- Uranium found at new undeclared Iranian site. They are pushing the buttons alright! (The world, particularly the EU’s inability to bring Iran to book is giving them license to continue their march towards their repeated intended goal of attacking Israel.)
- Israel comes under heavy rocket attack from Gaza after the killing of Islamic Jihad terror leader.
- Bible prophecy is about to take another leap forward!
These will change on Sundays or as the Lord leads.
Exodus 19:5-6 “If you (Israel) will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation...”
Amos 9:15 “I will plant them (Israel) in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them, says the Lord God.”
Isaiah 41:11 “Behold all those who were incensed against you (Israel) shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish.”
Isaiah 44:18 “They do not know nor understand; for He has shut their eyes so they cannot see, and their hearts so they cannot understand.”
Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

Shabbat Shalom to all!
The tree-huggers delight:
The Bible uses plants, trees, colours, animals, birds, numbers and more to describe people and nations. It is the subliminal symbols that are of great significance and meaning, especially in relation to Israel.
Did you realise that the entire course of Israel’s history is plotted in the trees? There is much more to these symbols and metaphors - for another time.
Here are some amazing messages blowing in the wind, relating to Israel.
►The Olive tree: (Romans 11)
These trees have very deep, well established roots. They are sometimes called eternal trees, because they are so hardy; they live for many thousands of years. An ancient olive tree appears to die, but then miraculously, new shoots appear out of the dead wood continuing its existence.
The olive tree produces a rich olive oil which has numerous uses, but is also a type of the Holy Spirit. Olive oil is required to keep the temple menorah flames burning. This symbolises light. Olive tree leaves are symbols of peace. Remember the dove bringing back an olive branch to the ark after the flood of judgement.
The root of the olive tree is symbolic of God Himself. The root is called, “holy.”
Biblically, there are two olive trees of importance. The natural olive tree, is symbolic of Israel, and the wild olive tree, is symbolic of the church. The wild olive branch was “grafted” into the natural olive tree, thus partaking of the goodness of the root.
The national emblem of Israel includes two olive branches.
An ancient olive tree grove:
►The Fig tree:
The fig tree is symbolic of spiritual fruitfulness after severe pruning or judgement. It relates to Israel in the tribulation period, awakening to spiritual life.
The fig tree is unique in that its blossoms appear before the leaves. It should have fruit appearing before the leaves. This is why our Lord cursed the unfruitful fig tree, causing it to die. The root was not destroyed though, and a new tree full of fruit, is about to appear.
When the disciples asked out Lord what would be the sign of His coming, He listed a number of judgements to fall on the world. But one of these was the sign of the fig tree.
Matthew 24:32-34 “learn the parable of the fig tree: When is branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that the summer is near. So also you when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the very doors. Assuredly, I say to you, ‘this generation (of Jews) will be no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled.’”
Present day Zionism and the awakening of the Jews, as well as modern anti-Semitism are signs of the fig tree putting forth leaves and about to produce much spiritual fruit.
►The Almond tree:
The almond is the first tree to flower in its season, which at the end of winter. The flower has five petals to it, five being the number of grace. The temple menorah, a symbol of light, has oil cups or containers in the shape of almond flowers.
The Hebrew word for “almond” is “shakeid” which also means to “awake” and “watch”.
The almond is symbolic of Messiah’s resurrection. It speaks of the supernatural power of God as seen in Aaron’s almond branch that budded in one day. (Numbers 17:8)
Jeremiah 1:11-14 “The word of the Lord came to me saying, ‘Jeremiah, what do you see?’ I said, ‘I see the branch of an almond tree.’ Then the Lord said, ‘you have seen well for I am about to perform My word.’ And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying, ‘what do you see? And I said, a boiling pot and it is facing away from the north.’ Then the Lord said to me: ‘Out of the north calamity shall break forth on all the inhabitants of the land.’”
The message here is that as the almond (Israel) flowers and buds she will be plunged into the tribulation period.
Jeremiah 31:28 “It shall come to pass that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy and to afflict them, so I will watch over them to build and plant says the Lord. In those days they shall say no more, ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes...’”
Psalm 80:8-9 “You have brought a vine out of Egypt, You have cast out the nations and planted it. You prepared room for it, and caused it to take deep root and it filled the land.”
This vine, Israel, is described as “the choicest vine.” But it is a vine that also has within it a “winepress.” (Isaiah 5:1-2) The “winepress” speaks of the crushing tribulation to come!
