- Uranium found at new undeclared Iranian site. They are pushing the buttons alright! (The world, particularly the EU’s inability to bring Iran to book is giving them license to continue their march towards their repeated intended goal of attacking Israel.)
- Israel comes under heavy rocket attack from Gaza after the killing of Islamic Jihad terror leader. This morning (13th) rockets continue to fall on Israel. Palestinian Preseident says, "Israel must stop its aggression!"
- Islamic Jihad says, "We're going to war with Israel." (12th November)
- Bible prophecy is about to take another leap forward!
These will change on Sundays or as the Lord leads.
Exodus 19:5-6 “If you (Israel) will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation...”
Amos 9:15 “I will plant them (Israel) in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them, says the Lord God.”
Isaiah 41:11 “Behold all those who were incensed against you (Israel) shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish.”
Isaiah 44:18 “They do not know nor understand; for He has shut their eyes so they cannot see, and their hearts so they cannot understand.”
Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.
8th November 2019
Shabbat Shalom to all!
The tree-huggers delight:
The Bible uses plants, trees, colours, animals, birds, numbers and more to describe people and nations. It is the subliminal symbols that are of great significance and meaning, especially in relation to Israel.
Did you realise that the entire course of Israel’s history is plotted in the trees? There is much more to these symbols and metaphors - for another time.
Here are some amazing messages blowing in the wind, relating to Israel.
►The Olive tree: (Romans 11)
These trees have very deep, well established roots. They are sometimes called eternal trees, because they are so hardy; they live for many thousands of years. An ancient olive tree appears to die, but then miraculously, new shoots appear out of the dead wood continuing its existence.
The olive tree produces a rich olive oil which has numerous uses, but is also a type of the Holy Spirit. Olive oil is required to keep the temple menorah flames burning. This symbolises light. Olive tree leaves are symbols of peace. Remember the dove bringing back an olive branch to the ark after the flood of judgement.
The root of the olive tree is symbolic of God Himself. The root is called, “holy.”
Biblically, there are two olive trees of importance. The natural olive tree, is symbolic of Israel, and the wild olive tree, is symbolic of the church. The wild olive branch was “grafted” into the natural olive tree, thus partaking of the goodness of the root.
The national emblem of Israel includes two olive branches.
An ancient olive tree grove:
►The Fig tree:
The fig tree is symbolic of spiritual fruitfulness after severe pruning or judgement. It relates to Israel in the tribulation period, awakening to spiritual life.
The fig tree is unique in that its blossoms appear before the leaves. It should have fruit appearing before the leaves. This is why our Lord cursed the unfruitful fig tree, causing it to die. The root was not destroyed though, and a new tree full of fruit, is about to appear.
When the disciples asked out Lord what would be the sign of His coming, He listed a number of judgements to fall on the world. But one of these was the sign of the fig tree.
Matthew 24:32-34 “learn the parable of the fig tree: When is branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that the summer is near. So also you when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the very doors. Assuredly, I say to you, ‘this generation (of Jews) will be no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled.’”
Present day Zionism and the awakening of the Jews, as well as modern anti-Semitism are signs of the fig tree putting forth leaves and about to produce much spiritual fruit.
►The Almond tree:
The almond is the first tree to flower in its season, which at the end of winter. The flower has five petals to it, five being the number of grace. The temple menorah, a symbol of light, has oil cups or containers in the shape of almond flowers.
The Hebrew word for “almond” is “shakeid” which also means to “awake” and “watch”.
The almond is symbolic of Messiah’s resurrection. It speaks of the supernatural power of God as seen in Aaron’s almond branch that budded in one day. (Numbers 17:8)
Jeremiah 1:11-14 “The word of the Lord came to me saying, ‘Jeremiah, what do you see?’ I said, ‘I see the branch of an almond tree.’ Then the Lord said, ‘you have seen well for I am about to perform My word.’ And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying, ‘what do you see? And I said, a boiling pot and it is facing away from the north.’ Then the Lord said to me: ‘Out of the north calamity shall break forth on all the inhabitants of the land.’”
The message here is that as the almond (Israel) flowers and buds she will be plunged into the tribulation period.
Jeremiah 31:28 “It shall come to pass that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy and to afflict them, so I will watch over them to build and plant says the Lord. In those days they shall say no more, ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes...’”
Psalm 80:8-9 “You have brought a vine out of Egypt, You have cast out the nations and planted it. You prepared room for it, and caused it to take deep root and it filled the land.”
