1 Chronicles 21:1 “Now Satan stood up against Israel...”
Zechariah 3:2 “The Lord said to Satan, the Lord rebuke you Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you.”
2 Chronicles 33:4 “...The Lord said, My name shall be in Jerusalem forever.”
Psalm 125:3 “The sceptre of wickedness will not rest on the land allotted to the righteous.”
Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

Shabbat Shalom to all!
The course of Israel and the church:
The course of Israel has a number of parallels with the course of the church, and many direct opposites to the course of the world.
I have compiled a few of the many verses relating to God’s relationship with Israel and the church – for your benefit. In this day, pressure is mounting on both. In reality it is mounting on God’s relationship with the two. The course of the world must be considered too.
It’s of great importance to know these things and to know them well. Do not be neutral! If you are, you will succumb to increasing satanic pressure and are likely to turn and come against the work of God, beginning your ride down a slippery slope.
Have a look at these amazing verses below and note the progression, as seen in the words in bold.
Exodus 4:22 “Say to Pharaoh, ‘Israel is My son, My firstborn.”
Hosea 11:1 “When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son.”
Romans 9:26 “It shall come to pass where it was said to them (Israel), ‘you are not My people’, there they will be called, sons of the living God.’”
Numbers 6:27 “So they shall put My name on the children of Israel and I will bless them.”
Hosea 2:19 “I will betroth you (Israel) to Me forever; yes, I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in loving kindness and mercy.”
Jeremiah 31:4 “Again I will build you and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel...You shall be adorned.”
Isaiah 54:5-6 “Your maker (Israel) is your husband, the Lord of hosts is His name...He is called the God of the whole earth.”
There are many similarities in these verses with God’s work in the church, but please note that most of these verses and terms above relate to family. This indicates a warm, personal relationship. It is not a cold religious law and works-based relationship.
So, God has a family called Israel as well as the church. You don’t want to mess with God’s family! Only the blind or stupid would do so.
As we see in these verses above, the course of Israel goes from the call to leave Egypt to birth, to child, to son, to virgin, to marriage, to receiving His name, to husband. What an incredible journey!
Do you see the course of the church right here too.
The church is called out of Egypt (the world) as we are born-again. We begin life at this new-birth. We are the children of God, we are virgins in spirit, (and are born of the One who was born of a virgin). We are betrothed and soon to sit at the “marriage feast of the Lord.” We have received His name upon us – Christian (Acts 11:26) Christian = Christ in us. We are the bride of our Husband of glory.
In the verse below we see that the marriage relationship – a covenant, lasts for a thousand generations. In other words, it’s ongoing. No, God has not cast away His people. (Romans 11:2, 25)
Deuteronomy 7:9 “God is a faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations, with those who love Him and keep His word.”
The verse below shows that the world is on another course, but it is a planned and plotted course,
Ephesians 2:2-3 “You once walked according to the course of this world, according to the power of the prince of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience.”
The course of the world led by its prince of darkness, is into Egypt (the world-system) ending in hell. The course of the world is lined with disobedience and rebellion to God.
The course of Israel and the church is out of Egypt, which is a type of the world – to glory!
The course of saved Israel and the church, places us in family relationship now. The course and destiny of the church including born-again Jews is heaven, while those saved in the tribulation will be on course for the Millennium, but then at the end of it all – the grand eternal plan of God comes about, which is ultimate, union of God’s entire family forever in the eternity of eternities.
Set your eyes upon these things. Bow down your heart and mind to our Lord and His word and you will see great and mighty things! It’s all by divine design!

Refuting an “imminent” rapture:
These are words of life!
The word “imminence” means: “It is impending and due to happen”. The word as used in the context of the rapture has come to mean: “It’s due at any time with no preceding signs”. An imminent rapture is the majority opinion amongst Bible teachers. I do not support this view.
This is not an issue for division, but there are important consequences.
I most certainly do believe that the rapture is imminent using the definition of, “Its coming soon.” The usage of “imminent,” meaning, you cannot know when, is what I am refuting.
In this edition, I will share with you some amazing truths.
My view on this is nothing new and has been the minority consensus right through the church age. I began teaching on this subject in the early 80’s, and nothing has changed except that some more things have come to light and been added as the time approaches.
The judgements of God:
There are a number of great judgements revealed in the Bible, which you would be wise to consider.
- The events of the cross are in fact a judgement upon, and removal of sin.
- The rapture of the true church places us at the “Judgement Seat (Bema) of Messiah. This is a judgement exclusively for rewards. (The believer’s sin has been removed.)
- The tribulation period as a whole is a judgement upon the sin of the world and Israel.
- The sheep and goat judgement of the nations occurs right at the very end of the tribulation period, after Armageddon.
- The Great White Throne judgement of all unbelievers occurs at the end of the Millennium. (Revelation 20:12)
- We are told in the Bible that if we judge ourselves now (in line with scripture), we will not be judged with the world. (1 Corinthians 11:31)
Can we know when the rapture will take place?
We may not know right down to the final day and hour. But even that prophecy has a wonderful twist to it as you will see further down.
I believe that as the day approaches we will get more light on the subject. Yes we can know down to a very short period of time. Read on my friends, and my sceptical friends.
It’s not in God’s character to catch us out. It is the unbeliever who will be caught out!
There will be many signs, but there is one great big sign, which is the subject of this edition.
The Rapture and Rosh Hashanah (The Feast of Trumpets):
The seven feast of the Lord in their biblical order, paint a dramatic picture of the course of God’s redemptive plan and actions with Israel, the church and Israel again in the tribulation period. Each of the feasts points to a major prophetic milestone event.
The first four feasts have already been fulfilled in the events of the cross and the formation of the church. These are: ●Passover (the cross) ●Unleavened bread (Holiness), ●Firstfruits (Resurrection), ●Pentecost (Church age begins). The unfulfilled feasts are: ●Rosh Hashanah (Rapture, start of tribulation), ●Atonement (Wrath of God), ●Tabernacles (Second Coming / Millennium)
Just as surely as the church age began at Pentecost with the indwelling Holy Spirit in the hearts of believers, it will end with the church, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, being removed. It is absolutely inconceivable, and impossible, that these things will not happen.
It is impossible that the final three feasts will not be fulfilled in the same literal manner as the first four were. If this is the case, the next feast to be fulfilled is Rosh Hashanah / Trumpets.
Amazing prophetic details of Rosh Hashanah:
Rosh Hashanah is followed by Yom Kippur (Days of Awe) and the Feasts of Tabernacles.
Yom Kippur will be fulfilled in the tribulation period by the wrath of God.
Rosh Hashanah announces a ten-day period of Awe culminating in Yom Kippur itself. In other words, prophetically, it announces the tribulation period.
Rosh Hashanah is also known as the day of judgement and the day of repentance. (Relating to Israel)
Rosh Hashanah is also called the Feast of Trumpets, because 100 trumpet blasts are sounded culminating in one long blast known as the “last trump.”
One of the meanings of the trumpet blasts is, “The awakening trumpet blast.”
On Rosh Hashanah the righteous are confirmed to be written in the book of life. Others are given 10 days, until Yom Kippur (Day of Awe) to repent. That is a perfect type of people getting saved after the rapture in the tribulation period. (Tribulation saints)
It is most important that we take special and urgent note of what Rosh Hashanah symbolises. It symbolises the beginning of judgement on Israel. It symbolises the time leading to the “wrath of God.” It symbolises the repentance of Israel, which we know from numerous other scriptures begins and runs through the tribulation period.
So, Rosh Hashanah speaks prophetically of the major dispensation change ending the church age, and the new beginning of the season of repentance and judgement upon Israel.
Rosh Hashanah speaks to Israel and the church because it signals this dispensation change.
There are many other exciting things about this feast, like the coronation of the King and others, but the real big thing is that it symbolises the start of the tribulation period also called the time of Jacob’s (Israel’s) trouble and Daniel’s seventieth week.
Again, I must remark: This is the next feast in line to be fulfilled and if not fulfilled by these things, what else would it be?
Plain, simple logic dictates that if this feast symbolises the tribulation start, then it must also symbolise the pre-tribulation rapture of the church as the church dispensation ends.
So, do we have any signs for the rapture? Yes of course we do. It is Rosh Hashanah.
That means we are very close to this happening, what a wonderful comfort!
Psalm 47:5 “God has gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.”
Which Rosh Hashanah?
The answer is – I don’t know for absolute sure.
I suspect that it will be this next one coming along on September 19th next year. We will know by the many other signs that will have to be in place right then.