God planted Israel as a “noble vine” of the highest quality, yet it became an alien, degenerate vine. This speaks of Israel's rebellion to Messiah. (Jeremiah 2:21)
As with the olive and the fig tree, the vine will bear its good fruit in its time, which is just around the corner!
►Other trees symbolic of Israel:
Joel 1:12 (Context: Israel is invaded in the tribulation period) “The vine has dried up and the fig tree has withered; and the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree. All the trees of the field have withered. Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.
But we know that Israel's story does not end in the tribulation. Joy will return.
The Cedar: Symbol of power, royalty and majesty. The Oak: Symbol of strength and stability. The Palm: Symbol of military victory and victory in Messiah. The Pomegranate: Symbol of abundance and joyfulness. The Acacia: Symbol of beauty. The Myrtle: Symbol of God’s favour and blessing.
The grand summary:
Israel is: Deeply rooted in God with an eternal future. Israel contains the light-producing oil of the Spirit of God and soon will be Messiah’s light of the world! Israel will be at peace soon. The church is a “wild” family member of Israel through our joint root in God. Israel will become fully fruitful after pruning. Israel’s ripening fruit is a sign of Messiah’s coming. Israel will bud and come to life supernaturally in a day and then bring the light of salvation to the Gentile world. Israel will go through the winepress of tribulation, be attacked from the north and fall under calamity, because she was the choicest, noble vine and yet gave herself to paganism. (Baal) Finally Israel will fulfil God’s call and plan in power, majesty and strength, abundance, and blessing.
All of this is revealed in the nature of this forest of trees, and the corresponding Bible verses. How can you not be a tree-hugger!

The peace talks bring the wrath of God.
Please note that this news section deals only with news events, which have a Biblical or prophetic aspect to them.
General news items:
The peace talks bring the wrath of God.
Before we continue I’d like to share with you a personal thing that’s just occurred relating to Rosh Hashanah:
The Rosh Hashanah sign:
A few days before Rosh Hashanah and the change to the Hebrew year 5774, I prayed and asked my Lord for a sign relating to this New Year 5774. Rosh Hashanah came and on the day some idiot trade unionists couldn’t get what they wanted in labour talks, so they sabotaged and switched off the power to our greater area. The power was off for two days. That night I couldn’t sleep and found myself sitting on my bed staring through the canopies of real dark trees outside, to twinkling stars.
Let me add that I have a number of solar powered strings of hundreds of fairy lights laid along a little waterfall and in the plants outside of my office/studio which extends off my bedroom. It’s a glass conservatory, so I can see all the lights from my bed. For some odd reason the lights switched off early just before midnight. (They normally stay on through the night.)
One of my dogs (Red Setters, so they are quite tall) came and sat with me, leaning her head on my shoulder. So there we sat. I expected some sort of sign to just appear in the sky.
Suddenly I realised that the sign was all around me. This is the sign:
5774 is going to be a year of intense, deep spiritual darkness. Satanic powers of the world system will put the spiritual lights out of shallow, worldly believers. Satanic darkness will fill many churches and believers.
But those who receive their sustenance from the Son (not the sun) will shine in the darkness and draw many to our great saviour. Could it be that just before this year 5774 ends, the true Church will suddenly and unexpectedly be gone with their “light”?
This is an extremely important edition full of gravity, severity and warning. There are many verses in this edition. They are very important, please read them all.
Revelation 6:4 “Another horse fiery red went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth and that people should kill one another and there was given to him a great sword.”
Most people would rather have peace than war. I think that is the motivation behind all the peace efforts in the Middle East. But it is a lot wiser to build a world of peace God’s way, not so?
Besides, God has stressed in His word in numerous places that man’s peace efforts will end in war if God’s methods are rejected! We are now at the sunset of this era but unlike a nice peaceful sunset it will be littered with the machinery and corpses of war.
Daniel 11:27 “Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the midst of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering and on the wings of abominations shall be one who makes desolate...”
Daniel 11:21 “In his place shall arise a vile person, to whom they will not give the honour of royalty, but he shall come in peaceably and size the kingdom by intrigue.”
In the two verses above (there are others) we get the simplified “peace covenant” or treaty details.
Definitions of these Biblical words: Firstly “covenant” is “a compact agreement between God and man, or man and man or tribes and nations.”
There is much controversy over the word “confirm” used in the verse above. Does it mean, “signing” as in a peace treaty or not? Well, let’s go to the root. The original Hebrew word used is ‘gabar’ and here are the meanings: “To confirm a covenant; to act proudly towards God; to make strong and give strength.” Yes we can call it “signing.”