This vine, Israel, is described as “the choicest vine.” But it is a vine that also has within it a “winepress.” (Isaiah 5:1-2) The “winepress” speaks of the crushing tribulation to come!
God planted Israel as a “noble vine” of the highest quality, yet it became an alien, degenerate vine. This speaks of Israel's rebellion to Messiah. (Jeremiah 2:21)
As with the olive and the fig tree, the vine will bear its good fruit in its time, which is just around the corner!
►Other trees symbolic of Israel:
Joel 1:12 (Context: Israel is invaded in the tribulation period) “The vine has dried up and the fig tree has withered; and the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree. All the trees of the field have withered. Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.
But we know that Israel's story does not end in the tribulation. Joy will return.
The Cedar: Symbol of power, royalty and majesty. The Oak: Symbol of strength and stability. The Palm: Symbol of military victory and victory in Messiah. The Pomegranate: Symbol of abundance and joyfulness. The Acacia: Symbol of beauty. The Myrtle: Symbol of God’s favour and blessing.
The grand summary:
Israel is: Deeply rooted in God with an eternal future. Israel contains the light-producing oil of the Spirit of God and soon will be Messiah’s light of the world! Israel will be at peace soon. The church is a “wild” family member of Israel through our joint root in God. Israel will become fully fruitful after pruning. Israel’s ripening fruit is a sign of Messiah’s coming. Israel will bud and come to life supernaturally in a day and then bring the light of salvation to the Gentile world. Israel will go through the winepress of tribulation, be attacked from the north and fall under calamity, because she was the choicest, noble vine and yet gave herself to paganism. (Baal) Finally Israel will fulfil God’s call and plan in power, majesty and strength, abundance, and blessing.
All of this is revealed in the nature of this forest of trees, and the corresponding Bible verses. How can you not be a tree-hugger!
Edition 214. July 2nd 2014
The principles of war:
The principles of war:
This is a very important and timely edition. We are on the verge of major prophesied wars breaking out in the Middle East and between Russia and surrounding nations. The US will be drawn in. Israel will be drawn in. World war is on the doorstep.
I’m bringing you this edition now to lay a foundation for the dramatic times we are about enter.
Imagine going to war where the outcome has been pre-determined and spelt out with 100% accuracy! Talk about having the odds stacked against you!
In this edition I want to have a look at the principles of war – all from a biblical perspective. Much of this will surprise you. You have most probably never read or heard a teaching like this before!
We will look at some incredible verses of Bible prophecy that will strengthen your faith or turn you against God.
Psalm 120:7 “I am for peace but when I speak they are for war.”
A nation under God:
God, in His wisdom has set up principles for a strong nation. They still do apply, but today few nations are “under God” and are set for destruction as a result.
Isaiah 60:12 “For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you (Israel) in that day shall perish; yes they shall utterly be laid waste.”
I’m not talking about a theocracy, but there are certain Biblical principles which need to be applied by any nation. The constitution of a nation must have a higher “court”, which is God’s word. In fact all law in all western nations comes from and was founded on the Ten Commandments.
Church, state and family are the foundational pillars on which a nation stands. Today all three institutions have been eroded, attacked and interfered with. If you remove any one of the three legs of a tripod it will fall.
A nation under God will be one in which freedom and liberty is present. But beware; freedom is not freedom if it allows freedom to be destroyed. Freedom and liberty must be preserved by and through the principles of God’s word relating to the nation and government.
This is the job of the church. Today in our post-modern world, the church has capitulated and handed its task over to the devil himself.
Here are a few powerful verses of scripture.
Psalm 33:12 (Amp) “Blessed, fortunate and to be envied is the nation whose God is the Lord...”
Proverbs 28:28 (Amp) “When the wicked arise, men hide themselves; but when they perish, the consistently righteous increase and become many.”
Proverbs 28:2 (Amp) “When a land transgresses it has many rulers; but when the ruler is a man of discernment, understanding and knowledge, its stability will long continue.”
Proverbs 24:21 (Amp) “My son, reverently fear the Lord and king, and do not associate with those who are given to change of allegiance and are revolutionary.”
Job 12:23-24 (Amp) “He makes nations great, and He destroys them, He enlarges nations and shrinks them. He takes away understanding from leaders and causes them to wander in the wilderness where there is no way.”