The entire jigsaw puzzle needs to be complete and in place.
Looking at the speed at which all the ducks are lining up, it looks very much like it will be the next one. We will see these things approaching.
There are indicators as to which one it will be, revealed in the patterns of the jubilee’s, but more on that another time.
The “anytime” rapture:
The view that the rapture could happen at any time without warning, obviously means that the tribulation period is also going to begin in the same manner.
Some erroneously teach that there will be a period of time, as much as ten years or so, between the rapture and the tribulation start. There is no scriptural basis for that, besides that, there can never be an inter-dispensation time period. One begins as the previous on closes.
The removal of the restrainer releases the antichrist immediately. (2 Thessalonians 2:6-8) These two events begin the tribulation period immediately. There is no long time gap.
The most common reason given for a rapture at any time is the verse, “Of that day and hour, no one knows...” (Matthew 24:36) Firstly, that refers to a very specific, short time and most certainly not a longer time period like a month or year.
But let me destroy another widely held view. They say, “no one knows the day or hour.” Wrong! It says “Of that day and hour no one knows”. The word “of” means the surrounding issues and characteristics! “Of” is not a time word, it describes the conditions at the time.
Some say that not even the Lord knows when the rapture will be, but the Father only. They are right because that’s what the verse says. But it is referring to the time period when Yeshua was on this earth in the domain of many evil spirits and in a physical body.
Zechariah 14:7 “It shall be one day which is known to the Lord – neither day nor night, but at evening time it shall happen that it will be light.”
Secondly, the “day and hour” is a play on Rosh Hashanah, which is also known as, “the feast of which no one knows the day or hour”. This is why the feast is held over two days, because it begins when the new moon is sighted, which, in those days could only be determined within two days.
The rapture will take place in a “twinkling of an eye.” This is also a play on Rosh Hashanah which begins at the “twinkling of an eye,” meaning the time period at dusk just as the sun sets when it briefly “twinkles.” This is a long held traditional view in Hebrew circles.
That also identifies the rapture “twinkling” (1 Corinthians 15:52), with Rosh Hashanah.
Some say that if we knew when the rapture would occur, Christians would continue living like the devil until the last moment. That argument is so ridiculous I won’t even address it.
Pre or Post?
The big debate in Christian circles is a pre or post tribulation rapture. Obviously, I’m solidly in the pre trib camp. But let me add that the post trib crowd have some convincing arguments (and some real bad ones). At the end of it all, the pre-tribulation rapture wins the day.
A post tribulation rapture would seriously damage the prophetic importance and implications of Rosh Hashanah as I have explained above. It makes Israel the church and would nullify the messages of Rosh Hashanah.
As we get glimpses into heaven, we see that rewards are given to Christians immediately after the rapture, long before the Second Coming. We see the 24 elders already rewarded in heaven while the tribulation is on the go on earth.
The armies in heaven clothed in white, fine linen (which is the righteous acts of the saints – Revelation 19:8) follow our Lord back to earth at the Second Coming. (Zechariah 14:5)
Revelation 19:14 “And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.”
So, the church returns already rewarded.
At the Second Coming our Lord returns from a wedding (Luke 12:36) He returns with His bride. How can Yeshua return from the wedding feast if the wedding hasn’t taken place yet? The post tribulation rapture leaves no place or time for the marriage feast.
The rapture will occur at the last trumpet blast (1 Corinthians 15:52). Many people mix this up with the last trump of the Revelation at the Second Coming. Paul wrote his letter describing the last trumpet, long before John wrote the Revelation, so how could Paul have been referring to the Revelation trumpet, which John had not even written about yet?
Now let’s have a brief look at some other amazing rapture terms:
►The term “caught up” (1 Thessalonians 4:18) is the rapture.
►The term “gather together unto Him” is the rapture. (2 Thessalonians 2:1)
►The term in which the restrainer is “taken out of the way” (2 Thessalonians 2:6-7) is the rapture.
►The term, “Keep you from” the hour of trial to come upon the whole world (tribulation), means to be kept clean out away from, in time and space. (Revelation 3:10) It is the rapture. The word “from” in the verse above is Strong’s G575 “Apo.” Meanings: A “separation”, or “physical distance from”.
►The term “has come in” relating to the full number of the Gentiles which must come in, before God’s work swings over to saving the Jews, is the rapture. (Romans 11:25)
►The term, “Come up here” (Revelation 4:1) is the rapture of John to heaven to receive the book of Revelation, but it is an important type of the rapture of the church at the end of the church age, revealed in the previous three chapters. After this event the church is not seen on earth throughout the tribulation.
►The term “The great apostasy” (2 Thessalonians 2:3) can also mean a departure, or the rapture itself! The verse ties the apostasy to the revealing of the antichrist and says nothing at all about a falling away from the faith! Apostasy in relation to falling away from the faith has already occurred significantly in the Catholic-created dark ages.
►The rapture of the two witnesses occurs sometime near mid tribulation, if you read all the surrounding verses. (Revelation 11:12) This begs the question: If there is to be a post-tribulation rapture, why are these two raptured long before the Second Coming?
Looking watching and praying:
Even though we can be pretty sure that the rapture / tribulation start will occur on a Feast of Trumpets, we still need to watch and pray, look for and analyse all the signs, and discern the voice of the Lord in it all.
Titus 2:13 “Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Yeshua the Messiah.”
Hebrews 9:28 “To those who eagerly wait for Him, He will appear a second time, apart from sin for salvation.”
1 Corinthians 1:7 “See to it that you came short in no gift, eagerly awaiting the revelation of our Lord Yeshua, the Messiah.” (Note that the gifts continue till the rapture.)
Philippians 3:20 “Our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for our Saviour.”
1 Thessalonians 1:10 “We wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Yeshua who delivers us from the wrath to come.”
Glimpses into heaven:
Revelation 7:9 “After these things I looked and behold a great multitude which no one could number of all nations, tribes, peoples and tongues, standing before the throne, before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands.”
This event takes place “after these things”, which refers to the seal judgements on the go on earth and is well before the Second Coming.
Palm branches are symbols of victory, triumph and peace.
Revelation 12:12 “Therefore rejoice O heavens and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows he has a short time.”
This scenario above is impossible to place at the end of the tribulation.
Rapture and Second Coming signs:
There may be no immediately visible signs of the rapture, but there most certainly are many relating to Israel and the soon coming tribulation.
Because the rapture, the end of the church dispensation, and the start of the next are so close together in time, it is perfectly legitimate to look to the coming tribulation start as the great sign of the approaching rapture.
Another big sign of the coming tribulation is the coming peace treaty. We will see that coming. It may or may not have some degree of fulfilment in the Kushner “Deal of the century,” soon to be revealed.
Other big signs include the coming war of Gog and Magog, the Damascus war and the Psalm 83 war.
The following scripture relates to the signs at the Second Coming and not the rapture:
Matthew 24:29-31 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light. The stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory and He will send His angels with the sound of a great trumpet and they will gather together the elect from the four winds, from the one end of heaven to the other.”
The “elect” who are “gathered” in the verse above, are the tribulation saints, not the church, who are in heaven at this point.
He will gather His elect at the great trumpet, which is NOT the last trumpet for the church age. At the rapture there are no signs like we see here for the Second Coming when the sun is darkened and moon and stars fall from the sky etc.
At the Second Coming, “All the nations will mourn” and “Every eye will see Him” Every eye will see Him because He will descend to the Mount of Olives in the same manner as He left, which was slowly, with all eyes on Him. This is absolutely not a description of the rapture!
At the rapture our Lord descends to the clouds in a blinding flash to snatch believers up in a moment. (atomo = atomic instant.) He does not come to the earth.
Why is the rapture a meeting in the sky, while the Second Coming is distinctly on earth? It seems odd. The meeting at the Second Coming takes place on the Mount of Olives, and not in the sky.
The answer is to clearly distinguish between the two events. They are separate events and not the same event as claimed by the post-trib crowd.
The unsaved world will not expect the rapture. (1 Thessalonians 5:1-5) To them He comes as a thief in the night. None but the saved will see Him. Destruction comes suddenly. “But you brethren are not in darkness that this day should overtake you.”
Matthew 24:33-34 (The sign of the ripening fig tree – Israel) “When you see all these things, know (Original word = a command to know) that it is near, at the very door. This generation (of Jews) will not pass away until all these things are fulfilled.”
I took this picture of a kokerboom (quiver) tree in Namaqualand and mixed it with feathers.
