This website is distinctly Messianic, comprising the Abrahamic expression of faith, which is to the Jew and the Gentile with a Hebraic character. We affirm the fullness of absolute truth contained in the Bible, embracing the cross and identifying with the convocations of the Lord as seen in the Feasts, the Sabbath and Passover. We reject the legalism of many in the Messianic movement. We reject the Babylonian Pagan traditions of the church. We consider all people Jews and Gentiles and those in all churches who are truly born of the Spirit of the living God to be one family. We reject institutional organised denominationalism (division). We foresee a great falling away of much of the church in these days, while at the same time a great restoration of part of the church. We affirm and identify with God's plan and call to the Jewish people in these days and will support and stand with them as future brothers and sisters. We stand happily with pre / mid/ and post tribbers. Our slant is cautiously pre-trib, but hey, post tribber...you're still family! Today much error has been added to Christendom and much truth has been removed. The Prophetic Scroll's aim is to deal with these issues and assist you on your road to glory.
I was saved in 1976 and became extremely interested in Bible prophecy, being an ex war-correspondent and photographer. My calling and aim is to share the dramatic and all-important issues of prophecy relating to our day. This is a calling to unfold and share the wisdom of God as contained in His word. There is also much teaching in these pages for your heart. It’s not all prophecy! Please study these things further yourself and understand that the format is non-exhaustive. Please search the scriptures to “see if these be true.” This is a "watchman" and Bible prophecy teaching website.

●Again we are in a lull before the prophetic storm, with nothing much of prophetic significance occurring right now. But don’t shut your eyes for one minute! Things can and will change fast!
●Keep an eye on Yemen as fighting escalates. It is ancient “Dedan” of “Sheba and Dedan” fame in Ezekiel 38:13 – the war of Gog and Magog. Sheba is Saudi Arabia. Both end up as allies of Israel.
Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

The miracle of the Bible:
The miracle of the Bible:
1 Corinthians 2:12-14 “We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we speak not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
In the invisible realm are spirits of truth and spirits of error. They are spirits and not just belief systems! (1 John 4:6) We are to test these spirits (1 John 4:1).
Everything about being a true child of the living God, born into His family by the new birth is supernatural and miraculous. We don’t always see the miraculous but it’s there, and it all comes from a book spewing death or life to its readers.
In many cases it is the church minister or hierarchy that kills the word, transforming it into an instrument of dead letter that kills. But at the end of the day, it’s always up to you personally, to meet the requirements for the Bible to come to life.
2 Corinthians 3:6 “He made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.”
John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words I speak to you are spirit and life.”
The church minister is not a minister of words. He is a steward of the supernatural Spirit of God. Today, very few ministers are properly equipped stewards of the supernatural, contained in the words of the Bible.
Matthew 22:29 “You are mistaken (lit=deceived), not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.”
Do you see the incredible importance in this one single verse above, of knowing the truth? All deception and gullibility comes in on the wings of ignorance of God’s Spirit-breathed word.
Many times in your quest for the truth, the Spirit of God will lead you out of organised, institutional churchianity. But be careful; make sure the Spirit of God is leading you.
The miracle Bible must make you a living miracle. It has the power to do just that. If it’s not, you need to go and check your sources.
The Miracle of the Bible:
There are so many miracles around and about the Bible. The very existence and survival of the Bible after some 4000 years is one of them. The greatest miracle of all is the fact that it has and still does change lives totally and dramatically.
●The Bible has been the cause of more wars, killing and bloodshed than any other book. More people have been killed as a result of the Bible, or should we say the misuse of the Bible than any other book.
●No other book ever has been more popular since its creation than the Bible. No other book has stood securely in the face of so many attacks upon it through the ages.
●No other book ever written has been described as a book bringing death to its readers or the life of God, depending on how you approach it.
●No other book ever written looks into the future and tells you just what is coming – and it does!
●No other book ever written has a 100% success rate in fulfilled prophecy.
If the Spirit of the living God is alive and active in your heart, you have the author of the Bible right there in your heart! He’s not out there in some pub or behind some pulpit.
The Bible is 4000 years old in all, with the New Covenant just under 2000 years old. It has a consistent harmony in message. It was written by 66 authors, but actually, One single author – the Holy Spirit. The real name is the Holy Bible! Countless attacks against it and part of it have failed to do it any harm.
God and His word are One.
God transferred the word to the Son and the Son to the Spirit. The word is now shed abroad in our hearts. We must make the word of God our close and personal, deep, eternal friend, just like our Saviour.
There are so many wonderful mysteries still to be revealed in the Bible. There are many that have been revealed like hidden messages in codes, colours, languages, numbers and mathematics.
There is so much evidence available out there on the supernatural content and workings of the Bible. In our day, so much is being discovered proving the miracle of the Bible. We see much in the realms of science, technology, history, archaeology and so many other fields, proving the Bible to be true.