In the past, the US was a nation under God. Since God and His word were removed from government, legislature, and society, it has fast become a nation under the god of this world - Satan! The mesmerising power of the Godless media fans the flames of hatred towards those who love the Lord and His word. What you see on Godless TV is the way to be, says the world’s god.
It is only the true believers in the US that are preserving it from falling, but even this has a time-stamp on it!
Israel is not a nation under the true God – Yeshua -yet, but it is very different from other nations in that it is a nation in waiting for her Messiah. She is about to have her eyes opened.
God has an irrevocable calling on Israel. It is throughout the scriptures.
This is a problem of epidemic proportions within the church world, largely because of false teaching.
Most ministries have done you a terrible disservice in the name of our Lord. They have led you astray. They have and continually are preaching a half-baked gospel. They preach about the Lamb of God, but very seldom do you hear preaching about the Lion of God! Both are needed for a well balanced, full gospel. I guarantee you that if you only have one, you are unbalanced and deceived.
On top of this omission is the sin of pure error. Pacifists use the following verses incorrectly.
The statue above stands in front of the UN building. It has these words from the verse below on the side of the sculpture.
Isaiah 2:4 “...They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.” The heading of this chapter is “The Future House of God.”
This verse will not come to pass until the Millennium! In the mean time this is the verse that applies to the world now – which you will not find anywhere near the UN!
Joel 3:9 “Proclaim this among the nations: prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, I am strong.”
Here is another verse commonly used by Christian pacifists:
Genesis 4:15: “Whoever kills Cain (after he had killed his brother Able) vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold, and the Lord set a mark on Cain, lest anyone finding him should kill him.”
They say that this verse above comes against capital punishment and war. But the law against murder only came about 490 years later. God could not make a law retro-active long before it came into existence. The “mark” on Cain would be a type of the prison system.
Many years later the law came along and this is what it says:
Genesis 9:6 “Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man his blood shall be shed.”
Pacifists also use the following verse to justify their position.
Exodus 20:13 “Thou shalt not kill.”
That is a terrible miss-translation of the King James Version. The original word is ‘homicide’. What it says is, “You shall not commit murder.” (Premeditated homicide)
Romans 11:22 “Consider both the goodness and severity of God.”
“The war was of God.”
War is such a messy, costly and dirty business, how could it be of God? Well, we firstly need to look at God’s word and secondly look at the nature of threats.
Have a look at these profound verses of scripture:
1 Chronicles 5:22 “Many fell dead because the war was of God.”
Psalm 68:30 (Amp)”...Scatter the people who delight in war.”
Psalm 55:21 (Amp) “The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart; his words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords.”
Psalm 140:1 (Amp) “Deliver me, O Lord, from the evil man; preserve me from the violent man. They continually gather together to stir up wars.”
These important verses above demonstrate clearly the nature of many people in this world. The response in God’s word is the following:
Psalm 144:1 (Amp) “Blessed be the Lord my rock and my keen and firm strength, who teaches my hands to make war and my fingers to fight.”
2 Samuel 22:35 “He trains my hands for war, so that my hands can bend a bow of bronze.”
You may protest and say that this is Old Covenant. Okay, well here’s the New:
Romans 13:3-4 “Rulers (of Godly government) are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authorities? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good, but if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain (war / capital punishment), for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practises evil.”
So, the principle of war is the same in both covenants.
The verses above are earth shattering – literally! They speak volumes and need little commentary. Note that there are people with war in their hearts, delighting to stir up wars and the instructions from God are to counter attack!
You may not like it, but the machinery and conduct of war is of God and perfectly justified in defensive and sometimes offensive situations.
Please understand that it is God who raises up nations and brings them down, and He does so on the basis of whether or not that nation is under God or has rejected God in favour of its spiritually bankrupt, demon possessed leaders.
Isaiah 60:12 “The nation and kingdom which will not serve you shall perish, and those nations shall be utterly ruined.”
Daniel 2:20-21 “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings...”
Hosea 4:1-3 “There is no truth or mercy or knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, lying, killing and stealing and committing adultery, they break all restraint with bloodshed after bloodshed. Therefore the land will mourn and everyone who dwells there will waste away with the beasts of the fields and the birds of the air, even the fish of the sea will be taken away.”
The Bible term, ‘Lord’ or ‘God of hosts’ is a military term with “hosts” meaning ‘armies.’ Believe it or not, there is a war on the go in the invisible spiritual realm between all the forces of God and the devil. It is in fact this, which manifests in the natural realm.