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
Edition 498: December 3rd 2019
Rapture of the remnant:
These are words of life!
There are many who believe every single Christian will be raptured and others who believe that only those that meet certain conditions will be raptured. Of course this is a very important issue which we need to look into diligently.
The bottom line is that every true born-again Christian will be raptured. But that is a small group! It consists of few amongst the many of those who call themselves the church. Those of the counterfeit or false church, not truly born-again, will not be raptured. Only the remnant few will be.
Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate for wide is the gate that leads to destruction and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult (confined) is the way which leads to life and there are few who find it.”
We need to examine objectively who the true church is, and who it is not and why.
In these end-times the gap between the true and the false church is widening. The “remnant church” is a fairly broad term used for true, Bible-believing and applying Christians who have been properly born-again and who have the fruits to prove it.
It is not enough to simply profess to be a Christian, without the active new-birth, repentance and the following fruits.
It really is not up to us to decide who is truly born-again or not, although we can tell by the fruits. This edition is simply to present you with some frightening realities and guidelines.
The Bible indicates that those who are truly saved will be taken in the rapture and the others will be left behind.
Sin resides in the fallen self-life or soul area of the believer. Through the new-birth, the Spirit of God resides in the spirit-man of the believer, which is now one with God. The unbeliever has a fallen nature in soul and spirit.
It is only the new-birth that re-creates us as new beings, perfect in spirit. This inner perfection then works through to our soul and thinking, renewing and changing us from within, as we renew our minds daily.
God will not dwell with sin in His presence. So it is logical then that only the truly saved qualify for the rapture. That makes it exclusive, which is a reason why worldly thinking despises it.
Who is who in the zoo?
Shock and horror comes into the picture as we look at the identifying factors of whom the real church is and who it is not and why!
Proverbs 24:20 “There will be no prospect for the evil man. The lamp of the wicked will be put out.”
Psalm 10:4 “The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts.”
The most dangerous “Christians” are those who get rid of, or downplay the cross and its work in us.
Beware of the modern principles of tolerance and passivity. When you have to change the age-old tenets of scripture to make them relevant to today, you are in trouble. God convicts of sin. If you remove or change what sin is, you remove conviction and you are on the slippery slope.
Mixing the word and the world, sin and holiness is like trying to mix God and the devil.
The false church, biblically called the “harlot” church will be huge. (Revelation 17:1) The remnant church is the biblical Philadelphian church. (Revelation 3:7-13) Don’t go with the flow of the blinded masses. Set your sail into the wind.
1 John 4:1-6 “Test the spirits whether they are of God, for many false prophets have gone out...They speak of the world and the world listens to them. We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; by this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.”
Proverbs 16:2 “All the ways of man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits.”
The remnant church is the “light of the world”. It is the “pillar and foundation of truth”. (1 Timothy 3:15) Once it is gone in the rapture, deep darkness immediately descends into the fallen “temple” of this world. Once the light has gone and the pillars have been removed, the false church will speedily join the multi-faith delusion with the evil powers of false prophet driving it.
Identifying the fake church
The false, counterfeit, fake church is all around us and growing fast. You will know them by their fruits, which will become manifest especially when the pressure is on.
It is possible to be exactly like a Christian, but not be one!
The nature of the counterfeit Christian church today is easily identifiable if you know where to look: ●It consists of the lukewarm and those mixed with worldliness. ●It consists of the superficial, and those who do not clearly distinguish between light and dark, truth and error. ●It consists of those with hazy doctrine. ●It consists of those who are of “another Jesus,” who are enemies of the cross of Messiah and have no cross of their own to take up. ●It consists of those who hate correction and discipline and want nothing to do with judgement. ●It consists of those with no price to pay, who don’t “count the cost” of discipleship. ●It consists of those whose main chant is “Me now,” and “I am he.” ●It consists of those who love the world and being approved by it. ●It consists of those who secretly love their sin. ●It consists of the spiritually untidy (normally seen in general untidiness too). ●It consists of those with no prayer life. ●It consists of those with no interest in evangelism. ●It consists of those who don’t forgive others. ●It consists of those who are blind to the kingdom of God, and blind to the kingdom of this world.
The counterfeit Christian hates denial of self, never talks of, or even believes in hell and judgement to come. He hates being warned and barks at the warning signs.
This “me-now” generation of Christians is the “get more” generation. It is those who have manufactured, with doctrinal support, new modern-day idols of materialism.
The churches that won’t teach or deal with current events, eschatology in particular, are either blind or a fraud. They are Christian fake-news. The avoidance of current events creates the illusion for their feel-good suckers, that everything is fine and will continue as always. (2 Peter 3:4)
The false church has no power. They think they do, but they don’t. They do have the power of deception through manipulation which they use masterfully.
What a shock many professing Christians who put their hand up in a meeting to accept the Lord, will get when the Lord says to them. “I don’t accept you, depart from me, I never knew you”! What a terrifying shock many will get when they are left behind at the rapture!
2 Peter 2 is all about the danger of false doctrine. Here are some of the headings within the chapter from my Bible: ●Destructive doctrines. ●The doom of false teachers. ●The depravity of false teachers. ●The deceptions of false teachers! Please study this chapter.
Galatians 1:8 “If we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached, let him be accursed.”
Galatians 2:5 “We did not yield submission even for an hour (to false brethren) that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.”
Jude 1:3-4 “...I am exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints, for certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men who turn the grace of God into licentiousness and deny the Lord.”
►It is important to know how Satan can bring down a Christian:
It begins with bad fellowship and its influence. Truths once held are cast aside and new modern, acceptable, tolerant and relevant “truth” comes in – all in the name of love. Then the major foundational doctrines of salvation get cast aside in favour of worldly, universal doctrines. These people then become enemies of the cross of Messiah and often end up as all-out enemies of God and His people.
The truth will set you free”, says the Bible. But the truth in the devil’s hands will bring you into bondage in the name of “truth” and freedom! Spiritual discernment is required.
The modern church makes you happy in the world, and pleased with yourself rather than having a fear of God and of your own inner potential to be your own proud god.
Unity is powerful and good, but only when it’s of God. Be careful of whom you come into unity with.
Building a new world, or even a Christian world, mans way, in unity, is just like the building of the Tower of Babel, and we know how that ended. (Genesis 11:6)
The character of the true rapture-ready, remnant church:
Knowledge of the rapture, even if it is basic, is essential for your life’s walk today.
The pre-tribulation rapture view is found predominantly (not exclusively) amongst Spirit-filled churches. This speaks volumes! What also speaks volumes is that most of the post-trib rapture believers are of the Spirit-less churches like the orthodox churches.
If you are right with God from His perspective: ●You love and exalt His word and its author the Holy Spirit. ●You receive correction and discipline easily and well. ●You walk in supernatural, sustaining power. ●You eagerly reject the word of the world and its ways. ●You see the spirits of the world clearly. ●You operate in the gifts of the Spirit as required. ●You un-questioningly receive, love and stand with God’s plans for Israel, the Jews, and Jerusalem. ●You endure hardship.
The cross must always be central. A Christian with the battle-scars of the cross on his life is safe.
The application of the cross produces death and resurrection. It kills you and raises you to newness of life. The cross kills you the great “I am.” It slays your pride. You cannot be free from inner, deadly pride without the ministry of the cross in your life.
You can tell a lot about a ministry by its alliances and affiliates. “Show you me your friends and I’ll tell you what sort of person you are.”
The godly church will be known by the quantity of Bible exposition it presents. Too many are ill-informed and ignorant of the full truth. They are churches of personal opinion.
Biblical, Spirit-led truth is a most amazing, wonderful and terrifying thing! It breaks hearts wide open and shines light inside. It softens hearts and sets them on fire with zeal, and love for God. It hardens un-surrendered hearts and shines darkness into them.
The true, safe, godly church will be known by its special place for Israel and God’s word on Israel in their ministry and lives. They will also strongly come against replacement theology.
Joel 2:15-16 “Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly...Let the bridegroom go out of his chambers and the bride from her dressing room.”
The context of the verse above is the Second Coming of the Lord and not the rapture, which would have occurred seven years before this. But note that our Lord (the bridegroom) leaves heaven to descend to earth at the Second Coming, with His bride – the church!
Assuring your salvation:
Romans 8:38-39 “I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God...”
The verse above is a comfort to all who believe. It is an assuring anchor of great security.
But note that there is one important ingredient not here, which is the item that can cause the loss of salvation. It is you yourself!