The word “week” is the original word for a “seven” and in context is a seven of years. It is the seven-year tribulation. The “he” being spoken of is the person who is revealed as the antichrist. The “sacrifice and offering” relates to restored Temple practise.
From this and other verses we get the story of the person who becomes the antichrist, signing a peace covenant with a number of people or nations regarding the dividing of Israel, Jerusalem and the rebuilding of the Third Temple. This is the Biblical description of the current “land for peace” talks.
The verse in Daniel 11:27 is one of the most important in our day. It is soon to occur and will have momenous, catastrophic implications and consequences for those involved and the whole world.
The wrath of God reaches its fulcrum in the second half of the tribulation period, but this verse kicks it all off and begins the fury, anger and wrath of God in the most demonstrative ways the world has ever seen.
Why then is the peace covenant so important?
The history of Biblical peace with Israel:
We must bear in mind that there are a number of covenants in the Bible relating to Israel. They are the Land Covenant, the Davidic Covenant and the New Covenant. The Land Covenant is unconditional from God’s point of view, and will end exactly as God has stated, right at the end of the tribulation period.
Before we look at the current peace talks let’s go back into Bible history and see what patterns and precedents there are. We are about to see some incredible examples!
Firstly, we know that the current peace talks are centred on the “final status” for the Palestinian people. This includes dividing the land of Israel and the city of Jerusalem. The status of the Temple Mount will be a part of the process.
Why is this such an affront to God? It is most certainly not because He doesn’t like the Palestinians.
It is because God made powerful, everlasting covenants with the Jewish people long, long ago. Their land is called “the promised land.”
Genesis 15:18 “The Lord made a covenant with Abram saying: To your descendants I have given this land from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates.”
Genesis 17:7 “I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.”
This covenant included the land of Israel as a possession for the Jewish people.
Okay, now with these two verses above in mind (and there are dozens more) consider the verse below:
►Exodus 23:32-33 “You shall make no covenant with them, nor their gods. They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against Me, for if you serve their gods it will surely be a snare to you.”
The peace talks on the go now will end with Islam gaining control of all Israel! God forbids it right here in the verse above!
We could actually stop right here, because God has made His case crystal clear! What we have in these few lines so far in this edition shatters the world’s current peace plans! What we have is God’s covenant of peace with Israel and His warning not to break it and make any other!
God’s eternal covenant was with Jacob and his offspring, Israel. It included the land and the city of Jerusalem. Note in the verses above that God commanded Israel to prevent their land from being dwelt in by Arab nations (mentioned earlier in the verse) because of their evil religion. This obviously relates to Islam in our day.
More on the land covenant:
Genesis 17:7-8 “I will establish My covenant between Me and you (Abraham) and your descendants for an everlasting covenant, also I will give to your descendants the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan as an everlasting possession and I will be their God.”
Genesis 17:18-21 “Abraham said to God, Oh that Ishmael (father of Arabs) might live before You! Then God said no, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son and you shall call his name Isaac (father of Jews); I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant and with his descendants after him. As for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold I have blessed him, and make him fruitful and will multiply him exceedingly...but My covenant I will establish with Isaac.”
Amos 9:14-15 “I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; they shall also make gardens and eat from them. I will plant them in their land and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them, says the Lord God.”
Zechariah 2:12-13 “The Lord will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land and will again choose Jerusalem. Be silent all flesh, before the Lord, for He is aroused from his holy habitation.”
Zechariah 3:2 “And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”
So you want to divide the land and the city!
Daniel 11:39 “Thus he (antichrist) shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god (Satan), which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory and he shall cause them to rule over many and divide the land for gain.”
Zechariah 12:2-3 “Behold I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem and it will happen in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples. All who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.”
Amos 1:13 “To the people of Ammon (Palestinians today), I will not turn away its punishment, because they ripped open the women with child in Gilead, that they might enlarge their territory.”
Ezekiel 36:2, 5 “Because the enemy has said of you, “Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession.” Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I have spoken in My burning jealousy against the rest of the nations and against all Edom (Palestinians today), who gave My land to themselves as a possession, with whole-hearted joy and spiteful minds, in order to plunder its open country.”
Zechariah 13:8-9 “It shall come to pass in all the land (Israel) says the Lord, that two thirds in it shall be cut off and die, but one third shall be left in it. I will bring one third through the fire, will refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name and I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’, and each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”
These verses above speak prophetically of the doom and destruction coming to the world and Israel because of the dividing of the land and the city.