Different types of codes have been discovered and are being used by some men of God to come up with the most amazing discoveries.
For me, one of the most amazing is the code, for want of a better term, identifying incredible mathematical patterns in the Bible. The original Bible was written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, all alpha – numeric languages. In other words, each letter of the alphabet also has a corresponding number associated with it.
This means that you can simply add up the numeric value of a word. In the Bible, numbers also have meanings, derived from verses using the numbers. This is widely held. For example: ●One = unity. ●Two = division. ●Three = trinity. ●Four = the world. ●Five = grace. ●Six = man under sin. ●Seven = spiritual perfection. ●Eight = resurrection. ●Thirteen = rebellion to God.
Amazingly every single name and title for our Lord in the Bible adds up to a multiple of eight, with the exception of one, which is the title nailed to the cross, “Yeshua of Nazareth, King of the Jews”, which adds up to a multiple of thirteen (rebellion to God). This is because on the cross, He became our sin and rebellion! (There is much, much more about this, which I can’t get into now.)
Not surprisingly, every single title and description for all enemies of God in the Bible, including Satan, adds up to a multiple of thirteen, which is rebellion.
Consider the following:
Here’s another miracle revealed in the original texts of the Bible. In the Old Covenant the titles for God and some of the people involved in the flood story, all have meanings. In fact the meanings, when written out in table form and read from top to bottom, paint the entire story of salvation!
The very survival of Israel and the Jewish people is itself a spectacular ongoing miracle.
We are brothers in arms with the Bible and its supernatural word on Israel.
You can’t grow spiritually in isolation from the Bible – the full and complete Bible!
The Bible and its relationship to the world, self, and the demonic:
Because the Bible contains the Spirit of God within it, and its words are potentially “spirit and life”, it is in conflict with and on a collision course with everything of the spirit of the devil, demons and the coming antichrist.
As we know, the devil works through the sin nature or self-life (flesh), the world and the demonic. So, obviously, all of these areas are going to need the word of God applied to them. The Bible tells us that these are the main key areas of our lives that need to have the cross applied to them on an ongoing basis, subsequent to our salvation.
These three areas (self, world and demonic) will be the areas that you will be able to look at objectively, from God’s point of view, to see if you are on the right track. “I have been crucified to the world” says the Bible. (Galatians 6:14)
1 John 2:15 “Do not love the world or the things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
1 John 5:4 “Whoever is born of God overcomes the world.”
Those who are truly born of God, and desperate to change, and to get to know our God more, will go through a conflict and identity crisis. The supernatural power of the devil to keep his people blinded and trapped will start losing its grip and influence.
As you take up your cross daily and apply it to these areas, you will see miracle-changes begin to occur in your life.
You won’t see it all in one go, but see it you will and must.
One of the dramatic changes that you will undergo is in the area of self orientation and domination. You must apply the words of the Bible – “I (self) have been crucified; it’s no longer I who lives, but our Messiah who lives in me.” (Galatians 2:20)
As you do this, your life’s orientation changes from me, myself, I, to an outward looking orientation. Your life will begin to desire to live for God, obey Him and serve Him and others. With many, this comes as a shock. I know it did with me. For a long time I couldn’t understand what this new power was in me that made me desire my God and His people. I was extremely worldly in all my ways, and quite quickly, all of that changed.
1 John 2:3 “By this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments (word.) He who says ‘I know Him but does not keep His word, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know we are in Him.”
What of the demonic?
1 John 2:18-19 “Little children, it is the last hour; and you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but were not of us; for if they if they had been of us, they would have continued with us, but they went out that they might be manifest, that none of them were of us.”
People who are not “of us” or “of God” will not endure. The forces of the demonic will cause them to ultimately fall away and turn back to the home of demons – the world. It will become manifest that they are not of us. There will be no supernatural power of God in them to cause them to endure and attain the many victories that are required.
The work of the demonic in a believer will always manifest with the same or similar fruits. They will not endure. They will be full of stress. They will not be at rest. They will be filled with legalism and judgmentalism. They will ignore the work of the cross or play it down. They will be full of pride and love for materialism. They will love their lives in the world.
1 Corinthians 3:19 “The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God...He catches the wise in their craftiness...The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise are futile.”
1 Corinthians 14:33 “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.”
2 Timothy 3:15-17 “You have known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in our Messiah. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
The above portion of scripture is so very powerful. Note that it is knowledge of the Holy Scriptures that are able to make you wise. More than this, they are able to make you endure; give you hope, faith, peace, victory and so much more!
The word is a light and lamp:
Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light to my path.”
Psalm 43:3 “Send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to your tabernacle.”