No, nothing can cause you to lose your salvation except yourself. You can throw it away, and there are many verses indicating that. But we most certainly do not drift in and out of salvation. It is absolutely safe, secure, protected and preserved, if we don’t reject it ourselves.
Hebrews 6:4-6 “It is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and tasted of the heavenly gift and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and tasted of the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.”
2 Peter 2:20 “If, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world, through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse than the beginning.”
Revelation 2:5 “Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.”
John 15:2-6 “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away, and every branch that bears fruit He prunes...If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they come and gather them and cast them into the fire.”
We must actively work on our salvation.
We as born-again Christians are not working for our salvation. We are working for the salvation of our soul. The word for soul is “psuche” from where the word psyche and psychology comes from. It is the realm of our thinking, personality and character.
1 Peter 1:8-9 “...Now you do not see Him, yet believing you rejoice, with joy inexpressible, and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith – the salvation of your souls.”
Romans 6:22 “Now having being set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit of holiness, and the end, everlasting life.”
When your life’s motivation is to glorify our Lord, you are on the right track.
John 7:18 “He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but he who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true and no unrighteousness is in Him.”
Psalm 18:20-21 “The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands, for I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God.”
Note that eternal rewards are given for holiness!
Proverbs 23:7 “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”
I’ve said much about the importance of your thinking of late, and will continue to do so. It is so very important. It is the channel of the devil, or the fortress of God. It creates your actions, your beliefs and more. It will get you rewarded in eternity or leave you with nothing but disappearing smoke for a reward.
Think on these things:
Luke 2:35 “A sword will pierce through your own soul that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
Jeremiah 17:9-10 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked. Who can know it? I the Lord search the heart (thoughts). I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways and the fruit of his doings.”
Proverbs 12:5 “The thoughts of the righteous are right, but the counsels of the wicked are deceitful.”
1 Chronicles 28:9 “As for you my son Solomon, know the God of your father and serve Him with a loyal heart and a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.”
To the “Christians” who thought they were saved and were not and get left behind at the rapture, it is the end of the world, but not completely so for you personally. You will still have an opportunity to repent and make right with God in the tribulation period.
That will make you a “tribulation saint,” and qualify you for the Millennium, but you will go through seven years of hell on earth, but you won’t end up in real hell.
If you throw out the opportunity in the tribulation, you will go to hell with all unbelievers.
Psalm 73:17 “When I went into the sanctuary, I understood their end...O how they are brought to desolation in a moment. They are consumed with terrors.”
Backsliders come home! Prodigal sons and daughters come home! Backsliding Israel come home, your time is running out fast!
The backslider does not lose his salvation, but he is on a deadly path.
You can lose nothing by coming to our Lord now, or put yourself in immense danger by failing to do so. Be biblically diligent with your life.
Psalm 132:4-5 “I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids, until I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling place for the mighty God of Jacob.”
Psalm 139:23 “Search me O Lord and known my heart; try me and know my anxieties; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
Psalm 130:6 “My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning. I say, more than those who watch for the morning.”
And at the end of the tribulation period – what a wonder:
Revelation 19:13-14 “He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called, The Word of God, and the armies in heaven clothed in fine linen, white and clean followed Him on white horses.”
Psalm 73:24 “You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterwards, receive me to glory.” (Rapture)
Wisdom derived from biblical truth is a wonderful place to rest.

Edition 497: November 26th 2019
Defending the rapture:
These are words of life!
This edition is a timely, important defence of the pre-tribulation rapture of the true church of the living God. It is a summary of some of the many, important factors and includes some new material that I have never shared before.
The next edition continues the theme.
I have a lot of material on this and related subjects that I have not shared before and will do so as we move forward and as the Lord leads. Right now we are again in a bit of a prophetic impasse, so we just have to wait, which is not my style!
There are some exciting facts in this edition, don’t underestimate it! Some of these points are very strong and other less so. I’ve simply put them all together for your benefit.
As these end-time events roll on, the doctrine of the pre-tribulation rapture is coming under greater attack. That’s what we would expect from the world, but not from within the church. (Much of it) This, as always, has a negative influence upon new believers, and the weak.
In effectively examining these things, we also need to look at the contra-position. In other words, what evidence is there for a post-tribulation rapture and what would its effects be?
Although there is a growing attack on the pre-tribulation rapture, there is also a new acceptance of it by numerous teachers and ministries open to the truth of God’s word.
As the tribulation approaches, the faith of many will be rocked, hijacked and overthrown. The faith of others will grow stronger and stronger.
This edition is designed to strengthen your beliefs, hope and faith.
Why the big attack on the rapture?
The first big thing to understand is that Satan is not afraid of, or barred from using the church, or at least the church which has many demonic doors open to him.
●It is to nullify, negate and neutralise that which damages him and his despicable kingdom. ●It is to remove obstacles in his way and create obstacles for Gods people. ●It is to keep his people in perpetual darkness. ●It is to prevent as many believers as possible from godly knowledge, victory and triumph. ●Satan’s big thing is to hide and obscure his position as god of the world. ●His plan is to mess up God’s plans for the church and Israel.
This is how Satan works:
He works to discredit the truth through the use of confusion, false teachers and messages. They then misrepresent error as truth, and you end up being misdirected and misinformed. Once you have swallowed the misconception that the pre-tribulation rapture is myth, you are ready to receive the replacement lie that you are going through the tribulation.
If you submit to Satan’s working, you will be supernaturally blinded to the truth. In place of your sight, you will receive blindness from the false authority of the half-seeing eye of the evil one, masquerading as an angel of light. You will be the victim of your own great miscalculation, because you rejected the leading of the Spirit of God.
Proverbs 24:20 “There will be no prospect for the evil man. The lamp of the wicked will be put out.”
The rapture separates, is exclusive and conditional. It will come as the compromised church’s biggest shock as they are excluded.
The compromised, half-baked church always attacks truth that offends it.
We must understand that the attack on the pre-tribulation rapture comes primarily from churches that believe in a post-tribulation rapture. (More on this in the next edition!)
Pre-tribulation rapture evidence:
►In the messages to the seven churches of the Revelation, Yeshua concludes each letter with: “He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. We see the same admonition in verses used to describe the tribulation period, but with an important exclusion. Revelation 13:9-10 “He, who has an ear, let him here.” “Churches” is omitted.
It’s strange that the word “churches” is missing for the same discourse but now in the tribulation. I wonder why that would be? It’s because the church is not in the tribulation.
►The dramatic opening verses of the book of Revelation sees our Lord walking majestically between seven lampstands (Menorahs) Revelation 1:20 “...These are the seven churches.”
Now, we come to the most enlightening rapture of John to heaven. Revelation 4:1 “Come up here,” is the word! Immediately John is caught up to heaven and he sees twenty four elders clothed in white, with gold crowns on their heads. (Being clothed in white and having crowns indicates rewards already given.)
At the same time John sees seven lamps blazing before the throne of God in heaven. (Revelation 4:5) Here, the seven lamps are called the seven Spirits of God. The Spirit of God is in the heart of the believer. These seven lamps are the seven churches, with the seven Spirits in their heart.
But note that the rapture of John and his seeing of these things happens before the tribulation events begin with the first seal being opened, releasing the antichrist on earth.
►The Bible succinctly describes two end-time comings of the Lord. In the first, we are told that we will be caught up to “meet the Lord in the air” in atomic split second. The second sees no such thing, as believers are seen by everyone, returning from heaven with our Lord at the Second Coming.
The reason for the big difference between the two comings is to identify two separate events, separated by a period of time (seven years in this case.) They cannot be the same event.
►The Bible teaches that the righteous are taken at the rapture and the wicked are left behind (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17. But then we see that the wicked are taken to judgement and the righteous are left behind. (Matthew 13:30, 49)
Do we have a problem here? Relax, it is no problem because the former relates to the rapture and the latter relates to the Second Coming! Again, this is powerful proof of two distinct comings.
►Consider these facts: As born-again believers, we have the Holy Spirit “glued” into our hearts. We depend on Him, His leading, His provision, gifts, voice and more. There is widely held consensus that the biblical “restrainer” to be taken out of the way at the start of the tribulation is the church filled with the Holy Spirit, which I believe. Some believe it is the Holy Spirit alone that will be removed, which I reject. Some believe that the restrainer is the Archangel Michael, which I reject.
But here is the point: If the church goes through the tribulation, it would then be the Holy Spirit that is the restrainer, which is to be removed. How do you get the Holy Spirit out of the believer’s heart? The tribulation is going to be the worst time mankind has ever seen, and now he has to go unprepared into the fray!