Can you see the gravity of the situation already in these words above?
God’s covenant with Israel is called the “Peace Covenant.”
Isaiah 54:10 “For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord who has mercy on you (Israel).”
I’ve said in numerous editions before, that it’s not really a Palestinian issue but an Islam issue. Islam does not want little pieces of Israel. They want it all. Way back in the days of Moses God warned against this! He has warned throughout the scriptures!
Please note that God calls His land covenant with Israel a “covenant of peace.”
The world has called its proposed covenant with Israel “The roadmap to peace.” But it annuls and contradicts God’s covenant of peace - therefore it will bring war and destruction on an unprecedented scale and not peace!
The world’s covenant of death and hell:
Isaiah 28:15 "Because you have said, we have made a covenant with death and with Sheol we are in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through it will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.”
Isaiah 28:18 “Your covenant with death shall be annulled and your agreement with Sheol will not stand; when the overflowing scourge passes through, then you will be trampled down by it.”
These two verses above are amazing indeed! This covenant of death can be none other than the present peace talks simply because the verses show that the tribulation period is the result! These people think they are okay because they have been working for peace! Have they got a surprise coming?
Jeremiah 19:7 “And I will make void the counsel (covenant) of Judah and Jerusalem in this place, and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies and by the hands of those who seek their lives. Their corpses I will give as meat for the birds and the beasts.”
The verse above shows that the Jews of Israel will not get off lightly!
Isaiah 28:1 “Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower.”
Ephraim was one of the tribes of Israel. The name means “double fruitfulness”. This was one of the 'lost' tribes, who together with Manasseh formed the tribe of Joseph. But who is Ephraim prophetically? Many interpreters believe Ephraim is modern day USA and Manasseh is Britain. There are a number of other views, but if Ephraim is the USA...hoo boy, look what’s coming! In fact this verse above shows that the beauty of the USA will fade like a dying flower. I think that is even beginning right now.
One thing we can be sure of and that is that when this fateful peace covenant is signed, it will annul the previous God-created covenant! You can’t have two opposing covenants in force at the same time. But God will not sit by and watch!
The results of the peace talks:
Isaiah 59:8 “The way of peace they have not known, and there is no justice in their ways; they have made themselves crooked paths; whoever takes that path will not know peace.”
Ezekiel 35:5-6 “Because you have an ancient hatred and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the power of the sword at the time of their calamity, when their iniquity came to an end, “therefore as I live” says the Lord God, I will prepare you for blood , and blood shall pursue you.”
Psalm 125:3 “The sceptre of wickedness will not rest on the land allotted to the righteous.”
These verses show that the peace talks are doomed. Yes they will succeed initially. The world’s covenant with death and hell will be broken and annulled at the half way mark through the tribulation, just as it intensifies.
God’s covenant of peace will finally be restored right at the end of the tribulation period on the wings of the death and destruction of billions of people.
Timing and the Peace Talks:
The timing of these nine month talks is of major importance. There must be a covenant ready to be signed / confirmed at the start of the seven-year tribulation period. If you recall in 2011 many including myself thought we may be at the doorstep of the tribulation. A UN resolution number 66 had just come about on the land for peace issue. But it did not end in anything resembling what we have now. In fact that resolution paved the way for this comprehensive plan on the go now.
Right now we have talks on the go involving land for peace, the dividing of Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount. It will include many other issues including the international war about to break out over Syria. It will include issues relating to Iran, Egypt and others. It is the most comprehensive ever.
It looks, smells and feels just like that Biblical covenant.
The timing couldn’t be more important! So many other prophetic factors are all on the stage right now! For these reasons I believe that the “peace” talks will endure through and be successful, producing the arrival of the tribulation. God’s word says that it will come about and yes, it will fail later in the tribulation.
The world challenges God
Joel 3:2 “I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat and I will enter into judgement with them there, on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations. They have also divided up My land.”
The world’s political leaders are on a collision course with God. They think they are working for peace. Time is running out, my friends. These peace talks will soon be consolidated into a neat package and brought before various leaders for signing and approval.
As they do so, with Israel as a willing participant, they will effectively be throwing out, cancelling and annulling God’s covenant of peace in favour of the covenant of death and hell.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 “For when they say peace and safety, sudden destruction comes.”
They may call it the “roadmap to peace” or anything else they like, but God calls it “a covenant with death and hell” and it will result in His fury, NOT peace.
