|This ministry has a distinct kingdom, Messianic vision, identifying with God’s call and plan for the Jewish people and the church. My position is pre-trib! Personally: I was saved in 1976 while working as a war correspondent, journalist, photographer, artist and environmentalist. My calling is to share these great end-time dramas, to stand as a watchman and above all, to glorify my God.|

- Uranium found at new undeclared Iranian site. They are pushing the buttons alright! (The world, particularly the EU’s inability to bring Iran to book is giving them license to continue their march towards their repeated intended goal of attacking Israel.)
- Israel comes under heavy rocket attack from Gaza after the killing of Islamic Jihad terror leader. This morning (13th) rockets continue to fall on Israel. Palestinian Preseident says, "Israel must stop its aggression!"
- Islamic Jihad says, "We're going to war with Israel." (12th November)
- Bible prophecy is about to take another leap forward!
These will change on Sundays or as the Lord leads.
Exodus 19:5-6 “If you (Israel) will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation...”
Amos 9:15 “I will plant them (Israel) in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them, says the Lord God.”
Isaiah 41:11 “Behold all those who were incensed against you (Israel) shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish.”
Isaiah 44:18 “They do not know nor understand; for He has shut their eyes so they cannot see, and their hearts so they cannot understand.”
Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

Shabbat Shalom to all!
The tree-huggers delight:
The Bible uses plants, trees, colours, animals, birds, numbers and more to describe people and nations. It is the subliminal symbols that are of great significance and meaning, especially in relation to Israel.
Did you realise that the entire course of Israel’s history is plotted in the trees? There is much more to these symbols and metaphors - for another time.
Here are some amazing messages blowing in the wind, relating to Israel.
►The Olive tree: (Romans 11)
These trees have very deep, well established roots. They are sometimes called eternal trees, because they are so hardy; they live for many thousands of years. An ancient olive tree appears to die, but then miraculously, new shoots appear out of the dead wood continuing its existence.
The olive tree produces a rich olive oil which has numerous uses, but is also a type of the Holy Spirit. Olive oil is required to keep the temple menorah flames burning. This symbolises light. Olive tree leaves are symbols of peace. Remember the dove bringing back an olive branch to the ark after the flood of judgement.
The root of the olive tree is symbolic of God Himself. The root is called, “holy.”
Biblically, there are two olive trees of importance. The natural olive tree, is symbolic of Israel, and the wild olive tree, is symbolic of the church. The wild olive branch was “grafted” into the natural olive tree, thus partaking of the goodness of the root.
The national emblem of Israel includes two olive branches.
An ancient olive tree grove:
►The Fig tree:
The fig tree is symbolic of spiritual fruitfulness after severe pruning or judgement. It relates to Israel in the tribulation period, awakening to spiritual life.
The fig tree is unique in that its blossoms appear before the leaves. It should have fruit appearing before the leaves. This is why our Lord cursed the unfruitful fig tree, causing it to die. The root was not destroyed though, and a new tree full of fruit, is about to appear.
When the disciples asked out Lord what would be the sign of His coming, He listed a number of judgements to fall on the world. But one of these was the sign of the fig tree.
Matthew 24:32-34 “learn the parable of the fig tree: When is branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that the summer is near. So also you when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the very doors. Assuredly, I say to you, ‘this generation (of Jews) will be no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled.’”
Present day Zionism and the awakening of the Jews, as well as modern anti-Semitism are signs of the fig tree putting forth leaves and about to produce much spiritual fruit.
►The Almond tree:
The almond is the first tree to flower in its season, which at the end of winter. The flower has five petals to it, five being the number of grace. The temple menorah, a symbol of light, has oil cups or containers in the shape of almond flowers.
The Hebrew word for “almond” is “shakeid” which also means to “awake” and “watch”.
The almond is symbolic of Messiah’s resurrection. It speaks of the supernatural power of God as seen in Aaron’s almond branch that budded in one day. (Numbers 17:8)
Jeremiah 1:11-14 “The word of the Lord came to me saying, ‘Jeremiah, what do you see?’ I said, ‘I see the branch of an almond tree.’ Then the Lord said, ‘you have seen well for I am about to perform My word.’ And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying, ‘what do you see? And I said, a boiling pot and it is facing away from the north.’ Then the Lord said to me: ‘Out of the north calamity shall break forth on all the inhabitants of the land.’”