►The tribulation period is a judgement on the unsaved world. The true believer has God in his heart, through the new-birth, by the Holy Spirit. God cannot judge Himself. The true church has already been judged at the cross of Calvary and its future judgement at the “bema seat’” is exclusively for rewards.
►In relation to the above point, legally, a person cannot be judged twice for the same crime. True Christians have already been judged for all sin through the cross. If the church goes through the tribulation, which is judgement upon sin, it would mean we are judged twice.
►Enoch was raptured alive unto God. He was a Gentile and represents the mostly Gentile church. His name means “teaching”, which is of course the main ministry of the church. Enoch was raptured before the flood of Noah, a type of the tribulation.
If Enoch is a type of the rapture, as he is, then Jude seems to seal it. Jude 1:14 “Enoch the seventh from Adam prophesied about these men also, saying, ‘Behold the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints to execute judgement on all.”
This verse above implies that “saints” who will be returning with the Lord are in fact the church, meaning that they have been in heaven with Him during the tribulation on earth.
►Lot was removed from Sodom, before the judgement fell on the city.
►Rahab the Gentile was removed to a camp outside the walls of Jericho before the city fell.
►Joseph, a type of Messiah, took a Gentile bride, before the seven years of famine, a type of the tribulation. He was married to her during the time he was rejected by his Jewish brothers.
►Moses married a Gentile bride after his rejection by his brethren and before their “tribulation in the wilderness.” (Exodus 2:21) She gave birth to their son named Gershom, which means: “Stanger in a foreign land.” The name could also mean, “Gentile.” This may be a reference to the Gentile church and a pre-tribulation rapture.
►The Feast of Trumpets: Jewish tradition holds that the gates of heaven are opened on Rosh Hashanah that the righteous may enter in. (Psalm 118:19-20) There is much to say about the Feast of Trumpets and the rapture – next edition!
►The rapture marks a required dispensation change, from the church age to the seven year tribulation, which is the closing of the Old Covenant dispensation, now on hold. The seven-year period is also called the seventieth week of Daniel. It still has to be fulfilled. No rapture, no dispensation change!
►The conditions on earth at that time of the seven-year tribulation are consistent with Old Covenant times, descriptions, dealing and operations by God. They are totally different to this dispensation. The church which is in the dispensation of grace, cannot be in this time period.
►If there is a post-tribulation rapture, the church saints have to become one with the saints of Israel, and there would be no dispensational difference or change. The destiny of church then becomes that of Israel too, which is an earthly kingdom, after going through the tribulation. This all contradicts numerous verses.
►If the rapture is a post-tribulation event, obviously the church becomes the tribulation saints together with Israel as one, and all will be raptured together at the Second Coming, leaving no believers on earth to re-populate the earth in the Millennium.
►As believers get to heaven in their new resurrection bodies, there will be no marrying or having children anymore. (Matthew 22:30) But the saints who go, saved into the Millennium will reproduce.
If there is a post-tribulation rapture all will come back in glorified, resurrected bodies and will not marry or have children. So who will repopulate the earth in the Millennium?
►”It was given to Satan to overcome the saints”! (Revelation 13:7) But how can this be? As born-again, Spirit-filled believers, Satan can’t get to “God in us.” Those being referred to hear are a different sort of saint. These are the tribulation saints, who do not have the indwelling Spirit like the church. This is a pre-tribulation rapture proof.
►Romans 11:25-26 “I do not desire you to be ignorant brethren of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own opinion, that hardening in part has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved.”
The term “has come in” (Strong’s G1525) means: “To arise and enter in, and to begin to exist in a new place”. Note what happens next: “And so all Israel will be saved.” You just as accurately say, “And then all Israel will be saved.” This indicates a pre-tribulation rapture, just before the saving work of God begins with Israel in a big way.
►Isaiah 63:2-3 “Why is Your apparel red and Your garments like one who treads the winepress. I have trodden the winepress alone, in My anger and fury. Their blood is sprinkled upon My garment, and I have stained all My robes.”
A “tribulum,” (where we get the word tribulation from), is a Latin word for a threshing roller or board that was used in a winepress to crush the grapes.
Revelation 19:13-14 “He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called, The Word of God, and the armies in heaven clothed in fine linen, white and clean followed Him on white horses.”
We see the Isaiah description of our Lord’s clothing splattered with blood from the tribulation events, and the insightful description of our Lord with His robes splattered in blood, in the Revelation account. Do you see the parallel?
Note that in the Revelation account, we see armies from heaven following our Lord back to the earth at the Second Coming. Note that these armies are clothed in clean white linen. “Clean and white robes” speaks of imputed righteousness. (Revelation 19:8) These armies are the church and must have been in heaven already to be returning.
The church in heaven, the tribulation on earth:
►Jude 1:14 speaks of the Lord coming with ten thousands of His saints to execute judgement on the ungodly at the end of the tribulation period.
►Revelation 5:14 speaks of the twenty four elders falling down to worship the Lord as He takes the scroll and opens it, beginning the tribulation period on earth.
►Revelation 13:6 speaks of the antichrist and his followers “blaspheming those who are in heaven.” Who are those who are in heave during the tribulation?
►Revelation 12:12 speaks of the rejoicing of those who dwell in heaven, while “woe” and “wrath” continue on earth.
►Revelation 3:10 “I will keep them from the hour of trial that will come upon the whole world.”
The original word used for “keep from” in the verse above, is “ek tereo.” This is a most insightful word! “Tereo” is where we get the word “terrain” from. It means the physical earth. The word “ek” means “clean out away from.”
Many post-tribbers claim that the church will be protected through the tribulation period. This word usage alone does not allow that interpretation! Besides, the tribulation saints (many of them) will be martyred in the tribulation and not protected.
The term “hour of trial” is accepted to mean the seven-year tribulation. There is no dispute.
We will be kept clean out away from the tribulation-terrain! Isn’t that good to know!
For those who believe in a post-tribulation rapture, a most important event is missing at the Second Coming! They are in for a big surprise.
►Revelation 19:11-21 describes the events of the Second Coming at the end of the tribulation. (Many other verses too)There is no rapture found here anywhere, except a “rapture” of unbelievers to the “feast of vultures” where they become vulture food. (Matthew 24:28, Ezekiel 39:17).
No mention is made of a post-tribulation rapture in relation to the Second Coming in any verse anywhere in the Bible.
Be careful who you receive from:
We are in a spiritually charged environment. Doctrine is especially charged with either the Spirit of truth or the spirit of error.
A teacher must be known for his teaching success, even if it’s an unpopular message. A godly teacher will have godly results.
How can you believe or trust the word of failed rapture predictors? How can you trust the word of false prophets? If you do, you have some screws loose.
Being led by the Spirit, means that there will be supernatural truths that will be alive in you bringing you to glorious change and maturity.
Be careful of teachers with hearts full of pride and ulterior motives. Be careful of teachers who are novices. Be careful to listen to the inner witness in your heart.
It’s often insightful to note what makes some people mad with you and what does not. There is a huge, growing clash on the go between all things of God, His word, His kingdom and all things of the world. Never the twain shall meet!
The big end-time attacks on the truth are and will continue to be upon Israel, the true church and the pre-tribulation rapture of the church.
By the way, if you are an adherent to any form of replacement theology, by default, you cannot believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. The way the verses are constructed, means you have to accept that you will go through all of the tribulation.
Come in, come in, it’s dinner time:
Come in, come up here, fly away and be seated at the table of magnificent glory. “Pass the gravy please.”
If you are alive at the time of the rapture, one of two spectacular meals awaits you.
You will be ushered in to the great marriage feast of the Lord in heaven as you become His bride forever. (Revelation 19:9)
The other dinner is not so cool!
Revelation 19:17-18 “...Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of captains, the flesh of the mighty men...”
Obviously this “eating” is symbolic, but it makes the point alright!
The tribulation period is also called “the indignation.” (Isaiah 26:19-29)
Indignation (Tribulation) Strong’s G3709: “Orge” Meanings: wrath, vengeance, anger, punishment. One of the meanings of “ogre” is a hideous monster that eats humans!
It’s better to go to the “marriage feast of the Lamb.”
1 Thessalonians 1:10 “...He was raised from the dead, who delivers us from the wrath to come.”
1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation, through our Lord.”
Perhaps the most dramatic, miraculous, spectacular victory of God and the godly will be the pre-tribulation rapture of the church. This rapture marks huge changes on earth and sets in motion the final defeat of the enemies of God.