Do you think our Lord knows where we are prophetically? Of course He does. His light is shining on His path now in terms of where we are prophetically. He leads and guides us according to our time now. If your minister is not shedding any light on the most important, dramatic issues of our day, which have eternal consequences, he is speaking his own useless words.
Do you want to know if your church is on the right track? Is it a light and lamp now? Are you receiving the now-word? Are you being taught Bible prophecy?
The messy church and its leaders:
With so many people ill-taught and half taught today, and so many in love with the world, when the pressure is on and the shaking begins (which will be very soon), they will all see how far behind they have been left, and how much they need to catch up!
When you meet fellow believers, you can immediately tell, which one’s experience comes from many hours, months and years of Spirit led study of the word and you can also tell which one’s experience is shallow, superficial, second hand, and mixed with worldly ideas.
I cut my spiritual teeth on the old-school, hell- fire and brimstone preachers whose knees were scarred from praying and who had spent 40 years or more pursuing our Lord. There are none like that today, especially the young so-called ministers.
2 Timothy 4:2-3 (Amp) “Preach the word! Keep your sense of urgency...show people in what way their lives are wrong. Convince, rebuke, correct, warn and encourage them. For the time is coming when people will not tolerate and endure sound and wholesome instruction (doctrine), but having ears itching for things pleasing and gratifying, they will gather to themselves one teacher after another, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, and will turn aside from hearing the truth.”
Is your church open to the moving of the Holy Spirit? Let me share with you a little secret. Quite amazingly, you’ll find that churches which don’t teach, preach and experience the full moving of the Spirit (through the baptism of the Spirit), don’t teach or preach Bible prophecy.
Even in this day of fast moving prophetic fulfilment many churches are silent on the subject. Do yourselves a favour...get out and run away! Not from the Lord, but those who ignore what the Spirit is saying now.
1 Thessalonians 5:19-22 “Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast to what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.”
2 Peter 1:21 “Prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God, spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”
Truth is always attacked by error! Isn’t it interesting that those that are in the Spirit, and open to the full 27% of the Bible which contains prophecy, are almost always attacked by the dead, Spirit-less, blind- to- prophecy bunch?
I would rather go to the planet mars than some of those churches. At least I don’t think the devil indwells the men on mars.
My friends, you must understand that moving forward in and with our Lord can be quite a fight sometimes. That’s because we are in a spiritual universe.
1 Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
Jude 1:3 “...I exhort you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.”
A supernatural hatred:
People have tried to water the Bible down, change it and make it un-holy – all to their own eternal detriment. Anyone who even wants to change it, is demon possessed and to be avoided. Of course there are translational errors and differences in the Bibles out there, but they are mostly not major doctrinal changes and were not made by intention.
You need to reject totally, throw away, any Bible that changes foundational doctrines. Today as Satan sees his days are short, he is at work in this regard!
The Catholic church produced the dark ages. A time of mass murder and hatred to put Hitler to shame! They removed the Bible from society during this time. Wherever the Bible was cast down or reinterpreted, the result was advancing evil, sin and wickedness.
►In fact, a Spirit-less Bible causes division – denominations! (Jude 1:19)
True believers will receive not one but a number of different eternal crowns for various things. Excuse me for going off on this tantrum: Kings or queens don’t wear their crowns all the time. The crown is a symbol of their authority. They wear the crowns at important events.
At important events the leaders of the Catholic and Anglican churches, since their foundation, wear their crowns. You’ve seen it many times. Their crowns are called the mitre. It is a fabric embroidered crown made in the shape of a fishes head with the mouth open.
The origin of the mitre (without any question, universally believed), is the crown worn by Babylonian priests, at important events in dedication to the satanic, pagan, fish-god Dagon.
Doesn’t that speak to you? Doesn’t that send a million warning signs to you about every single thing originating from the Catholic church. Next time you see the Catholic leader wearing this crown, remember that he is confirming and affirming the authority of the satanic fish god Dagon and all the evil ensuing from it. (The Anglicans too)
Interestingly, the Bible is all about love, forgiveness, peace, joy, victory, new eternal life, purpose, release from stress and a million other godly things, yet the Bible is the only book hated without cause – just like our Messiah of love.
The Bible offers the only life and lifestyle that works! You don’t believe me? Okay, I’ll answer you in a million years time – the answer will still be the same and valid then.
The Bible contains within its pages the greatest “I told you so” ever. Prophecy has and is still proving that. Changed lives continue to prove its supernatural origins, existence and being. You can’t prove it wrong like many think they can.
It changes you and you can’t change it.
The Bible is and contains the greatest drama of all time. It must become your best friend.
These are two of my pictures which I merged into one to create the effect. I’ve manipulated the Baobab tree with a few filters. I shot the flower picture at night with strong backlighting and front lighting as well.
Shalom and grow in grace!