The message here is that as the almond (Israel) flowers and buds she will be plunged into the tribulation period.
Jeremiah 31:28 “It shall come to pass that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy and to afflict them, so I will watch over them to build and plant says the Lord. In those days they shall say no more, ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes...’”
Psalm 80:8-9 “You have brought a vine out of Egypt, You have cast out the nations and planted it. You prepared room for it, and caused it to take deep root and it filled the land.”
This vine, Israel, is described as “the choicest vine.” But it is a vine that also has within it a “winepress.” (Isaiah 5:1-2) The “winepress” speaks of the crushing tribulation to come!
God planted Israel as a “noble vine” of the highest quality, yet it became an alien, degenerate vine. This speaks of Israel's rebellion to Messiah. (Jeremiah 2:21)
As with the olive and the fig tree, the vine will bear its good fruit in its time, which is just around the corner!
►Other trees symbolic of Israel:
Joel 1:12 (Context: Israel is invaded in the tribulation period) “The vine has dried up and the fig tree has withered; and the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree. All the trees of the field have withered. Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.
But we know that Israel's story does not end in the tribulation. Joy will return.
The Cedar: Symbol of power, royalty and majesty. The Oak: Symbol of strength and stability. The Palm: Symbol of military victory and victory in Messiah. The Pomegranate: Symbol of abundance and joyfulness. The Acacia: Symbol of beauty. The Myrtle: Symbol of God’s favour and blessing.
The grand summary:
Israel is: Deeply rooted in God with an eternal future. Israel contains the light-producing oil of the Spirit of God and soon will be Messiah’s light of the world! Israel will be at peace soon. The church is a “wild” family member of Israel through our joint root in God. Israel will become fully fruitful after pruning. Israel’s ripening fruit is a sign of Messiah’s coming. Israel will bud and come to life supernaturally in a day and then bring the light of salvation to the Gentile world. Israel will go through the winepress of tribulation, be attacked from the north and fall under calamity, because she was the choicest, noble vine and yet gave herself to paganism. (Baal) Finally Israel will fulfil God’s call and plan in power, majesty and strength, abundance, and blessing.
All of this is revealed in the nature of this forest of trees, and the corresponding Bible verses. How can you not be a tree-hugger!

Walking in peace in perilous times
News events and comment.
●New archaeological discovery in Jerusalem finds the "Resurrection tomb" with numerous artefacts of evidence confirming the resurrection and other beliefs. This is a secular website, which I don't endorse, but here it is anyway:
●Syria has seen enormous bloodshed of late. Carnage far worse is coming! (Isaiah17)
●The second coming of Putin as the new Tsar, and Russian President, has just occurred. His name means "pathway" I wonder what path he will take.
Early indications are that he will rebuild Russia's military with an investment of $770bn. He has become more and more anti-west of late. He is no friend of the Jewish state and has befriended Israel's enemies like Iran, Syria and others. He has an alliance of sorts with China. He is a hard-line militarist and a fierce Russian nationalist. He was a KGB agent posted to East Germany in the Soviet Union era. I'm not going to go into the details now, but I've studied the psychological make-up of Putin, suffice to say that he is an extreme controller and fits in to a degree with the psychopathic profiles of Assad and Ahmadinejad.
Is he the chief of the Ezekiel 38 & 39 great war of Gog and Magog? Is he the "chief prince of Rosh" who will the lead Russia and many Islamic nations down the pathway to what will be the Third World War? There's little doubt!
Putin will be President for a six-year term. That takes us up to 2018. In terms of time horizons, we will see this fateful war begin before then, but more about that in upcoming editions.
Syria's Assad and Putin (above)
Iran's Ahmadinejad and Putin (above)
War is always a terrible thing, diplomacy is always the first option. But this brewing situation, whenever it occurs will be unavoidable and inevitable. Ezekiel 38:4 "I will turn you around, put hooks into jaws and lead you out, with all your army, horses and horsemen...all splendidly clothed..." These comments are made to the leader of Rosh (Russia) as they and many Arab allies attack Israel. This marks the beginning of the dreadful war that will be WW111. (By the way there is no harm in applying modern day weapons to this instead of horses.)
●With a US election coming up in November, it's unlikely that the US will initiate any military action in the Middle East beforehand. There's no such issue with Israel though.