We are to pray for our peace even now in the forerunner period to these great troubles to come.
This is a combination of a number of my pictures. There is a giant baobab tree (background) a smaller baobab tree which I have solarised. There are sections of a waterfall a rainbow and gold leaf.

Edition 496: November 19th 2019
The Glorious Church:
These are words of life!
Ephesians 5:26-27 “He will sanctify and cleanse the church, with the washing of the water by the word, that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish.”
This edition should be an encouragement to all believers, but it will also be shock to many!
Your future as a born-again believer is glorious. It is bright and shining, splendid and triumphant. Of course the intensity of those things will vary greatly depending on your response to God’s call and plan for you now. But even the one who barely scrapes into heaven will be eternally glorious.
It is the unbeliever whose future will inglorious, despicably grim and gloomy!
Glory: Strong’s H3519 – “Kabowd.” Meanings: Glorious abundance, honour, splendour, riches, dignity, reputation, majesty, brightness.
2 Corinthians 3:18 “We all with unveiled face, beholding as with a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
The breakdown of who you are:
We must divide the word of truth as required by the Bible. We must divide between spirit, soul and body, as revealed in the two verses below:
Hebrews 4:12 “The word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit and of joints and marrow (the body) and is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
1 Thessalonians 5:23 “May the God of peace sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of the Messiah.”
So, it is our spirit that is born-again as a perfect being, right with God in every way. Our soul (mind realm) has to be renewed daily and our body awaits a future full glorification into a new supernatural, eternal, incorruptible existence.
At the end of the day, we will be 100% perfect in all three areas – spirit, soul and body.
The wonderful thing about this is that unlike all religions, we have already been made perfect through the new-birth (in spirit) and that now works from the inside to the outside. All religions try to work the other way around, from the outside in. Because unsaved man is fallen and impure, in all areas, he simply can’t do it!
That is trying to be good and right in your own strength –it is the doomed way! The unsaved are in fact trying to make themselves right with wrong!
Only the holiness of God can destroy and get rid of sin. No man can live right outside of God’s grace.
Fallen man nourishes, pampers and feeds self – He is feeding Satan in him, the author of his own coming destruction.
So, if you have been truly saved for one day, and you get run over by a bus, you will immediately land in heaven to be with our Lord, because of the 100% perfection of your saved state. But it is far better not to get run over by a bus and spend some time working your salvation out.
That is what you will be eternally rewarded for. The believer’s rewards are over and above the foundation of salvation itself.
Note in our key, leading verse at the top, that our Lord will present to Himself a glorious church, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing! It will happen.
Note that we are being transformed “from glory to glory” That mean from imputed glory in our spirit-being to outworked glory and holiness.
You may think that’s impossible, but it is God by His Spirit who does this work in us.
Maturity in Him is our common goal.
When you see and understand that the glory of God is already in your heart, it gives you great encouragement, expectation and dependence on our Lord, His word, and His kingdom.
This is what drives us forward in this terrible world. It’s a lot more real than a daydream or false expectation. It’s the way to a perfect paradise, an Eden of great promise.
The glorious church in heaven:
Physical death or rapture is the great eliminator of all things old and the dawn of all things new. But there are some rather startling facts about the glorified believer in heaven.
Here are some of them:
Psalm 149: 4-9 “The Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation. Let the saints be joyful in glory...Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishment on the peoples...To execute on them the written judgement – This honour have all His saints.”
1 Corinthians 6:2 “Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things that pertain to this life.”
Matthew 19:28 “Assuredly, I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
2 Timothy 2:12 “If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He will also deny us.”
Revelation 3:21 “To Him who overcomes, I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”
Do you see the gravity and seriousness of these things? The Bible does not give us all the details about them, but there are enough to blow your mind.
In theses verses above, believers are told that they will: be involved in some way in the ●judgement of the nations, ●the judgement of angels, ●the judgement of Israel, ●ruling and reigning with our Lord, and ●sharing His throne of glory!
There is of course much more, that will fit in with “ruling and reigning.”
The resurrected church will be involved in ruling and reigning with our Lord in the Millennium, but as I have mentioned many times before, there is life out there in the universe; and the Bible hints at our involvement in a universal reigning as well.
To me, this is all a most humbling thing to even imagine, but here it is in the Bible, and there are more verses on the subject. The point is - it’s time to be deadly serious about your salvation!
The world get’s hammered:
Jeremiah 50:23-24 “How the hammer of the whole earth has been cut apart and broken! How Babylon has become a desolation among the nations! I have laid a snare for you. You have indeed been trapped, O Babylon, and you were not aware. You have been found and caught, because you have contended with the Lord.”
“Babylon” in the verse above is a clear reference to end-time Babylon, which is a type of the whole world system and not the original city which was cursed to “never rise again”, after its destruction as revealed in Jeremiah 51:64, Isaiah 13:20-22 and others.
Numerous verses speak of the judgement and final destruction of Babylon the great, which has a religious arm and a socio-political arm. The judgement of the nations gets underway and runs through the tribulation period.
Revelation 6:16-17 “They (kings of the earth, great and rich men) said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come and who is able to stand?’”
When you go to a funeral, people always presume that the departed one has gone to a better place in heaven. But the truth is: It is appointed for man to die once, then to face judgement.” (Hebrews 9:27) The judgement seat of Messiah is the judgement for eternal rewards, exclusively for believers.
The Great White Throne judgement is exclusively for unbelievers, which sees them cast into hell. This too is an eternal judgement.
Don’t mess with the things that will decide your eternal future.
What constitutes a glorious church?
In one simple little discourse, I’m presenting you now with the full ingredients that are required for a successful, Spirit filled and led church. Of course there is more, but what follows is the foundation.
Hebrews 6:1-2 reveals the seven-fold foundational “doctrine of Messiah. All the doctrines of the Bible find their place somewhere amongst these seven. They are:
●Maturing to perfection, ●Repentance from dead works, ●faith towards God, ●baptisms (plural), ● laying on of hands (gifts of Spirit), ●resurrection of the dead, (end times), ●eternal judgement. (Heaven and hell)
A church is to “fully preach” the word, which would include all of the above doctrines and their related doctrines. (Romans 15:19)
Part of the “fully preached” word and doctrine of Messiah includes the practice of and experience of the baptism in the Spirit. Note in the verse below that the gifts of the Spirit are for the church until the coming of the Lord. They have not ceased, as many Spirit-less, dead churches teach:
1 Corinthians 1:7 “Do not come short in any gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord.”
A church must correctly apply the division between the truth of our position in Messiah, and the truth of cross-bearing and the hard sayings of discipleship. (Temporal truth.)
►A church must be the “pillar and foundation of truth.” (1Timothy 3:15)
►A church must keep the cross central, and the individual’s personal cross to take up daily.
►A church must have God’s plans for Israel uppermost in their theology and teaching.
You dare not trust any Bible teacher who is silent on Israel or a proponent of replacement theology. Beware of that satanic spirit. It will devour you further down the line as it becomes more spiritually charged. Flee them.
Beware the church that is demonically silent on the big moral issues of the day.
The true glorious church glows in the dark!
Revelation 19:8 “To her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.”
The glorious church and Israel:
These verses below, speak of Israel’s future. They have not been fulfilled yet.
Isaiah 60:3 “The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”
Isaiah 62:3-4 “You (Zion) shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. You shall no longer be termed – forsaken...”
Isaiah 58:8 “Your (Israel’s) light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness will go before you. The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.”
Israel will awaken to the Lord in tempestuous times. It will be the time of the tribulation – Jacob’s trouble, or Daniel’s seventieth week. It will come. It will happen. It is for sure.
Psalm 50:1-3 “The Mighty One, God the Lord has spoken and called the earth from the rising of the sun to its going down. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God will shine forth. Our God shall come and not keep silent. A fire shall devour before Him and it shall be very tempestuous all around Him.”
Yes it will be in terrible times, but God will do it and bring it all to pass. In fact in this time of great trouble there will be an “early rain” and a “latter rain” at the same time. The verse below has a double reference to spiritual rain, the rain of salvation.
Joel 2:23 “Be glad you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God, for He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you - the former rain and the latter rain in the first month.”
Isaiah 49:3 “He said to me, ‘you are My servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.’”
Jeremiah 51:20 “You (Israel) are My battle axe and weapons of war, for with you I will break the nations in pieces. With you I will destroy kingdoms.”
Yes the Lord will be glorified in Israel, but it won’t be plain sailing. God will use His battle-axe – Israel to destroy nations and kingdoms. I wonder what the churches of replacement theology think of this.
