-time event. You don’t get born again, again and again each time you sin. If you have rightly divided between body, spirit and soul and applied the right verses, to the right areas of your life, you will see and know this.
On-going repentance is in the area of the soul, not spirit. It can be likened to humility, fear of the Lord, sorrow for sin, straightening out your life and the like. For the true believer the power of sin has been removed, but we still need to deal with its lingering effects and invasions into our minds.
The world’s sin, evil and wickedness is heading for a confrontational end under the wrath, judgement and punishment of God.
The world has a choice. It does not have to go that way. It can choose the judgement poured out upon our Lord and Saviour as a substitute, at the cross.
We do not pay twice for our sins! It’s the way of the cross or the way of the wrath of God!
At the Great White Throne Judgement, we see the unsaved trying to be saved based on their works. “Books were opened. Their names were not found in the Lamb’s book of life.”
Now, their own personal book of all their works is opened, because they have chosen salvation based on their works. This is the horrifying tragedy of most of the world, including its great people. They really do think that if there is a God He would save them because they’re good people.
The big mistake they have all made is believing that they can pay for sin with sin. They didn’t know that the required passing grade is 100% and they are now bankrupt.
Only our Lord lived a sinless life. Only He could pay fully for sin, and He gives it to us at the new-birth...for free!
Unfortunately those who choose the tribulation method of payment for sin will still not make it. What a shock to have to pay with the world for all its sin and then have to stand before the Lord to personally pay for all their own sin again and still end in hell.
Talk about failure!
I know I’ve laboured this point a fair bit, but how many unsaved people do you know that think they’re okay?
The nature of the world:
I was looking for a verse the other day. So I was going through thousands of my hand written and categorised notes as I often do. One old yellowed page of notes that I wrote in about 1980 jumped out at me. So here is a summarised view of just what it was that jumped out:
1 John 2:15-16 (Amp) “Do not love or cherish the world or the things of the world, if anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh (craving for sensual gratification) and the lust of the eyes (greedy longings of the mind) and the pride of life (assurance of one’s own resources or the stability of earthly things) – these do not come from the Father, but from the world itself.”
The world has a hidden god. If the veil were lifted, people would be shocked! The world is ruled by Satan, hosts of demons and evil spiritual forces, masquerading as good angels of light. Here are a few of the many Bible descriptions of the world:
●All of the works of the world are evil (John 7:7). ●The entire world, not just bits of it, “lies under the power of the evil one.” (1 John 5:19) ●This evil beast is the one who “deceives the whole world” (Revelation 12:9). ●The kingdom of God is not of this world. (John 18:36). ●It is impossible for the world to receive the truth (John 14:17). ●The world is on course, heading for destruction. (Ephesians 2:2) ●The world’s wisdom is the essence of foolishness. (1 Corinthians 3:19). ●The world blinds the minds of the unbeliever. (2Corinthians 4:4). ●The world has a multitude of variable values contained in its many mixed voices. (1Corinthians 14:10)
The answer to the world:
●We are to be crucified to the world. (Galatians 2:20) ●Set you mind above the world (Colossians 3:2). ●As our Lord is now, so are we in this world – way above it! (1 John 4:17). ●The kingdoms of the world will become the kingdoms of our God after judgement upon it. (Revelation 11:15). ●We are not conformed to the world and its ways. (Romans 12:8). ●We are aliens and exiles in this world – not part of it! (2 Peter 2:11). ●We are in this world for now, but not of it. (John 17:14) ●We are to hate our lives in the world. (John 12:25).
I took this picture at a waterhole at the magnificent, enormous, Etosha Game Reserve, Namibia. Etosha is 22,200 sq km, while the Kruger Park is 19,000 sq km.
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