●The US has just pledged its support for Israel. Sources have revealed to Debka file that the US will pursue diplomatic solutions, but will also supply Israel with new bunker-busting bombs along with the airborne refuelling facilities for their warplanes.
●Israel is facing war on three fronts right now: Iran, Syria and Lebanon. Internally Gaza is another front. When war does break out there will be numerous other fronts that will open, as other Arab nations also join in. The superpowers will also be drawn in. Don't for one moment underestimate these things!
●The common denominator behind the ancient Arab hatred for Israel and the Jews is this: Islam believes that God began His work the Moses and the Jews. They did not form the Muslim religion, so God ditched them and moved on to Jesus and the prophets. They didn't form the Muslim religion so God ditched them and moved on to Mohammed. He did form the Muslim religion. There (in their eyes) the very existence of a Jewish state and Christian nations is an anathema to them. This is why there will always be conflict between Islam and the Jews and Christians. Islam does not believe in peace. When they talk of peace, they believe in the absence of resistance to Islam!!
Walking in peace in perilous times
We are at the sunset of the age. There is very little time left until deep darkness engulfs the world. The following years are going to be the most dramatic the world has ever seen. The times will be so bad that many people will seek death, but it will flee from them.
Natures upheavals will soon become much worse than ever.
War in the Middle East is coming and WW111 will soon be upon us.
The times will reach a climax of destruction in the tribulation period, but we will experience a great many forerunners of the period beforehand, which is the time we're in now.
In these days many will walk in peace. In fact glorious peace will be available to any believer who chooses to meet the conditions.
The word peace is closely associated with the Hebrew word Shalom. It means: Inner quiet, tranquillity, contentment, deep rest, serenity, freedom. It can also refer to a state of well-being, completeness and soundness.
John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." (The word 'tribulation' here is not the great tribulation, but tribulations in general.)
The peace of God in the believer's life is a touch unreal. It's not of this world!
Characteristics of the end of the age
Romans 1:18 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all unrighteousness of men and ungodliness who suppress the truth in unrighteousness."
The end of the age is characterised by perilous times, ungodliness, unholiness, abounding evil, wars, conflict, hatred, deception, sickness, poverty, natural upheavals and many such things which cause distress, stress and torment.
The tribulation period will see the wrath of God, the wrath of Satan and the wrath of man running simultaneously. It will be the most cataclysmic time the world has even seen or ever will see. Literally, billions of people will die. The time period now just before the tribulation has a few of those characteristics but on a minor scale.
Yes I do believe (cautiously) in a pre-tribulation rapture, but that's not the subject of this edition.
Characteristics of God given peace
Psalm 119:165 "Great peace have they that love your law (word) and nothing causes them to stumble."
John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let your heart not be troubled neither let it be afraid."
Philippians 4:6-7 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplications, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses understanding, will guard your hearts and minds, through Christ Jesus."
In the three verses above, note the main characteristics: They are "great peace" "peace not as the world gives" "peace which surpasses understanding." It is deeply fulfilling producing a glorious inner contentment.
Note that there is a peace of the world. But it is nothing like the peace of God. The world's peace is temporary, shallow and empty.
The peace of God which He gives to us is deep, great, enduring!
The way to God-given peace is holiness! If the way to peace is holiness then we really need a double dose of holiness. The word "holiness" means 'separation' or being 'apart'. See edition 96 titled "Holiness"
The closer you get to our Lord and He gets to you, the more you will see and want purity and holiness. The closer our Lord gets the more you will hate sin and love holiness. This is the path to peace.
In many ways peace corresponds to the incredible beauty of nature. But what's coming in the Millennium is far greater than we can even imagine.
On a personal note, I have a deep love for nature, wilderness, environment and the great wild outdoors. I'm always filled with a thrill as I travel in remote isolated wild places. The deserts and forests of Africa are my favourite places on this earth. I've often wondered why I get this feeling of peace when I'm out in the bush.
It's because I'm distant from everything that makes up the world system. I'm away from people, materialism, politics, and all the strife of mankind.
This peace is great for me personally, but it comes nowhere near the deep peace in and through the Spirit of God.
The peace of God must guard our hearts. In other words, when we're not experiencing the inner peace of God, it means that we need to be refreshed. We must drink at those deep waters regularly to be fully nourished by our Lord. We must be aware that we are in a spiritual environment first and fore mostly, and that there is a real devil out there with his host of demons who wants to bring us down and dry us up.