The church of man’s glory:
Today, there are many wonderful churches out there led by great men of God, with a heart after the deeper things of God. They are a living, shining, glorious light in the dark.
Tragically, there are many churches that have more in common with a local circus. There are many that are pure frauds led by experts of manipulation. There are many churches led by proud ego-freaks, thieves and apostate apostles.
It is always the new believer, the uninformed, or the ignorant that fall for the counterfeits leaders. The severity will fall on theses church leaders.
Deuteronomy 27:18 “Cursed is he who makes the blind to wander out of the way of God.”
Hero-worship and the approval of man is a deadly trap that many fall into regarding their teachers and leaders. (John 12:43, Galatians 1:10)
The true church is not simply the minister and the Christians. It is them plus Yeshua the Messiah in them and the fullness of the Spirit at work in them.
Denominationalism (division) is man’s best effort to build the church! This is why in many respects; they are dead empty shells, with the sound of the sea-shore inside rather the voice of God.
John 7:18 “He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but he who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true and no unrighteousness is in Him.”
What a powerful safety-net this verse above is!
John 5:44 “How can you believe who receive honour from one another and do not seek the honour that comes from the only God?”
Do not seek the glory of men and the approval of others. Don’t compare yourselves among yourselves. (1 Corinthians1:10) It is a strong tendency. Render honour to whom it is due, but do not seek it. If it finds you - well and good – stay humble!
Much of the church has forsaken the truth and replaced it with stinking error. They are no longer the “pillar and foundation of truth”. They are built by an imposter; they are led by wolves, and fed by the doomed.
The remnant church:
I will be sharing more on this soon, but for now, let’s just look briefly at some issues.
The Bible defines in many places the remnant of Israel. It is not “all Israel will be saved.” It is all of the remnant. The word itself means the remaining, left over group, and not the masses.
Likewise, there is a remnant within the church. It is this smaller group that stand apart from the compromised, superficial masses and much of the church which has progressively become entrenched in deep error today. This is the real church of glory, arrested by the word of God and enslaved to our glorious kingdom of liberty!
It’s a great comfort to know that there is a remnant church out there, amidst all the confusion.
You can, and must be part of the remnant. I’ll share more on this soon. It is very exciting.
The victorious church of God’s glory:
This unshakable kingdom is coming by war and judgement! Everything that can be shaken will be.
The kingdom and its King must be seen in the church.
If you want peace it will only come through righteousness first. (Romans 14:17) There is no peace for the wicked says the Bible.
We are now at the start of the end-time climax of the outpouring of good and evil. The wheat and the tares are springing to life under the same climatic conditions. It must be so.
Isaiah 40:5 “The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
There is so much pure glory that lies ahead. We can’t even imagine it. And we are preparing for it now. Don’t let the darkness flood in and take away your reward.
Do not shy away from the desire of, or pursuit of eternal rewards. A good way to think of it is: Rewards will be given, not to boost your eternal ego, but because of the glory that you added to the kingdom of God. Seek His glory and you are safe.
2 John 1:8 “Look to yourselves that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.”
Revelation 3:11 “Behold, I come quickly. Hold fast what you have that no one may take your crown.”
Hebrews 10:35 “Do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.”
These verses above (and more like them) reveal the fact that it is possible to lose your rewards. Not only is it fine to seek rewards, we are to protect and preserve them, by faith even now. How do we lose them? By being a big idiot.
In these days, you must know our Lord well. You must know and love His word.
Truly influential people are those that know God and His word. They will be vindicated.
God has a great and wonderful eternal plan for all His people!
Satan’s ace is to get people to trust in themselves and act in their own strength. It is not good enough to have the truth. It must all go through the cross, which is where all ulterior motives, manipulation and the like are stripped away and the pure truth receives power.
The Christian (and the church) can only be defeated by Satan from within. If you let him in yourself, you have only yourself to blame. Our Lord said - “Satan has nothing in Me.”
Satan’s works ways and attacks have a time stamp on them. As they end, the glory of all glories shines brighter and brighter. We have a wonderful future, don’t get discouraged now. Don’t give up!

Edition 495: November 11th 2019
The breaking dawn:
These are words of life!
This follows-on from the previous edition, “The setting sun,” in some respects. It is a stand-alone edition, but many of the principles and major messages continue the theme.
As with sunsets, the breaking dawn is a beautiful time. It has elements of glowing, gleaming, beaming, newness, freshness and cleanness. But you may miss the breaking dawn if you are asleep and trapped in the misery of the enduring dark night of the devil’s nightmares.
In a sense, the breaking dawn is also a metaphoric metamorphosis, like a butterfly, leaving behind the old, as all things become new.
There is a breaking dawn for the born-again, true church, for the false church, for Israel, and for the world, all of which I’ll deal with in this edition.
One thing about the setting sun and the breaking dawn is that you can’t stop them. They are coming, ready or not! There is an absolute permanence about them too, you can’t wind them back.
The dawn speaks of approaching light and all things new. But it also speaks of terrible, terrifying regret as the intensifying light of God exposes the deep darkness in the dead of the world’s night.
Unless you are stone dead to the things of God, you would be well aware of the absolute critical times we are in. Too bad that many have settled for the worsening world and have become acclimatised to it and at ease in it, and joined to its deadly ways.
Now is the time to know the truth, led by the Spirit, It is your armour and shield.
Godly spiritual knowledge, understanding and wisdom are all progressive, like a new dawn. We also see a downward progression of ungodly wisdom from the earthly (worldly), to the soulish, to the demonic. (James 3:15) Take good note of this!
As the emergency sirens scream all around the world, God is intensifying His provision for His people to stand securely against the onslaught.
Beware the false dawn:
In my flying days, many years ago, as a pilot, I was taught how to identify a false horizon in a hazy sky. If you trim your aircraft to a false horizon, you will end up being far from straight and level. Thick haze sometimes contains imbedded thunderstorms, which you can’t detect until too late. These situations can lead you to believe that all is okay, when you are actually about to hit trouble.
Likewise, we have false spiritual horizons, and spiritual haze full of storms. People think they are in the light, straight and level, with everything being okay, when in fact, they are on thin ice, and on the verge of hell!
Do not believe everything you see and hear, even from many pulpits and ministries. Do not compare yourselves amongst yourselves. Do test the spirits and do always embrace the cross. You can embrace a dead corpse in a mortuary, which is like clinging to the world, or you can embrace the life-giving cross of crucifixion, and resurrection.
The dawn for the true church:
This dawn speaks wonderfully of a deeply maturing church ready to be snatched out of darkness into His glorious light – forever. The rapture itself is most certainly a spectacular, dramatic dawn, from darkness to light.
Colossians 1:13 “He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.”
John 12:36 “While you have light, believe in the light that you may become sons of the light.”
1 Peter 2:9 “You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.”
This dawn is exclusive. It is only for those who meet the conditions.
It is possible to walk in this new dawn even now, to an extent, by applying the resurrection power of the cross even now, but what a wonderful, glorious future hope we have too!
The dawn for the false church:
The dawn of deception is the hallmark of the counterfeit church.
The counterfeit church is the church that rejects the centrality of the cross of Calvary and its application. It is the church of “another Jesus.” It is measured by how well it fits in with the world. These churches are actually “enemies of the cross of Messiah.” They are not enemies of of our Lord, just the cross – which identifies them as counterfeits. (Philippians 3:18)
Be aware that God does have a limit to His grace. He is the God of many new chances, but be careful out there - there is a dead-end road of no return.
The word “denomination” means division. It is the exact opposite of the requirement of God for His church, which is unity based on Spirit-led truth. Truth is not divided.(1 Corinthians 1:10, Ephesians 4:11-13, John 17:23)
“How can a house divided against itself stand”, especially in the coming greatest ever storms and flood of deception? (Mark 3:25)
A divided church will not stand, even if it takes 2000 years to teeter and fall. We are seeing, right now, the final fall of much of the church. It must be so, because division has no power over the powers of darkness.
How did the church become so divided?
Jude 1:19 “These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.”
That’s it. One very short, very simple verse which explains 2000 years of church division! – Amazing indeed! Isn’t it interesting that the divided denominational churches are in unity about one thing – The elimination of the baptism in the Spirit.
You can build all sorts of man-made institutions, full of great ideas, but outside of the fullness of the Spirit they are all man-made idols for destruction. Yes God has used many of them (sometimes) but do you think there will there be divisions (denominations) in eternity? Of course not!