The children of Israel became tired of waiting for Moses to come down from the mountain, so they made a Golden Calf to lead them. (Exodus 32:1). We know how that ended! Today we have people tired of waiting for peace and they will soon bow down to the new Golden Calf to lead them. Isaiah 46:7 “...though one cry out to it (idol) it cannot answer nor save him out of his trouble.”
The church challenges God:
Many churches of all types and persuasions are confronting and challenging God unbeknown to themselves. The evil satanically inspired doctrine of Replacement Theology has set them on a collision course with God. In the name of God they are working for Satan in disguise.
These churches, unknowingly, are working with and for Islam, the religion of domination, hatred and intolerance.
Replacement theology essentially is the doctrine of devils that presumes God has finished with the Jews, the land and the city. The Jews have no prophetic identity or future except to join their pagan-based churches of Babylon. This doctrine presumes that the church has replaced Israel and all the blessing are now for the church and all the curses for Israel.
This is the doctrine of the great majority of churches today. It is in all denominational churches, Catholics, Anglicans, Methodists and even in some Pentecostal churches.
Replacement theology leads to replacement reality! These churches support Satan’s covenant with death and hell and come against and reject God’s covenant of peace with Israel today. If you reject God’s plan for Israel, the Jews and Jerusalem you can make any “peace” deal you like with who you like.
There are many churches that are silent on the issue. They are like the Catholic church during the Nazi Holocaust, sitting silently by. These churches are just as guilty and complicit in their silence.
How it will play out:
Zechariah 14:12 “This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all people who fought against Jerusalem. Their flesh will dissolve while they stand on their feet, their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets and their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.”
Zechariah 13:8-9 “It shall come to pass in all the land says the Lord, that two thirds in it shall be cut off and die, but one third shall be left in it. I will bring one third through the fire, will refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name and I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’, and each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”
These verses above are just two frightening tribulation-period verses. They show huge destruction and death. They imply nuclear conflict.
At the end of it all the remnant of Israel comes into God’s purposes for them.
Most people are not aware of the strong, powerful connection between the breaking of God’s covenant of peace with Israel and the “peace” talks on the go now. Most are not aware of the gravity of it all. Most are not aware of the timing of all these things and most are not aware of the connection between the peace talks and the tribulation period.
●God calls His land covenant with Israel “A covenant of peace.”
●The world calls its “peace” talks, “The roadmap to peace.”
●God calls the world’s up-coming covenant with Israel, “A covenant of death and hell.”
●God says, “You shall make no covenant with them.”
●God says, “You shall not divide the land of Israel or the city of Jerusalem.”
●God says He will bring war and destruction on the world over this.
●The world says: “Shut up God, we will work for peace our way, who do You think You are telling us what to do?”
What you can do:
You must have no agreement with this agreement of death and hell! You must stand separate and apart from it all in your talk, your actions and your prayer. As these things draw near, you can be sure that our great King and glorious Messiah is drawing near to those who love Him intensely.
You need to prepare your heart. You must walk in holiness! You must repent and clean your heart and mind of the trappings of the devil and his world. The greatest safety is not in knowing when all these will happen and exactly how they will all play out, but in holiness! As I’ve said many times, that’s my favourite subject and passion.
These things you should do anyway.
Look up for your redemption draws nigh!
I really have compassion for the US, UK, Israel and others; I do see what an incredible dilemma this all is for them. I see and understand that it is not easy for them to make peace. In many respects they are damned if they do and damned if they don’t.
But over time, they have dug their own graves, by going the way of man’s best efforts, devoid of God!
There is wonderful safety in holiness, and a walk of repentance. There is glorious victory in knowing our Lord more and more deeply and knowing His word well. There is great wonder in being a total radical freak, oddball and weirdo from the world’s point of view, but a loved child of the living God.
What a privilege we have to be alive at this time! O, by the way, you reading this now...if you are really saved, you will never die! You are part of the community that will step alive from hell on earth to heaven in an atomic second.
I haven’t yet got a clear answer from our Lord if my dogs can come with me too!
Jeremiah 11:11 “I will surely bring calamity on them which they will not be able to escape; and though they cry out to Me, I will not listen to them."
Psalm 119:89 “Forever, O Lord Your word is settled in heaven.”
I took this picture while on foot in the Mbabe Depression, Botswana. This lion symbolises the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, currently hidden except to the wise. He is about to pounce!
Proverbs 19:12 “The kings wrath is like the roaring of a lion, but his favour is like dew on the grass.”
Shalom and grow in grace!