Colossians 3:15 "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts..."
We must be a gatekeeper and watchman over our own lives. The world creeps in unannounced. It slowly brings a dark cloud over us. We're no backsliding, we may even be doing the Lord's work, but the spark and fire in our heart will slowly go out if we're not vigilant.
Matthew 5:8-9 "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."
Isaiah 58:11 "The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden..."
The morning mist rolling in onto the dunes of the Namib desert (below) can be likened to the refreshing peace of God in a dry world.
John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives do I give to you..."
There is a peace that the world gives. It excludes the necessity for belief, faith holiness or any such thing.
The opposite of the peace of God is a counterfeit worldly peace which is empty, temporary and shallow. It's a peace related to materialism, riches and worldly success, sex, and all forms of indulgence.
It's the pot at the end of the rainbow. It's the end of the race to keep up with the Joneses. It's the end of domination and control. It's the end of self assurance and indulgence. It's "I've arrived"
Because it's of the world, it's of the god of this world. This is why worldly peace can never be truly fulfilling and enduring. Satan will most certainly make you feel good, accepted and loved. But it's for a dangerous purpose. It's to get you hooked on his world, his ways and ultimately on him.
Interestingly, the world peace is symbolised by the peace sign, which is an upside down cross with the two arms broken. This is an ancient satanic symbol but also represents the rejection of the cross of Christ! One day from behind this worldly peace will emerge the devil himself in all his deceptive glory!
Luke 16:15 "You are those who justify yourselves among men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God."
Romans 14:17 "For the kingdom of God is not in food and drink, but in righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."
John 12:25 "He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life."
There's nothing wrong with a bit of worldly fun, but count me out. I just said that to please the worldly fun lovers and the Christian worshippers of the great satanic god Hollywood!
Who qualifies for great peace?
No unbelievers qualify for the peace of God.
Not all believers qualify. There is a price to pay!
Hebrews 12:11 "Now no chastening (discipline) seems to be joyful for the present, but grievous: nevertheless, afterwards it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it."
There is a price to pay. That is not popular amongst today's shallow Christians, but it doesn't change the truth!
The great shock of the age is that "few will enter heaven" "Only those that overcome will enter the kingdom of God." says the Bible in numerous places.
Revelation 3:12 "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God..." The term "he who overcomes" is repeated in all seven of the messages from God to the churches in the Revelation. The promises that follow are only for those who overcome.
Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult (lit=confined) is the way which leads to life and there are few who find it."
Notice the two bolded words in the verse above. There are many who go to destruction and few who go the right way!! The theme of many and few is repeated in many other places in the Bible. It's always the many who miss it!! I know many don't like that story, but it's the truth.
Stop and think for a minute. Will you be one of the many or the few?
Hebrews 12:14 "Pursue peace with all men and holiness without which no one will see the Lord."
James 3:17 "The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable ..."
Look at those bolded words above again. Note how they are linked. Purity and holiness is linked with peace.
The wisdom from above that brings pure refreshing peace is the Word of God, the Spirit of God and the Lamb of God...all as one. Knowledge, wisdom and understanding of God's word comes to us as we study it, led by the Spirit of the living God.
This is where dead letter becomes the very essence of a peace-filled life. Those with no interest in studying God's word will never be able to know Him properly.
There's a very easy way to know if you or someone is really moving forward with our Lord. If you say you love someone, you will love their words. The believer who says he loves the Lord and has no or little interest in the word of God is a counterfeit.
If you love the word of our Lord you won't have much trouble hating the word of the world and it's god. If you really love our Lord and His word, you won't have much trouble pursuing holiness.
There are very few who qualify for God's peace. Today the world's media has become extremely powerful. The god of this world uses media of all types to capture and imprison the masses. They've been fully corrupted and neutralised without even being aware of it! The masses have been 'stupified' by the world's media. They've been formed and moulded by Satan and they're blind to their own terrible state!
Working for peace
Some will say we don't work for peace or anything from God. They are wrong. Yes salvation is free, but there is much more than salvation. Yes the cross of our Lord paid the price, but we still have to take up our own cross daily!
Isaiah 32:17 "The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever."