The problem, especially today is that those outside of the fullness of the Spirit of God will only be partially led by the Spirit and in grave danger of being deceived. Great deception in the church is one of the biblical hallmarks of the time.
Let me add that if you reject the fullness of the Spirit of God in these days, you will become an enemy of the fullness of the Spirit and you will be led by man and the world, into the coming darkness. You can bet on that!
The dawn for Israel:
This dawn broke in 1948 as national independence was granted to Israel in one day. But that is just the forerunner of the monumental spiritual birth of Israel still to come. (Isaiah 66:8)
The prophetic dawn began in 1948. It became more visible in 1967, and is getting brighter all the time now as the world gets darker.
Here is a powerful rebuke to the proponents of replacement theology:
Isaiah 66:5 (The Lord vindicates Zion) “Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at His word: Your brethren who hated you, who cast you out for My name’s sake, said, ‘Let the Lord be glorified, that we may see your joy.’ But they shall be ashamed.”
Do you see it? These are the people coming against God’s call upon Israel. They “hated Israel” and wanted their own joy to be the big thing. Well, God says that they “will be ashamed.” It’s not very clever to come against God’s word and be led by Satan rather than God in these dangerous days!
Continuing with Isaiah 66:
Isaiah 66:6 (Note that number) “...The voice of the Lord was heard, who fully repays His enemies.”
The verse above is yet another in this short discourse coming against those of replacement theology and anti-Semitism.
Isaiah 66:7-13 Here we see Israel being born in a day, which has reference to her natural birth and with a double reference in application to her spiritual new birth. We then see Jerusalem rejoicing and finally, Jerusalem becomes the place of comfort for the Jews and Gentiles.
Isaiah 66:14-15 (The reign and indignation of God) “When you see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like grass. The hand of the Lord shall be known to His servants, and His indignation to His enemies. Behold, the Lord will comes with fire...to render His anger with fire and His rebuke with flames of fire.”
This speaks prophetically of the tribulation period, but yet again we see another sharp rebuke and warning of destruction to those of replacement theology etc.
I have said many times that you better sit up in terror when the Lord warns a number of times in one discourse about something.
- The Lord warns three times against replacement theology in this discourse above in Isaiah 66.
- The Lord warns three times in one chapter, against homosexuality (Romans 1:24-29)
- The Lord warns five times against replacement theology in the discourse of Romans 11.
- The Lord warns five times against deception in the end-time discourse on the Mount of Olives. (Matthew 24:4-26)
The dawn for Israel will take her into the tribulation period and finally out and into the new Millennium of great glory.
Isaiah 9:2 “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined.”
Isaiah 62:1-3 “For Zion’s sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns. The Gentiles shall see your (Israel) righteousness, and all kings your glory and you shall be called a new name. You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord...”
What an amazing turn of events! Israel is to become “brightness like a lamp” to the Gentiles! Note that “kings” – political leaders will come to Israel’s glory. Note that Israel shall be a “crown of glory” in the Lord’s hand. What drama this is!
Israel will soon be: The Lord’s battle axe, the messenger of salvation to the nations and world-leaders. She will be brightness to the Gentiles world. Israel will be the Lord’s “crown of glory.”
The dawn for the world:
It is the dawn of troubles like never seen before. (Matthew 24:21, Daniel 12:1, Jeremiah 30:7) It is the dawn of massive wars between the nations.
Ancient enemies of God, Israel and the church will attack. New, modern enemies will join in.
The dawn of deep, intensifying darkness is the lot for the world. It’s a progressive darkness that comes with the approach of Satan and the antichrist. It is a dawn of blindness. This is a terrible, eternal night full of wars, disasters, cataclysmic calamities, creature of the night – devils and demons.
Yes there is such a thing as dark light! “If the light in you is really darkness, how great is your darkness.” (Matthew 6:23)
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who turn darkness into light and light into darkness.” (Isaiah 5:20)
The world’s brightest light is deep darkness. It’s a deadly spiritual darkness caused by God, the devil, demons and the world-system.
The unsaved of the world think that they’re okay and don’t need a saviour. They think they can save themselves. They think that their good works will be noticed by God.
The great deception of the day is: “I’m okay, I can do it. I have no need for a saviour with a cross.” “Give us Barabbas,” is the cry. (Luke 23:18) “Come down from the cross,” they say. (Mark 15:30) That is the cry from the heart of Satan and his mouthpiece, the mass-media.
By the way, the name “Bar Abbas” means “son of the father.” The first name of Barabbas is revealed in some original manuscripts but not all. It was “Jesus.” So your choice is Jesus, the son of the father, a common criminal with no cross, or Jesus the Son of God, the perfect One, who became sin for us on the cross!
The ways of the world are doomed. Its future is fire! It’s wise to come out from among them now!
Romans 13:12 “The night is far spent, the day is at hand, therefore let us cast off the works of darkness” and let us put on the armour of light.”
As the light gets dimmer, you can see less and less. Progressive darkness occurs because the “prince of darkness” (Ephesians 6:12) is drawing nearer and nearer. But tragically, the closer the world gets to Satan the more its people become blinded, and you can’t see even if you want to.
With the dawn of darkness and its accompanying blindness, comes growing great deception! And while this is all on the go things get brighter for the true believer!
This dawn of darkness, blindness and deception is accompanied with deep personal torment as seen in numerous verses in the Bible.
Jeremiah 10:10 “The Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath, the earth will tremble and the nations will not be able to abide His indignation.”
Psalm 33:10-12 “The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the people of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, and the people whom He has chosen as His inheritance.”
The verse above is a good one to send to the United Nations as a special gift!
Finally, the dawn will break as a new world comes about in the Millennium. but not before.
How to stay in the light:
There is a biblical formula for good, clean spiritual health and sight. It is “repent and believe”!
If your heart is right and full of humility before God, with all pride removed, He will draw and lead you into all truth. All the divisions and errors in the body of Messiah, every one of them, comes from people of personal pride, and those who have rejected the fullness of the Spirit.
The way to glory is the way of humility before our Lord, embracing the cross.
John 16:13-15 “When He the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will tell you things to come...He will take of mine and declare it to you.”
Note in the verse above that to be led into all truth, hearing the voice of God through the Spirit of God is required. People outside the fullness of the Spirit of God get their “leading” from man. You can tell by all the personal opinions, divisions, and the absence of the radical teaching of the cross.
Have you ever noticed that those of replacement theology hardly ever (some never) preach or teach on the cross! That should be a red light flashing, and bell ringing – stay away!
2 Peter 1:19 “We have the prophetic word made more sure, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.”
Note in this beautiful verse above that it is the prophetic word itself that will lead you into intensifying light. It is a glorious light and it is required, therefore, take heed!
The morning star which arises in your heart is the realisation that Bible prophecy is the “most sure thing.” It can happen suddenly and knock you right off your perch as it did with me!
Do you have a bright star – the morning star, alive and shining in your heart?
Personally, I recall the day the morning star arose in my heart, back in the late 70s. It changed me dramatically, radically and suddenly! I know, because I freaked out some of my friends back then, because they only had a dark star in their hearts and they couldn’t see what I could see.
Some of your friends may think you’re strange already, but if you really want to entrench it in them, just let that morning star shine and shout!
Once this morning star has arisen in your heart, it remains there. It gets brighter. It keeps you in the light of God’s glorious word and ways. It is a sign of the approaching day.
The tree of life:
The ultimate tree of life was the cross of Calvary, but there is a similar life-producing tree in the Bible.
There is no dawn in the land of this tree! It’s light is the light of God – forever. (Revelation 21:23)
The tree of life may be symbolic or a metaphor, but don’t miss its incredible supernatural magnificence. The main symbolism of the tree of life is that it represents the supernatural life creating and sustaining power of God.
Revelation 2:7 “He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”
Revelation 22:2 “In the middle of the street and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
This fruitful tree of life is mirrored in Ezekiel 47:12.
What we are told is that it is a key component of the eternal “Paradise of God!”
We are just given glimpses and hints of this wonderful thing to come. But even glimpses of eternity’s wonders should inspire and motivate you to take full advantage of the glory to come, even now.
1 John 2:8 “...The darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.”
Philippians 2:15 “Become blameless and harmless children of God without fault in the midst of a cooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.”
We as believers await this “true light.” It is already shed abroad in our hearts, but the full manifestation is coming soon. We are the triumphant!
Yes Lord – let your unshakable kingdom come – quickly – very quickly!
I took these pictures in the wilds of Namaqualand Desert during wild flower season.