In this particular day we must be aware that Satan is the chief instigator of war. He is moving behind the scenes to bring about his world of chaos.
In this day, God has a plan for the Jews, Israel and Jerusalem. Because of this, so does Satan.
The nature of the Palestinians:
Now that we understand that there are people with war in their hearts, continually gathering to make war, let’s look into the heart of the Palestinian people (and most Arab nations).
Explanation: There is no Palestinian nation or people. They originated from numerous Middle Eastern lands, excluding Israel. The word “Palestinian” is a transliteration of “Philistinos”, the Greek word for Philistines, who originated from numerous lands. They are true Arabs. From a Biblical point of view, the Palestinians can be identified with the Arabs / Philistines. In more modern times, the Palestinians emerged from Jordan (Edom, Moab, Ammon).
Political leaders and military generals would do well to study the following verses!
Ezekiel 36:2-5 “Thus says the Lord God: ‘Because the enemy has said of you, (Israel) Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession, therefore prophecy and say, ‘thus says the Lord God, because they made you desolate and swallowed you up on every side, so that you became the possession of the rest of the nations, and you are taken up by the lips of talkers and slandered by the people (UN)’...vs. 5 “Surely I have spoken in my burning jealousy against the rest of the nations and against all Edom (Palestinians today), who gave My land to themselves as a possession, with wholehearted joy and spiteful minds, in order to plunder its open country. (God’s fury and wrath follows).’”
Ezekiel 35:5-6 “Because you (Palestinians today) have an ancient hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the power of the sword at the time of their calamity, when their iniquity came to an end. Therefore as I live says the Lord God, ‘I will prepare you for blood and blood shall pursue you; since you have not hated blood, blood will pursue you.”
Micah 4:11-12 “Now many nations have gathered against you (Israel), who say, ‘let her be defiled and let our eye look upon Zion.’ But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord, nor do they understand His counsel; for He will gather them like sheaves to the threshing floor.”
Joshua 15:20, 47 “This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families...vs. 47 “Ashdod with its towns and villages, Gaza, with its towns and villages – as far as the brook of Egypt and the great sea with its coastline.”
Amos 1:6-8, 13 “Thus says the Lord: For three transgressions of Gaza and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they took captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom (Palestinians today). I will send fire on the wall of Gaza...and the remnant of the Philistines (Palestinians) shall perish, says the Lord God...vs. 13 “I will not turn away the punishment of the people of Ammon (Jordan / Palestinians), because they ripped open the women with child in Gilead, that they might enlarge their territory.”
Amos 1:6-7 “I will not turn away the punishment of Gaza, because they took captive the whole captivity to deliver them up to Edom (Palestinians). I will send fire on the wall of Gaza...”
Joel 3:2 “I will also gather all nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat (Lit=judgment), and I will enter into judgement with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land.”
Zephaniah 2:4, 8-9 “For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon desolate...O Cannaan, land of the Philistines (Palestinians), I will destroy you. Vs.8-9 “I have heard of the reproach of Moab (Palestinians) and the reviling of the people of Ammon, with which they have reproached My people, and made arrogant threats against their borders. Therefore as I live, says the Lord of hosts (armies), the God of Israel, surely Moab shall be like Sodom and the people of Ammon like Gomorrah ...”
Zechariah 9:5-6 “Gaza shall be very sorrowful...A mixed race shall settle in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines (Palestinians.)”
So, from the above verses we see that the Palestinians fit the bill perfectly of people with war in their hearts and their target is God’s choice – Israel. Please note also how many prophecies of doom there are against Gaza. Watch for big developments in Gaza very soon! In fact watch for the Psalm 83 war, the Isaiah 17 war and Ezekiel 38 & 39!
A discourse on the Aryans:
There was an Aryan race that existed 4000 years ago in the Nordic regions and migrated down to Persia (Iran) where they settled. The Aryan became the ideal of a perfect man with no Jewish blood or ancestry in him. Hitler was the one who took the whole idea further. He wanted a 1000-year reign of Nazi peace where the Aryans would populate the world, but the Jews stood in his way.
Now here is a surprise: The word Iran is the Persian word for “land of the Aryans.” In fact Iran is a transliteration from Aryan. It may also surprise you to know that the ancient Aryans or Persians, now Iranians, used the Swastika as a symbol long before the Germans. The Swastika is still highly revered in Iran and is many art works of antiquity.