The verse above is one of my all time favourites. I love it supremely! I know it is so very true. As we set our hearts to work at righteousness and holiness, peace follows.
Have a look at the following verses and note that there are active things to do.
Psalm 34:14 "Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it."
Proverbs 16:7 "When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him"
Isaiah 26:3 "You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You."
Do you want to walk in peace that surpasses understanding? Good, meet the conditions. Here's a list of conditions lifted from the verses above:
●Set your mind steadfastly on our Lord. ●Depart from evil and do good. ●Change your ways and be holy.
The peace the world offers will soon be swallowed up by real true everlasting peace...the peace of the living God! This will be when the Prince of Peace returns as King of Kings and Lord of Lords...and this may be sooner than many think!
But of course we can walk in this peace now in a limited way.
The all important criteria is to know God, to be known by Him and to make Him known. Today many get caught up in the peripheral superficialities of being a Christian. They feed off shallow shepherds and think that's all there is. They miss out on the reality of a deeper, transforming walk with our great God.
Shallow shepherds produce shallow half-starved sheep...targets for wolves!
Acts 20:29 "For I know this, that after my departure, savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock."
At the end of a war, normally a peace treaty is signed and you have peace. In the same sort of way, when the war in our own hearts against the devil is won, we walk into a new dimension of peace.
We come into and experience the peace of God when we go His way. When our lives, like a big jigsaw puzzle fall into their proper pre-ordained place, then we rest from our works.
If your life is not your own, and it is "Christ who lives in you," you will have peace. Does Christ Himself have peace? Of course! So then if I decrease and He increases, so does the peace in my life.
The more we walk in holiness the more attractive and desirable it becomes.
Peace is proof that you are moving forward with our Lord even when the things of the world are shaking
Peace in days of turmoil is a powerful tool of witness and testimony. The unsaved might think you're a crackpot, but they are often shaken at your stability and inner beautiful peace..
Imagine the stupidity of spending your life chasing after a hand full of hot steaming cow-dung!
Philippians 3:8 "But indeed I count all things as loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish (lit-dung) that I might gain Christ."
I know of a number of people who've given up great worldly pursuits to set their hearts exclusively after our Lord, just like Paul the apostle in the verse above.
Of course, you don't all need to do that as well, although that is most certainly first prize.
Many try to balance success in the world and in the Kingdom and do manage to pull it off. I know of far too many who've been sidetracked by the deceitfulness of riches and become totally neutralised and backslidden.
Being successful at what God has called you to is the key. But know this; walking in worldly success must always be balanced with separation from the spirit of the world. Yes we can be successful in the devil's world, but only as we fix our spiritual eyes on the Kingdom of God.
The age to come
There is so much about the Millennium that we don't know or can't even imagine. But we do know that it will be the full manifestation of peace. This peace will be in all realms. Even nature itself will be changed and ruled by supreme peace. The nature of the entire universe will be holiness and peace!
The soon coming Millennium will be a time of unprecedented peace. It will also be a time of supreme holiness! Unfortunately, those working for peace now in the New Age movement and the Interfaith Movement will not see it. They will have been cast off the earth at the second coming!
It's worth remembering that we only get one life and that we can't go back and do it again the right way. But this is the great news. If you've really messed up your life, you do have the opportunity to "redeem the time" This means that we can buy back the time that the devil has stolen by setting our hearts after our Messiah in a new, fresh way.
Ephesians 5:15-17 "See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, for the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is."
Inner strength, peace and tranquillity in terrible times is a real blessing.
My friends, we are on the very doorstep of tumultuous times. We're about to see a dramatic increase in the outpouring of the Spirit of God. At the same time there will be (and is already) a dramatic outpouring of the spirit of evil, as the revealing of antichrist nears.
The battle and conflict is firstly in the spirit realm, but we will see the manifestation of it on all fronts. Will you be swept away with the spirit of antichrist, or will you stand strong, as an overcomer with the "peace of God guarding your heart"?
►I warn you now...do not be complacent. The numbers in the scriptures relating to those who fall away are shocking!
Proverbs 3:17 "Her ways (wisdom) are ways of pleasantness and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her..."
Colossians 1:28 "Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus."
Here's a painting by Tom duBois depicting the peace in the garden of Eden. What is coming in the Millennium will be worldwide peace on an unprecedented scale in human nature and nature itself.
The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace
Shalom and grow in grace!