The image below shows the oldest Aryan symbol, the Swastika / wheel of Mithra and the sun.
So now we have a connection between Iran / Aryans / Nazi Germany / Swastika and hatred for the Jews! It’s interesting that that the word “Holocaust” means, “Great sacrifice by fire”, and it is Iran who wants to build a nuclear bomb to bring another Holocaust upon Israel!
World War 11 ended with a great nuclear fire. Could it be that World War 111 begins with a great nuclear fire? What Iran has forgotten is that Israel has nukes! But don’t tell them!!!
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard published a book distributed in the hundreds of thousands entitled “The last Six Months.” (WND)
The book describes what Islamic soldiers need to do in the last six months before the appearance of their Islamic Messiah, the Mahdi. The book encourages attacks on Syria and Iraq. Iran will be the centre, according to the book.
The Shiites believe that the Mahdi will only appear when Israel is destroyed and the US is brought to its knees. They believe that the Mahdi will be the “perfect person and will unite all religions.”
Hitler wanted a 1000 years of peace without any Jews.
This is the desire of Iran and the Muslim Mahdi as well.
Israel must respond militarily, even if she stands alone. But God will be with her and against all her enemies!
Why is Jerusalem the choice and desire of the devil, the Catholics, the Palestinians and others? It’s because God has chosen Jerusalem.
Psalm 132:13 “For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation.”
Zechariah 3:2 “And the Lord said to Satan, the Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem.”
But Israel messed up with God and fell out of favour, until this time now.
Matthew 23:37-38 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her, how often I have wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks, but you were not willing! See your house is left to you desolate.”
Not only did Israel mess up, but the nations of the world have messed up relating to Jerusalem. It will have dramatic consequences:
Zechariah 12:2-3 “I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all people and all who would heave it away (divide it) will surely be cut in pieces, though all the nations of the earth are gathered against it.”
The world will not repent, but Israel will and God’s ultimate purpose for Jerusalem will finally come about.
The end game:
Know and understand that we are at the beginning of the Biblical end-time drama and many nations are going to be brought down. God has sealed their fate. We are on the verge of all of this exploding onto the world stage.
Church leaders, you can continue with your replacement theology or repent and line up with God’s word. Political leaders, you may say that you don’t believe in God or the devil. You are about to find out otherwise to your eternal detriment.
Prime ministers, Presidents, Kings, Queens, savage dictators, and other political leaders, you are tragic fools of immense proportions to come against or even ignore God’s word on Israel. You are children of hell already.
Ezekiel 20:41 “I will accept you (Jews) as a sweet aroma when I bring you out of the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered; and I will be hallowed in you before the Gentiles.”
Isaiah 60:14 “The sons of those who afflicted you (Nazi Germany included) shall come bowing to you, and those who despised you shall fall prostrate at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you the City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.”
Amos 9:15 “I will plant them (Jews) in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them, says the Lord God.”
An address to Israel’s political and military leaders:
Be strong and courageous. Your God is with you. Do not be deterred by the foolish wisdom of the world. Beware of lurking enemies in the Christian church. Your God’s eternal covenant with you still stands. (Judges2:1) Open your hearts to your Messiah and He will reveal Himself to you.
Deuteronomy 7:6 “For you are a holy people to the Lord your God. He has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the people on the face of the earth.”
Micah 7:8-9 “Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me. I will bear the indignation of the Lord, because I have sinned against Him, until He pleads my case and executes justice for me; He will bring me forth to the light, and I will see His righteousness.”
What you must do:
Be warned, because certain wars are “of God,” you can’t win if you’re on the wrong side. It is impossible to win a war backed by the Lord’s hosts. It is far wiser to surrender now, throw in the towel, capitulate and give up, than to fight God.
Lining up with God’s word will bring you His favour.
Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord God will wipe away tears from every face; the rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth.”
Colossians 2:15 “He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, triumphing over them.”
Deuteronomy 20:4 “For the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to give you victory.”
I took this picture in a strange mountainous desert called Richterveld in the west of South Africa. It is beautiful beyond words, silent, barren, inhabited only by wildlife, permanently drought stricken, full of weird plants. It is unforgiving for those not prepared. It reminds me of the desolation after nuclear war! If you want to see some more images of this amazing place, click Here.
Isaiah 35:1 “The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose.”
Shalom and grow in grace!
